Great property. Loved views all times of the day. Hot tub nice add. Kitchen had all the basics. Some places clear out ALL spices, oils, vinegar etc making it a big shopping trip for basic meals. Would have loved a way to the small beach below. Perfect house for the 2 of us.Todd

Unique spot directly over the ocean waters

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is unique A frame cabin with bed in loft centered in room so you look out window into the waters and you are lulled to sleep by the soft action of the waves breaking onto the beach below and sliding back.....changes all day long. The hot tub at night is wonderful and the kitchen and unique redwood counter are beautiful. Cottage is otherwise well furnished.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so thrilled to return to Trinidad Retreat’s Raven House after 12 years, in celebration of my husband’s 65th birthday. The hot tub is great after a day of hiking the beautiful redwoods and the house is totally comfortable, a joy to stay in. The kitchen has everything we needed, the furniture is comfy, and the views are just lovely. We can’t wait to return, would definitely recommend this retreat!

My family of 4 loved staying here. The views were beautiful and the property is as listed. It's a short drive to Redwood National Park, which was the purpose of our visit. Will definitely book Raven House again if we're in the area!

Don’t let the outside of this home fool you - it’s ADORABLE! The inside was cute, clean and so cozy. The pics online are 100% accurate and the views overlooking into the water are amazing. The sunset was beautiful. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans etc. We also thought the bed was comfortable. We loved the location to the town and had the local supermarket near by as well as a nice stops for lunch. Perfect location for exploring Redwood National and State Parks! Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Ravenhouse! Views from the bedroom, living room and both decks are incredible and I’m going to miss waking up to the sounds of waves crashing every morning. Very comfortable bed, sheets and pillows. The hottub was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The kitchen has every utensil and appliance you will need and a nice grill on the back deck.

Most oceanfront rentals are packed in along a rim with countless others but this gem is exotically private. Sweeping view of the curved beach from every window. Sea stacks everywhere. Sunning seals every day plus a baby seal being nursed by its mother! Bring binoculars. Charming little town of Trinidad just down the hill.

Great location, but....

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the water with fantanstic views. Private and close to parks, beaches and amenities. The bathroom with shower has black mold in every corner of walls including the shower. Also The ceiling fan in that room in-operative. All 3 sliding screens to the decks were very difficult to open and close. Also rot in the floorboards on decks. The rugs in front of sofa and under the bed were filthy. The living room sofa also was covered with stains and accumulations. The kitchen lacked adequate silverware. The house could use a deep clean, cobwebs, dirty windows and spider poop. It was very disappointing that the propery hasn't been maintained. It's such a lovely house on the water. If I were to recommend this property to friend, I would give them all the above information.

This was a perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriends birthday. The view was amazing and it was great to hear the waves and buoys. The recommended restaurant where a life saver because we had no clue where anything was. Overall 10 out 10.
