Stunning Black Hills creek-front property surrounded by towering granite canyon walls with private sandy beach less than 10 min drive to Rapid City businesses

Step onto the deck with a large hot tub overlooking the creek. Then cool down in the creek's 4-ft deep swimming holes and fish for trout.  Prepare it on the Traeger pellet grill & smoker.

Gather around the fire pits at the beach & hot tub.  Then fall asleep to the sounds of the creek on the veranda bedroom.

Bring kids & pets!!!

PRIVACY:

The entire property, including the beach area and the hot tub, is private.  The closest house is approximately 1/4 mile distance.

PETS:

Enclosed grassy area ideal for pets who do not tear up lawns

BEDS:

- 4 Queen-size beds with 2 people per bed = 8 people total

- 1 Full-size futon futon for 1 person

- 1 Fold-out mattress for 1 person

BEDROOMS: 2 upstairs, and 2 downstairs

- 2 Upstairs Bedrooms: Open floor plan (no doors) with a small bridge connecting the two bedrooms -- best for families or close friends.

- Downstairs Veranda Bedroom: Perfect in summer. Not recommended in colder months. (Not technically a bedroom in the traditional sense, but is enclosed and has been converted into a "summer bedroom" right next to the creek. It's everyone's favorite place to sleep!)

- Downstairs Standard Bedroom: Traditional enclosed bedroom

STAIRCASE:

The upstairs is accessible only via a narrow spiral staircase that may not be suitable for all guests or for moving bulky items such as large suitcases.

PARKING:

Driveways are available in both the front and back of the house, together accommodating at least five vehicles. For additional space — or if you prefer not to park near the front door — there is an overflow area behind the house, past the shed next to the large propane tank. This area can accommodate several more cars or larger vehicles such as trailers.

PRIVATE ROAD:

The beautiful private road that winds along the creek leading up to the house is about 1 mile long, graveled, and easy for any vehicle to travel. The great part about this road is that it’s quiet and rarely traveled except by residents, giving you lots of privacy and the feeling of being tucked away in the wilderness — even though you’re only a few minutes from the city. Nevertheless. since it’s a single-lane road with two-way traffic, we recommend driving slowly. If another car approaches from the opposite direction, simply pull to the side to let them pass.

ACCESSABILITY:

A few steps to get up to the front and back doors.

The narrow spiral staircase for accessing the upstairs bedrooms is charming, but not ideal for guests with mobility concerns, large-bodied individuals, or carrying of large suitcases.
