Take in unparalleled and unobstructed beach and Gulf views from your spacious wrap-around deck, which has been furnished with several beach chairs, a porch swing, a table for outdoor dining, and a convenient propane grill. This is the perfect spot for sunbathing and enjoying the views and the refreshing breeze.

Inside, this marvelous coastal gem offers an ample open floor plan with beautiful coastal decor throughout. Boasting two loveseats, an armchair, a large flatscreen TV with cable, and a handful of board games, the living area is the definition of entertaining and comfort. The adjoining full kitchen has all the appliances needed to whip up everything from full-course meals to delicious beach snacks. Let the dishwasher take care of post-meal clean up. Coffee enthusiasts will love the drip coffee maker available. The kitchen also features a breakfast bar with seating for four, while the nearby dining table seats up to six people comfortably.

There are four well-appointed bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Each bedroom has been equipped with ceiling fans and flatscreen TVs - there is a bunk bedroom, perfect for the kids! A high chair and Pack N' Play are available for the little ones. Book your vacation today!

The property manager was a call center. Not very helpful. Something needs to be done to the driveway. It flooded during a storm and we couldn’t get out.

Love!

This was the third time we have stayed at Sea the Gulf! We love it and if you want to be just steps away from the beach then this is the house for you! It’s very calming to hear the Water splashing and reminds me of being on a Cruise. When we arrived the Front Patio Door handle was completely off and I had to call about getting it fixed because we couldn’t even lock that door. They told me that someone would be calling me that day, I never heard from anyone till the next day and a Maintenance Man just showed up and came to put a whole new lock on the door. It really wasn’t an inconvenience but also we would have liked to have had a lock on that door during the night but we made it work. I have to say all three times we have stayed in this home the Wi-Fi has been hit and miss but we have always made it work for us.

Definitely recommend!

The house was clean and comfortable. The location is PERFECT! We ended up stranded after some flooding, but Vacasa was very understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Do not Rent this Unit or from Vacasa

Terrible experience -- cars got stuck in sand due to not having parking area specifically for this unit -- air conditioner dripped from ceiling so one couch was not able to be sat on -- coffee maker didn't work -- called first day about coffee and the call center answers immediately and you think your issues are being fixed...but they tell you the local team is working on it and you never hear anything else nor were the issues fixed. The Keurig pod side did not work and there was not a pot for the pot side. Had to call AAA to get cars out of sand and they were there within 30 minutes -- Vacasa offerred no assitance in any area. We discovered the unit is for sale so they may not care about the unit and getting anything fixed. No holder for silverware -- curtains hanging in an attempt to give privacy but king bedroom door doesn't close because bed is too big for room -- stereo / radio doesn't work --

Just Like The Pictures

Nice clean place, perfect placement on the island. On the windy days when water washed up under the houses further down, we still had plenty of sand in front of the house, allowing for a full day of sun. Will look to stay again.

Stunning View

The view from this home was beautiful in every direction. Because the house is at a noarrow point in the island, you can see both the bay and the gulf from the house. And you can hear the surf from every room--very relaxing. The location is really just perfect. We noticed that the deck is brand new and very safe--a great place to sit and enjoy the ocean view.

Perfect!

Great house on the west end of the island. Right. On. The. Beach. Walked down the stairs and set up a chair and tent. Lots of wildlife. Very clean and well appointed. Will definitely visit again!

Great Location, Needs some TLC

Even though our stay started out rough (weather), it was a great stay. The location of the property is great to the beach....I realize that the weather elements play a big role in how a house on the beach wears and tears. This one could be a beautiful home if it got more attention as the weather breaks it down...it was a little sad. We had a great time, got the rest and relaxation we needed. We would go back to Dauphin Island. It is off the grid...with plenty to do if you look.

Be Cautious with this Unit and Renting from Vacasa

Not a good experience -- I did research and determine that this unit is actively for sale so that may be why no one really cares about helping anyone out. This is the only unit on this street with no designated close parking to stairs -- when we pulled in, we could not tell where to park for our unit and immediately go stuck in sand...both vehicles. All other units have rocked areas to park that are close to unit. We had to call AAA to have us removed because Vacasa never responded to anything. We attempted to text them as requested and they immediately respond....but it's a call center....they are not local and the only response we received was that the local team had been notified.....Totally unacceptable. Coffee maker did not work -- it was Keurig and had pod side that would not work. Then it had a pot side...but no coffee pot! I texted first day and was told the local team was ordering a new one -- obviously...not for our stay because we never received another text or coffee maker. The vent in ceiling leaked and if you sat on loveseat, you would be wet! The radio system did not work. One of the rooms had a king size bed....but you can't close the door to the room because bed is so large -- we assumed that is why they have curtains going into bedroom areas. We were most disappointed with Vacasa and will never use them again -- they do not care about their tenants. I could go on and on but I am limited to 1500 characters! Beware of this unit and Vacasa!

Not safe for little kids

While the interior was very nice and mostly clean, the exterior decking was hazardous to children and small dogs. There are several spindles on the decking that are not attached and a child could fall off the deck if they leaned on any one those. Also the screws and nails are coming up every where - can’t go barefoot. For the cost of the rental, I was disappointed in the condition of the deck. And the stairs - railings shake and are coming apart.

Overall a pleasant stay

Overall, the stay was good. Like a few others have said, we did encounter a few roaches during our stay. Luckily, most of them were already dead so that leads me to believe they have sprayed for them. There were no cleaning supplies to be found. It would have been nice to have at the very least a multipurpose cleaner. There also is no mop, which would be handy if there are any spills. We did not have any small children, but if you do, I would make sure they do not walk on the deck without shoes. There are some nails have come up and stepping on them hurts. I know that is a common problem with these houses, a different one we stayed in last year had the same problem. Other than that, everything else was pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The wifi was surprisingly good. The customer service folks were very responsive and helpful. I do like that you are not expected to do a gazillion chores upon checkout, like you do with some rental companies!

If you want right by the water!

If you want the ocean right at your door this is the house for you. This was our second time staying in the home and we will be back! It was hit and miss with the WI-FI but we made it work for us.

Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is fantastic. You’re just a few short steps from the water and directly on the beach. House was very clean except for a couple of small issues. Well stocked with everything you could need. Beds were very comfortable. WiFi worked well. 8 people using it and it never slowed at all. This was our first time to stay at Dauphin Island and our first time booking with Vacasa. We will be back and will be looking to book this home again!

Beautiful views

The house has been updated and looks great. Wonderful location and right at the water’s edge. I think parking situation needs to be fixed. Worried about cars getting stuck in the sand. Might want to add gravel or rocks for the driveway like the other houses around there. Get groceries in the city before going to the house. Not much around if you need particular food/items. The area is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Great atmosphere! Loved this house!!
