Beautiful Bayfront home with 4 bedrooms and amazing views!

Come prepared for relaxation in this spacious bayfront Dock Holiday on the East End of St. George Island, just outside the Julian G Bruce State Park! Gorgeous views of the Apalachicola Bay and St. George Sound from almost every room invite you to let your cares go in this 3 bedroom plus a 4th loft bedroom, 2 bath home. The large, well furnished, screened porch is perfect for enjoying fresh morning coffee or an evening iced beverage, a good book, family games, or catching up with old friends. An open deck provides sun and a splash of vitamin D.

The main level of Dock Holiday offers an open floor plan with a modern, well-appointed kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas to enjoy family and friends while preparing the day's catch. A wall of windows in the living area offers stunning bay views from the living, dining and kitchen areas. A large flat screen TV is in the living area for family movie night. Also on the main level is the large master suite with king size bed, views of the bay, a flat screen TV, as well as an electric fireplace for those chilly winter evenings, and access to the screened porch. A convenient half bath is located off the foyer. The master bedroom bath has a double vanity and walk-in shower. Also on the main level are a bedroom with a queen size bed, flat screen TV and views of the bay, as well as a 3rd bedroom with 2 full size beds and a flat screen TV. A convenient common full bath with double vanity sits between these two bedrooms. The laundry closet with full size washer and dryer is on this level.

A 4th loft bedroom is upstairs with 3 twin beds and views of the bay.

Its all about the outdoors on St. George Island! An outdoor shower is under the house, as well as a fish cleaning sink. Dock Holiday's private dock extends 498' over the St. George Sound offering countless hours of fishing and relaxing while taking in the stunning views. 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards are provided. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach cart in guest storage area.

Fabulous Holidays at Dock Holiday ❤️

Dock Holiday is beyond amazing Everything you’d want in a vacation home. Secluded beautiful setting on the bay only a very short walk across the street to the beach. The property manager, Roxanne, and her staff are fabulous and attend to every detail. This home is kept cleaner and more well supplied than any we have ever rented in our 14 winters on SGI. Dock Holiday has become our dream home. Love fishing from the fabulous long pier and our kayak, BBQing on the huge nicely furnished deck overlooking the bay or relaxing on the beautifully furnished screened in area. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this home

Fabulous property!

We absolutely loved our stay!! We arrived late & the property management company had the lights on for us. Everything about the property is amazing! The house is beautiful, the dock is amazing with a view of the most magnificent sunsets, the back porch view of the bay is beyond peaceful, and we walked a short walk to the beach every day! We can’t say anything but great things about our experience with this property!

There are not enough words to say how wonderful our stays at Dock Holiday have been.

Dock Holiday, under the fantastic management of Roxanne, provided everything we needed to give us a dream vacation. The home is spotless, the amenities perfect, the view incredible and the tucked in the woods on the bay privacy so totally relaxing. When we win the lottery it will be rented by us year round.

St. George First Timers

We had a great stay. Roxanne the Property Manager was great and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and bikes. The weather could have cooperated a bit more, but that was no one's fault. Great vacation!

Amazing!

We had a great stay at Dock Holiday! This family friendly home is beautiful and has a wonderful view of the bay. Its private dock is very long and and is a great place to watch sunsets. The location is great with the beach being just across the road and the state park is very close. We enjoyed the large screen porch from morning to night...was great seeing bald eagles and hearing the sound of the ocean waves. We thank the owners for taking good care of the home and Roxanne was wonderful to work with. One thing is for sure, we already miss Dock Holiday and hope to return!

Dock Holiday winter

This was our first opportunity to stay on the bay side. We were blown away, not only by beautiful Dock Holiday, but also the beauty of the bay side. The views all day, but especially the sunsets were spectacular. We marveled at the wild life. We were thrilled to watch a pair of eagles sun themselves atop a tree right outside the house. The home, the location and working with Roxanne, made for a wonderful experience. Dock Holiday has the most comfortable beds! The yard is lovely, full of trees. The long dock is a fisherman's dream. We loved staying here, would love to stay here again, and highly recommend it for your vacation.

The relaxing vacation we needed!

We stayed at the Dock Holiday house. Our experience from start to finished was great! Roxanne communicated with us so clearly from the moment we booked. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow. We especially liked the suggestions on what we would need for our stay. The Dock Holiday house and St. George Island was everything we wanted it to be. A peaceful, relaxing getaway. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make us feel like we were in our own home. We loved going out on the deck and walking the long dock to watch the sunrise and sunsets. I highly recommend the Dock Holiday house. Thank you Roxanne for all your help!

Perfect!

The house is beautiful and has everything that is needed! Our teenagers had so much fun with the kayaks and paddleboards and we even got lucky fishing right off our own dock (trout and blue crabs!) The beach is right across the street. The views from the living room/kitchen area are amazing! Roxanne was a pleasure to work with and lives close by. We had a problem with the hot water and she came over to address the problem. The is so much space around the house as well from the front to the backyard. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful place—felt right at home.

