Redwood Basecamp

Perfect location for a family of four looking to explore the southern side of the Redwood National Park! We stayed 3 nights with highlights including: short 30 min drive to multiple trailheads inside of RNP, minimum cookware to cook dinners, fun location attached to cafe/coffee house, great restaurant located just down the street, smokehouse/fish house selling fresh seafood within a 5 minute walk and zero hassles. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location!

We enjoyed our time in Trinidad. The home was comfortable and in a fabulous location. We enjoyed the nature all around and hiked daily. We would definitely stay again. Our only disappointment was a lack of cooking pans and the ones there had to be scrubbed before using. The kitchen could use a few extra cooking utensils, sharp knives, pans and larger bowls.

Great Little Place!

This was the perfect location for us! The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Trinidad is a beautiful little gem of a town and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!

Comfortable place. Some of the most beautiful walks in the world from the door. Yard right next to town hall, which is old building so yard has wonderful charm to it.

Home away from Home

This is a sweet, quiet, and clean place to stay. We love the location behind the coffee shop. A short walk to a spectacular view of Trinidad Bay and to all things Trinidad. We would definitely book this place again.

This property was conventionally located and had a dedicated parking spot. Perfect for a stay when you will be in and out on the go!

I spent my birthday weekend at the cozy retreat and Trinidad. It was absolutely wonderful perfect for me and family and my Frenchie. We had a wonderful time. Great location just what we needed. Walking distance to everything. Great stay, we will come back

Cute cottage/apartment

Cozy apartment in Trinidad. Walking distance to grocery and beach; an easy drive to the Redwoods and Eureka. Kitchen is well outfitted, we were able to cook a couple easy meals. Beds are comfy. Only caveat is the walls are a bit thin, but the neighbors (the apartment next door and the cafe) kept any noise to reasonable hours.

We had an amazing stay in the quaint little stop! The place was nestled down a quiet street behind a cute place to eat. We loved the location and the home was perfect for our needs. Our host was helpful and we certainly would stay here again!

Amazing !

Everything was great ! We loved our stay ! My daughter loved being so close to the beach ! My girlfriend caught up on some much needed sleep. Close to all the local restaurants and gift shops . Amazing views just a 3 min walk away . We will definitely be going back !

Cozy, clean, cute!

Loved staying at this cute little apartment. It’s conveniently located, comfortable, and quiet. I really appreciated some of the details, like the heat lamp in the bathroom or the artwork. I didn’t really have to reach out to the host during the stay but she was communicative prior and left a very nice binder of helpful information. I thought that this place was very reasonably priced and plan to stay here in the future when I’m in the area for work.

Cute in law beach stay

This is a cute property connected with a cafe, surprisingly you don’t hear the cafe at all, but we slept in the room closer to the unit front door. Service is bad in most of Trinidad so just ask for parking instructions and wifi before you get there. Only complaint is the mattress in the room in the front of the unit sinks in the middle otherwise the place is warm comfortable and provided good nights rest. Walkable to restaurants, groceries, and to the beach for a gorgeous sunset

Love!

I lived in this exact apartment when I was attending Humboldt in the early ‘70s. It was a nostalgic treat to be able to stay in my beloved home of Trinidad again! The apt. Has been seriously upgraded since I lived there! It is a great combination of modern & rustic; function & decor. The electric fireplace in the bedroom is a nice touch! It is in a central town location with walking distance to restaurants, art galleries, & the charming Trinidad Winery. The coffee shop attached to the apartment has amazing coffee & breakfasts. The down side is they start their day early with lots of noise. Fortunately the bedrooms are not on that side. The beds are both comfortable, but full-size, if that matters to anyone. The kitchen has everything you might need, including extras like coffee & tea. It is right next door to the Town Hall, where events took place on 2/4 nights. The attendees can be noisy & take your clearly-designated parking space, which is annoying when returning home after dark. Overall, you will not be disappointed if you stay in this comfortable rental in the beautiful town of Trinidad.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely do it again. The unit is cozy and perfectly located. I really appreciated the many thoughtful touches—coffee filters, sugar packets, dish soap, shampoo & conditioner, olive oil & vinegar, everything we could need. We ate almost every meal at the adjacent Beachcomber and loved it! We’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the convenience/location Very nice accommodations !! There was a lot of early activity in the mornings as supplies are delivered next door. However we would definitely stay here again !!!

Great stay!

Came to see the Redwoods and ocean. Brought our dog too. Perfect location for both. It was convenient to have an electric charger it town too. Would stay here again!
