I really loved staying at the Lake View home. The place is spacious, super clean, and has everything you could possibly need. And the view is absolutely amazing!

Wonderful vacation

This property is fantastic, well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are very responsive to all communications. It was pretty centrally located to the sites we wanted to see. We highly recommend this property.

An amazing property in a beautiful area. We loved the peacefulness of the neighborhood but still being close to restaurants, shops and the supermarket! Highly recommend!

Great Location Great House

House was clean, owners are great. This was a great location for us very accessible for our motorcycle trips. Overall, great experience. Will come here again.

Outstanding rental. Owner very responsive and helpful. Comfortable home great as home base for day trips. Well stocked kitchen and pantry. Highly recommend !

This home is beautiful with great views. Nice area and the Lake is a great place to walk. Location is great for visitors to the area. Not far from Mount Rushmore.

Rapid City Vacation

The location of the house was perfect for all the sight seeing location with access to a great park. The listing described the house perfectly. It was a great place to come home and unwind after being out and about all day.

Looking for a place to live.

The home was beautiful. A week stay is not long enough to look for a place to live. If your vacationing yes but if you need a centralized place to stay for a few weeks….this is the place. It’s perfect. Thank you so very much for letting us stay in your home.

Good home base!

We spent 3 nights & enjoyed the space. Very comfortable with plenty of cooking utensils, games & books. Nice small workout room if you have any energy after seeing the sights that aren’t to far away! Nice outside space & hot tub that we didn’t have time to enjoy. All in all was a good home base!

Centrally located with a view!

This was a bucket list trip for my father. Mount Rushmore did not disappoint. (It never does) The house was spacious with two levels to relax on. But everything on the main level for those who can't do stairs. Close to town, stores and restaurants, with a beautiful secluded location. We saw deer every day.

Simply gorgeous!

This property was absolutely perfect for our party (mom, dad, 2 adult children and their significant others). It was sparkling clean, well kept, and the decor was very fun and interesting! The views off the multiple decks were spectacular! The hot tub was wonderfully relaxing after our days of hiking! They thought of everything! The host was very responsive to my questions. We certainly did not want to leave!!! Highly recommend this place!!! It was wonderful!! Thank you so much!!

Great place

Great house on side of hill with sweeping views from deck, beautiful kitchen and open interior. The four of us loved it. The combination bathtub-shower has no grab bars so we bought, used, and took with us a set of Asluco suction cup ones—they worked well. Reaching the house from Canyon Park requires confident driving skills. The approach is on a short section of narrow road set into the hillside with an unguarded no-shoulder dropoff on one side and curves with limited sight distance.

Excellent location for a meet up

While this is not a gourmet kitchen, the space is perfect if you like to gather with friends and cook. We played board games almost every night as well on the large dining room table (ones we brought, although the house has some nice classics). Our group did not have this consideration, but the property is not accessible for wheelchairs/walkers/etc., as it is multilevel inside and out. However, it did make for multiple areas into which people could retreat for more private conversations or reading. A semi-secluded hot tub and fire pit add to this privacy factor. The property is also within easy reach of grocery stores and restaurants (approximately 15-20 minutes to many parts of town).

Pictures don’t match the property

The pictures are not accurate to this property. The picture of the front of the house up on the cliff is not the actual house; it is the neighbors house. The yard is completely overgrown with weeds; so much so that the fire pit is unable to be used and they were grown up all around the hot tub. The refrigerator had very old food spills and grime and food still in it. This property appears to be the owners primary residence. I did text the owner with the issues and she responded immediately to apologize for the dirty refrigerator. This house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood and was centrally located.

Rapid City home in hills

The house is centrally located to many attractions near Rapid City, which was great. The view from the house was very nice! However, the house is in the hills, mostly rock and tall grass on a sloped lot. There is little to no yard for very young children. There is a park about 3-4 mins away which we used alot. It is quite beautiful and provides play areas for young ones. Our family had a very good time staying at the home.