Our family had a fabulous week at Dock Holiday. Everything about the house and the booking process was convenient and easy. Loved the little touches like beach towels, the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards that came with the house. Our air conditioner stopped working the first night we were there and we called first thing the next morning. The maintenance guy had it fixed before noon. The starter supplies of paper towels, soap, toilet paper, dish washing and laundry supplies made it so much easier for packing. The house is beautiful and family friendly with large tables in the dining room and on the patio for family meals. The screened porch was one of our favorite spots every day. The young adults enjoyed the fire pit and we all enjoyed the view and the awesome dock. Cant say enough good about this place.

Couldn’t ask for a better house to stay in..

If your looking for the perfect house to stay in on your vacation, look no further.. This one has everything you could imagine.. The home itself has everything plus a great view of the bay from the living room/kitchen. The screen in porch is where I spent every morning enjoying my coffee and every evening with my glass of wine/ watching the sunset!!!! Couldn’t ask for anything better.. If you are a fisherman, you will be in heaven with the long private dock.. Beautiful place to enjoy the Sunset also!! Great place if you have a dog or kids that enjoys to Water, with the Bay/small beach area was a plus.. The kayaks, paddle boards and bikes were also there for your use too… Beach being across the street was a plus also… Couldn’t talk about how great this house is without mentioning Roxanne, the owners of this place is so Lucky to have her taking care of their home, she is the best.. She not only responded to our questions before arriving but made sure we were good with everything after arriving… 10 out of 10 on this one!!!!!

Peaceful stay at Dock Holiday

Dock holiday is beautiful and sits directly on the bay. There is plenty of room for 10 people. The beach is close, but the public beach access is a tiny path that is covered in sea vines and brush, making it challenging to carry beach items. If you can make it on the path, the beach is beautiful. Dock Holiday had all of the amenities you might need. The house was ready on arrival. Roxanne was great, even connected us with local fishermen who delivered shrimp! Roxanne was also very easy to communicate with. We will definitely use Go SGI again!

Fantastic Spoiled us.

GO SGI Vacation Properties did a fabulous job of Making our stay at Doc Holidays perfect. Roxanne the property manager did a Fantastic job. We arrived Christmas Eve to below freezing temperatures which had frozen the outdoor shower and She was out immediately to see it was fixed. The home and everything in it was immaculate and so well equipped. Thanks to GoSGI, Roxanne and the owners of Dock Holidays for making our stay a dream come true. We’d love to come back.

Peaceful bay front sanctuary

Secluded stilted house on the bay with private pier. The house had a well stocked kitchen as far as appliances. There are no spices , but a good supply of paper products. The beds are adequate in comfort and porches had a beautiful view of the bay. Properties nearby are not too close and the quiet tranquility was experienced throughout the day and into the evening. Close to state park for awesome fishing. Kayaks, paddle boards and bikes in fair to good condition. Had a wonderful stay with good friends. Highly recommend.

Love this house!

Six adults for 9/25-10/2/2021. I have stayed in many homes on SGI over the past few years, both on the beach and bay. This by far is the best house of all of the. First of all Roxanne is a joy to work with, she is friendly and wants you to be happy with your stay. The house is beautiful inside and out and the dock is a great place to fish and watch the sun set. When the tide is out, the beach area is great for sitting and shelling. The living room had lots of comfortable seating and the kitchen is well equipped. We used the kayaks and had a blast paddling around the bay area. They provide paddles and life jackets. Our little fuzz babies enjoyed it too. I would have liked to use the fire pit but just ran out of time. We loved it so much, I have reserved it for a month next fall 2022!!

Stunning view!

We booked Doc Holiday last minute for Labor Day weekend. We usually stay Gulf side but we are so happy we booked bayside this trip. The home was spacious and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We took advantage of the kayak and the bikes. Not having to pack beach towels or buy trash bags, dish soap, soap, toilet paper or paper towels is always a plus! The home was spotless from top to bottom! But the best thing about this home was the amazing view of the bay. The dock went so far out that you would get lost in the beauty around you. Sunsets from the dock are stunning! Drinking coffee on the screened in patio was serene as you sat listening to nature. Roxanne, the property manager, was so helpful and made a few exceptions for us. Don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions. She is great with communication! You can tell she takes pride in her job. We have been to the island 7 times now and Roxanne has been the best property manager to work with.

Great vacation home

We really enjoyed our stay at Dock Holiday. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed with lots of extras that our family really enjoyed. The bicycles, kayaks, beach towels, the short walk to the beach, and the long dock for fishing made this the perfect house. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend GO SGI Properties and Roxanne for being so helpful and making the rental process easy.

Hands down best house we have rented on St. George...Rented 3 years in a roll

This house is really nice and if you like to fish you can't beat it with the long dock on the bay and you can walk across the street to fish the surf. We caught Pompano on the surf and caught flounder, redfish, sea trout, stingray and catfish on the bay side. The house is fully furnished with anything you could ask for. The only thing we can complain about is having to leave.

Fantastic!

Loved Dock Holiday! It was just beautiful and everything was as in the pictures. Kitchen was stocked like home. Beds were comfy and sheets soft. It was truly a wonderful getaway. Roxanne was amazing to work with. We can only give the highest recommendation.

Love the house not the beds

We absolutely love this house.Its in a good location close to park. If there is a negative it is the beds. Not comfortable at all and squeak something awful, other than that house is very nice. A fish cleaning station with water would be great also. Thanks
