Venez vous détendre au paradis dans cette maison nouvellement construite avec 2718 pieds carrés blottie sur les plages de Dauphin Island! Détendez-vous sur le pont couvert et confortablement meublé et respirez l'air salin frais qui est parfait pour se prélasser et regarder les dauphins jouer dans le golfe. N'oubliez pas que votre chien est également le bienvenu lors de votre visite, mais vous voudrez peut-être laver le sable dans la douche extérieure avant son entrée. Il y a un vol pour entrer, mais cette maison dispose d'un ascenseur privé qui facilite l'entrée et la sortie.

Situé directement sur les plages de sable blanc, il vous suffit de descendre les marches pour mettre vos orteils dans le sable au bord de l'eau. Vous êtes à moins de cinq kilomètres des restaurants locaux préférés comme Waves DI, Island Rainbow et plus encore! Our stay was fine. Elevator broke on day one but the service folks were very responsive and did what they could to have it operational by the time we left. By day three, we had palmetto bugs/ cockroaches roaming about the house. We did what we could to dispose of them. I guess it's to be expected when you're out on a sandy island.The house has a great view of the beach and easy access from the back porch, which was our top priority. We also brought our 2 retrievers who enjoyed the beach. The inside was bright and airy. But lacked warmth or any home-like feel. It felt like a rental with contractor-grade appliances and finishes. Nothing fancy. Nothing special. Just very standard fare. So if all you want/need are basic accommodations in a good location, then this house may be what you're looking for. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the house as well as the nearby town being void of any personality. Very generic and lacking in the little things that can make such a trip unforgettable. Not the house's fault - but this island felt more like a tourist trap than a friendly community of beach lovers who are glad to have visitors.Overall, this house was nice, which is why I gave it 4 stars. But if you factored in the additional hidden fees, taxes and surcharges that come with booking it online, I would have given it 3 stars.

The house was even better than the pictures. It was clean and well stocked. We ate all our meals on the expansive ocean front deck. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. We could easily keep an eye on our children as they played in the surf. The extra drink refrigerator, stand alone ice machine, and elevator added so much convenience. We would stay here again.

Mostly good, some bad things

Decor, location, space and cleanliness - 10/10! Broken elevator, dangerous top back steps, broken jetted tub in master and Wii gaming system controllers didn’t work - could not get ahold of anyone to help with these issues while at the house. Customer service was less than helpful or accommodating. We have been to the island every year since 2020 and this was our first experience with vacasa and this house. Definitely feel disappointed as we chose this house in part to the features that were broken.

Nightmare

Called for assistance with elevator no one came. Had to get my 89 year old mother up a flight of stairs. Next day called again someone came and said the panel did not work had to order one. One person on the phone said the would offer a $75.00 a day refund.

Whatever She Wants

The house is lovely and we loved our stay there. I suggest, for future guests, that the following be added: Grab bar in the showers, hot pads in the kitchen,table lamps in the living room, more waste baskets, bath mats, better coffee pot, and paper towel holder in the kitchen. These would make 2625 superior‼️

Beautiful beach home

We loved the view, the decks, the layout of the home and the nearness to the water. It was just off the decks which was great for watching the older kids in the water. The downstairs shower was excellent. The best I have ever seen. The mattresses were good, and the washer and dryer were excellent. Our family had a ball fishing, playing dominoes, watching the sunsets and dolphin spotting. My only complaints regard the use of the elevator which was very difficult due to a locking problem. If there is a way around this it should be explained better in the instructions. Luckily, we had no one handicapped so this was just an aggravation. The stove top only had one burner working. There is an ice maker separate from the refrigerator's ice maker which wasn't working. I didn't discover it until the second day. We had a great time at Whatever She Wants. With just a bit of updating, the place would be perfect. Would definitely book again.

Great Beach Vacation

House is just like the pictures, very spacious and payed out perfect. Big spacious kitchen with loads of pans, dishes etc. Extra refrigerator in laundry area was nice to hold beverages or extra food. Beach is right out the back door and we took full advantage. Totally enjoyed our full family vacation( 9 adults and a 3 year old). House and area is exactly what we were hoping for, very clean. We will definitely be back.

Riders on The Storm

Considering we went a major tropical storm, we absolutely loved Whatever She Wants. The home is fully stocked with everything you can think of and only 60 steps from the beach. We will definitely stay again. Vacasa was great to deal with also. We didn’t want to leave.

We love this house.

We love everything about this house. Location, parking, porch, and comfort. It has plenty of towels and fully equipped kitchen. The elevator is perfect to bring our supplies up.

Beautiful views and a fridge for your brews!

We were able to see the Milky Way from the back porch when our neighbors turned off their lights. The extra fridge is great for the cases of water, so there is plenty of space in main fridge for food. The ice maker was great. Beach toys and chairs were much appreciated. This is the second house we have stayed in on Dauphin Island, and my daughters are hoping we get the same house next year.

Great location, but elevator not functional

This house is directly on Bienville, giving it an outstanding location. It is also set back far enough from the beach to prevent getting your cars stuck in sand/flooded. We had some really strong surf during our week that resulted in cars getting stuck. I also really like the concrete pads for parking. The views are great and the house is generally well stocked. Unfortunately to the downside…when we arrived at check in time, the house was not ready. The cleaner was still working. Based on what her schedule sounded like for that day, she probably needs a pay raise! No fault of her own. Then the biggest issue was that the elevator did not work. It wouldn’t go all the way down to the first level, locking it out. We knew we probably had an issue from the get go when we went to the lockbox for the elevator key and none was there. Did they already know it wasn’t working and kept the key? We booked this house specifically for the elevator as we were traveling with my elderly mother in law who can’t navigate steps well. It’s listed in the headline of the listing as a key feature, and for it not to work was a tremendous disappointment. The follow through on resolution was not helpful either. This rental is managed by Vacasa, and you have to go through their chat service. We did have a kind gentlemen come out twice the second day to work on it with no resolution, then crickets… The people who checked in today when we left will also find the same issue.

Great Beach House on Dauphin Island

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, this is the house for you. Dauphin Island is a great place to get away and just have a daily agenda of doing nothing but enjoying the beach, and having a house like this right on the water is perfect. The elevator feature is a nice touch loading in and loading out, although it is a little finicky. I would like to see better instructions on how to use it correctly. If you do anything to mess it up, you have to reset it (turn it off and back on). The kitchen is a great size for family meals and the wraparound island is perfect for buffet style eating. Having a grill was awesome and we used it almost every day. The layout of the house is great for family getaways. It might be an improvement to have the bunk room moved to one of the bedrooms with access to the Jack and Jill bathroom and then there would basically be two master suites. Overall we loved the house and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice home needs better maintenance and elevator.

The house is very pretty, and has a great location. I thought the TV in the living room was especially nice. It's very large and has a great picture. It also allows you to stream Netflix and Amazon etc. If you have accounts.
