Comfortable beach home located right across from the beach with direct access. Features include; 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, large sundeck overlooking the beach, fish cleaning sink and more. Amenities: 2 Cable TV's, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, Outside Shower, Grill and more.

40th anniversary

My husband and I took a quick trip to SGI for our anniversary. We needed it to be pet friendly and also wanted to be able to rent a golf cart to putter around. Windjammer was perfect for us and just a short walk to the beach.

Great house full of fun art just steps from the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house, and hope to rent it again! The art throughout the house, much of it by the owner's mother, was great -- love the blues! Nice front porch with Gulf view, short walk to the beach, and also close to the NERR property on the bayside. It was too stormy to swim on this trip, but appreciated that there's an outdoor shower!

Great Place to Vacation

Reviewer Comments: very nice accommodations, beautiful deck to enjoy the sun, awesome outdoor shower with hot and cold water, interior provided plenty of space to relax, great couch for naps, frig with ice maker, air conditioner that works perfectly. Lower level beneath the deck to hang clothes and get out of the rain including a swing and fish cleaning station, nice little laundry room with large table to fold clothes. Short walk ( 200 feet) across the dunes to the beach. Really enjoyed the place.

Windjammer weekend

Looking for a 2 night stay on St George Island, FL via VRBO I was surprised at how expensive the rates are for this time of year. Windjammer is in a good location. It’s a fairly old house across the street from beach front. Furnishings are old and showing signs of wear. Soiled arms on upholstered chairs. Kitchen floor has some weak spots you can feel when walking on it. Woodwork could use cleaning and some paint. Had some really good food at local restaurants - Paddy’s, Filling Station, Lynn’s and Hole in the Wall. It’s a shame the real Apalachicola Oysters are no longer available .

The deck is large with a great view of the gulf. The location is wonderful. Cross the street and follow the short path to the beach. Suncoast is professional and very easy to deal with. Elderly College Girls Hit The Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property could use some updates and the floor in the kitchen in front of the refrigerator needs some structural attention. Some written directions how to use the TV in the living area would be helpful for those who do not have cable tv. The cottage sleeps 8 but even parking 4 cars is a stretch. There is plenty of land just needs clearing.

Nice beach location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can’t beat the price ,location, and beach access. A+++. Could use some new couches. Beds were comfy and Air conditioner was very cold. Every bedroom had a ceiling fan. The house is laid out very well and we had plenty of room to hangout together. The major complaint I had was the front door was very hard to shut and stay shut and we had a toddler staying with us so that caused panic at times. The dishwasher heating element needs repaired. Bring extra towels you are given 1 bath , 1 wash rag, and 1 hand towel per person . There were plenty of cooking ware and dishes. We really enjoyed the deck at night looking at the stars it was fabulous.
