Beautiful Kailua Hale 1 Bedroom

Classic Hawaiian architecture on a beautifully landscaped property. You have free on-site parking and easy access to our outdoor shower. Our spacious 1-bedroom unit is a permitted short term rental which means you can stay for a few nights or as many nights as you would like. Our accommodation has all the modern day comfort features such as air conditioner, walk-in closet, hair dryer, iron and board, washer/dryer, fully equipped full-size kitchen with Keurig coffee, toaster, stove, microwave, and all the essentials to cook and eat your meal. Super comfortable memory foam king size bed, indoor and outdoor dining area and if you need to bring your work, we have a coffee table lift desk with super fast WiFi and CAT 5 network cable. We have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Super comfortable, extremely clean and modern with everything you need for a wonderful stay. You have free use of our beach cruiser bicycles, beach towels, beach tote, coolers. We worked hard to think of all the details so you have a super comfortable and wonderful stay.

We are centrally located in the heart of Kailua. Kailua is best known for having the best beach in the world as well as a charming Kailua town. We are walking distance to Kailua Beach, Kailua Town, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, breweries. Kailua is a bike friendly town. Many major attractions are within 45-minute drive.

Beautiful Stay!

Overall an incredible experience Yvonne and Tobi were incredible hosts. So easy to communicate with, personable and welcoming. The neighborhood was beautiful, close to the beach and downtown shopping/restaurants. I couldn't recommend this stay enough. We will DEFINITELY be coming back :)

Perfect location in Kailua

The location is perfect, a short walking distance to town restaurants and shops, as well as to the beach. Property was just as described in the listing and all the extra perks like beach chairs, cooler, bicycles, and laundry added to the experience . All communications with Tobi were positive and check-in/check-out was easy. We definitely recommend this property.

Great experience all around

This was the perfect place to stay on our visit to Kailua. The unit was nice and clean, easy to find, super convenient between downtown and the beach with convenient parking, and amenities like beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella and even cruiser bikes. Tobi was very hospitable and responsive when we had questions and he made the experience feel like home away from home.

Great location and Hale

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kailua Hale. The Hale had everything we needed and was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect to town and not too far to our favorite and most beautiful beach. Tobi and Yvonne were perfect hosts, very knowledgeable and friendly, made our stay most enjoyable and memorable. My only concern is that when the word gets out that its such a great place to stay, it will be more difficult to get a reservation in the future.

Great Location and awesome hosts

Really enjoyed our stay. The property is located halfway between Kailua town and the beach. A short 10 minute walk to either or take advantage of their cruiser bikes. The property was immaculate and well appointed. Yvonne and Tobi were absolutely charming hosts. Very communicative and check in was a breeze. Would definatly return.

Close to town

Unit is a short, about 5 minutes, walk to town and close to many great restaurants and shops. Walk to beach is about 10-15 minutes, but the beach cruisers make a quick ride to the beach in under 5 minutes or to Island Snow, a great place to get shave ice! Kailua Beach is beautiful and our favorite beach on Oahu. Use of laundry facilities and beach gear are a nice perk that made the stay very comfortable.

Great host

We used the 4 beach cruisers everyday. We also used the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler for beach days. Tobey is a great host making sure we are comfortable. Location is next to the busy Kailua Rd so you can hear the cars from inside. I wore earplugs at night so I slept fine.

Good place to stay in Kailua

I'll preface this by noting that our stay was between Christmas and New Year, and the prices for staying anywhere in Oahu (especially outside of Honolulu/Waikiki) were extremely high. Being our only visit to the island, I have no point of reference to assess the value vs. money. That said, the unit is functional and comfortable, the location is excellent, everything is exactly as described, and communication with the owners was great

Awesome Accommodations and Overall Experience

My adult family of 5 had a wonderful stay and overall awesome experience in 2 of Tobi's apartments. Communication was prompt and responsive from day one until departure time. The units were clean, comfortable, updated, and conveniently located in the town of Kailua. The bonuses such as; use of bikes, extra towels, outdoor shower, big screen tv's, air conditioning were certainly appreciated. Tobi and his wife went above and beyond accommodating a few special requests. Highly recommended and plan to return as soon as able.

Amazing Location - Superb Hosts!

The location of this home cannot be beat if you are looking for a local low-key vibe, walking distance to the beach and the best shops/restaurants etc. The unit is clean, A/C is powerful (we stayed in August and it was quite warm). Our boys were extremely comfortable in the living room which has its own pull-out sofa and smart-tv. The master bedroom is very spacious with a large walk-in closet. Our favorite was the outdoor shower under the fragrance of a plumeria tree in the afternoons facing the warm sun after spending our days at the beach. Hosts provided beach gear (umbrellas, chairs, coolers and plenty of boogie boards). We are already looking at booking again next year! Mahalo!!

Cute unit in a great location

The unit that we stayed in was extremely clean and well maintained. The location cannot be beat–15 minute walk to Kailua Beach with a young child and only 5 minutes to Kailua town. My family and I loved staying at this central location, and being able to walk to all of the great restaurant recommendations. The beach toys, chairs, and mats were a great amenity, as was the outdoor shower to minimize sand in the unit. The owners were extremely responsive and were able to help us quickly with all of our requests. The only downside is that all of the walls are partial walls (including the bedroom and bathroom), so this unit might not be ideal for families with young children if you have very different bedtimes. Nevertheless, we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home in Kailua near the ocean and shops!

We had to travel for a loss in our family and the stay in Kailua with our hosts was nothing but wonderful. The location was near where we needed to be, but as an added bonus the ocean was within few minutes walking distance as well as post office and many other shops and restaurants. Tobi was super accommodating and helpful in getting us checked in and assisting with any needs. We thank both our hosts and had a wonderful time in this very nice 1 bedroom. It has everything we needed, was super comfortable and we were able to easily have two people with separate sleeping quarters and privacy. The bathroom has two pocket doors to aid with privacy as well. The surrounding garden and birdsongs are magnificent in the morning hours. Mahalo!

We love Kailua and we love our beautiful island of Oahu and so we want to share this with everyone.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Kailua is a quintessential beach town with a laid back community feel. We are surrounded by two gorgeous beaches and steady onshore trade winds that makes Kailua great spot for windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, whale watching and other water related activities. We are best known for our long and sandy beaches which are considered among the most beautiful in the world. As you can sense, life here revolves around the beach.

Kailua is only 12 miles northeast of Waikiki, but the lifestyle here is anything but urban. Once you cross over the Nuʻuanu Pali and emerge out of the tunnels, be prepared for sunny skies, gorgeous greenery, the softest powder white sand beaches, cool ocean breezes and an endless expanse of blue-green ocean.

The heart of Kailua town is just a few minutes walk away and you’ll find lots to explore from cute boutique shops and restaurants, bars and local breweries to all your essential needs and then there are the ocean activity stores where you can purchase or rent snorkel equipment, kayaks, and other essential gear for fun in the surf and sun. We are a super friendly and laid-back town so feel free to say hello to all the local passer-bys. Kailua claims a healthy scattering of locally owned shops and eateries plus there’s an open market every Thursday evening and another two unique markets every Sunday morning.

We maintain our property extremely well and we maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout. Our property is thoughtfully laid out and updated and our amenities are TOP notch. We have all the modern comfort features with a Hawaiian flair. So we definitely take a lot of pride in thinking about all the details that gives our guests a super comfortable and enjoyable stay. We feel our validation of our efforts is seeing our guests return for future visits.
