Lofty Cottage, 15 min to airport & downtown

Adorable cottage / loft-style guesthouse. Easy access to all sides of Eugene. This little home has a tiny footprint but manages to have enough room for 5 to sleep comfortably and all fit around the dining table for meals which you can make in the full kitchen. The living areas have vaulted ceilings which give the space a wide-open feel.
Two of the beds are tucked away in the sleeping loft which gives kids (of any age) the feeling that they're sleeping in the lookout tower of a fort.

Lovely Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out we were quick and easy. Host was responsive and very helpful. ❤️ I definitely recommend anyone to stay here. 2 adults and 2 teenagers, stay was very comfortable.

Good value for money. More room, privacy, and amenities than a similar priced or more expensive motel/hotel room. Nicely cleaned and furnished with dishes, towels, everything we needed!

Cute & comfy place

Lots of options for sleeping since the couch also makes into a bed along with the beds in the loft and bedroom. Very cool there were board games so the kids didn’t rely on tv or tablets for their only entertainment. Thanks Melissa!

Cozy cottage

We had a great stay at this property. Even with the small square footage we didn’t feel cramped. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have both a/c and heaters to keep a comfortable temperature. Our hosts were wonderful and they even left out jumper cables for us on the porch when we left our car lights on overnight. We also purchased fresh eggs from their backyard chickens. Delicious!

Cute little place, helpful responsive host

It was a nice little place, Although the ceiling of the loft was much lower than I expected, it didn't matter because we didn't need the space. I needed a couple things (sheets for the sofa bed , battery for a clock) and the host was quickly responsive, and appreciative of me mentioning issues. Very positive experience!

Melissa was very helpful with all aspects of this stay, and I recommend her beautiful cottage without hesitation. However, I do not recommend booking vrbo properties through Expedia; the Expedia<->vrbo.com technical connection does not work well; 404 urls in emails, etc. To reiterate, this has nothing to do with Melissa or her property! Just book it directly through vrbo :).

Wonderful location

Very tidy and great location! Loft area is best suited for kids, but we made it work. Wonderfully appointed with everything you need and responsive host. Perfect for enjoying all Eugene has to offer!

My new place in Eugene!

We we're moving my daughter in to University of Oregon and this place made everything easier and lowered our stress. It's cute, cozy and homey, but still has lots of room. Close to campus and easy to get to with good parking and the owner is super helpful. I'll be using this is my regular place to stay when I visit my UO Duck!

Cozy Cottage

A lovely small space which was perfect for our needs. Clean, tidy and bright with a few thoughtful amenities. Shower is very small which should be noted by larger guests. Great communication with host!

Some things about your host: If I had to pick my own favorite strength it would be my ability and desire to give people the space to be their true selves. My family and I have hosted many international students over the years and I loved the way it stretched us to imagine worlds beyond our walls, and kept us from assuming that our way of life is somehow central. I’m a foodie (omnivore), a half-hearted minimalist and a full-hearted parent and spouse. I love big-picture thinking and being a part of things that feel impactful. I’m married to my homeschooling, urban farmer husband and we have two awesome kids who keep us entertained at all times.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I have been told by many travelers that our home and guesthouse are in the perfect location to get to everywhere they need to be for their trip to Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, and the surrounding areas. You will enjoy the calmer surroundings of being on the city's limits but still a quick trip to the center of town, or the Eugene airport.
