The Boho Bungalow is a newly renovated space walking distance to WTAMU & the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum. We are just 14 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon, 13 minutes from Amarillo and minutes from the square in Canyon with cute shops and restaurants. The kitchen has brand new appliances, the bedrooms are cozy and the living room has plenty of space to gather together. **No Smoking. No Pets** Please note: the space has a split type ductless system. Before arrival, we turn it down to 68. The unit is the correct size for the space. The fan is pointed in direction of bedrooms and hall, and the ceiling fans are reversed for summer cooling. The remote is on the wall. Be aware, during very hot summer nights, some guests might not find the bedrooms cool enough- especially if doors are shut.
The Boho Bungalow is the perfect little spot for our quick trips to watch WT Football. We enjoyed having a comfortable spot to watch TV, play games and have our morning coffee.
What a cute cozy place! Everything we needed. Great communication with the hosts. Convenient to everything. Thank you for the effort you put on to make the place feel like home for a few days.
We loved the coziness and comfort of the property. We especially loved the very low traffic and safe, quiet feeling of the neighborhood. We also like its close proximity to anywhere we needed to be in Canyon. I do need to say, though that the only thing Iâm not caring for when renting a privately owned property is that I have to strip the beds empty the trash and take it out. I can understand having to do my dishes, yes. So then with the cleaning fee and all I am paying the same as for a hotel which does everything including breakfast. But again, I do love the property and the host was a gracious and excellent host, so helpful in every way! Please donât rule me out of renting again, I do truly love most of what you all have to offer!
What a great apartment for our Spring Break stay. It's so nice to walk into a VRBO and there's all the basic household items provided - toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, etc. (If you ever had to dig through your packed bags to find a stash of toilet paper when someone says "I have to go NOW!" as you walk into the apartment, you will understand.) This little gem was perfect for our family of four. It's right off the main highways, but in a quiet neighborhood. It is a block away from campus, a 1/2 mile away from Canyon's historic downtown and about 15 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon. The water pressure was great, there were ample towels for our group and there was enough seating for all of us to enjoy watching TV or having breakfast together. The decor was updated and has a charming personality. It wasn't filled with rental property cast-offs either. We'll definitely stay there again, if we make it back to Canyon.
The property is well maintained and Meaghan is an excellent host. However, the AC only works in the one main room. The bedrooms have fans, but they are not enough to overcome the West Texas heat.
We had a wonderful stay at this adorable bungalow! I would definitely stay here again given the chance to come back to Canyon. There were plenty of clean towels, blankets and pillows to make for a nice, cozy stay during our visit. The games, books, and streaming services provided were a great touch!
