Your one stop shop for where you want to be when visiting Bardstown Kentucky. A few minutes from amazing restaurants, several distilleries, bars, shops, golf and all the local events for downtown Bardstown. Are you here to see the distilleries? All of the distilleries are just a short drive from this beautiful modern, rustic styled home. Seeing most of or all of them is very doable with this very central location. Finally we are less than half a mile away from "My Old Kentucky Dinner Train." Hope to see you soon!

Check in went smoothly and there were no issues. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Loved that coffee was provided!

Call me Old Fashion

Nice home in Bardstown, very close to downtown shopping & dining. Beautifully updated property, however the cleaning crew are not up to par, not a terrible job, but lots of little things were left undone. Water bottle left on kichen counter, water bottle & candy wrappers unders under double beds & lits of cobwebs in the rec room.

Perfect weekend bungalow

Very comfortable and welcoming accommodation for our party of six to enjoy Bourbon Country from. Perfectly walkable to Bardstown’s lovely downtown.

Perfect Bardstown Trip

The property was in a fantastic location and had every amenity we could need. There was even a putting mat and darts in the garage to keep us entertained which was a great surprise. We would definitely stay again and have zero complaints about anything!

This is a great house with lots of amenities and the hosts were also great! We would've stayed longer if we could. If we are ever back in this area we would love to stay here again.

Bardstown Bourbon Trip

Our family of 8 stayed for 4 nights and this house is super cute! Updated and very clean. Plenty of room with an unexpected man-cave in garage! Plenty of extra linens and even though we did not cook much had the necessities needed. One more full bathroom would have been nice, but the extra 1/2 bath on main level helped out. Would stay again for sure!

Great place to stay

This property was wonderful. High-end finishes and very well stocked with everything we needed. Good location, but close to a train crossing ... we heard the very loud horn early in the morning. But that is not a reflection on the hosts. They were very easy to communicate with. The only downside was the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner ... but again, I attribute that to the cleaners, not the hosts. I highly recommend this house and I would definitely stay here again!

Bourbon getaway

Had a great time in Bardstown! The property is so close to distilleries and food on the Bourbon Trail. The house had everything you need and was very comfortable for 3 couples. Cleanliness is very important to us, and the property was very clean & comfortable. Will be back for sure! Chuck

Great stay!

Very nice place. Very well appointed and easy walking distance to the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. Host was great everything from check in the check out was seamless. Would definitely stay again!

The Best in Bardstown

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about "Call Me Old Fashioned". High end finishes, clean, well renovated, and a great size for a group of around 8-10. High end bedding, memory foam mattresses, and cool hangout spaces including a finished garage area make this house excellent for adults or children. The management team was very responsive to questions and sent detailed check in and out instructions. Within walking distance to downtown (10 minute walk). If I am ever in Bardstown again I will 100% be staying in this house.

We loved this property. It was perfect for us, three couples. It was a little rainy on our weekend so didn’t get a chance to walk into town but loved how close we were to everything.

Wonderful Getaway for all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Call Me Old Fashioned. The property is in a great location, perfect for those that wanted to do the Bourbon Trail and great for those who wanted to go shopping or visit wineries. Very close to downtown, which was convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful family stay

Beautiful house in a quiet yet fun town. Lots of things to do nearby. Even enjoyed a family run at the annual turkey trot. Owner was very easy to work with and super responsive. Realized our first evening, pretty late at night that the pot was missing to the coffee pot, and alerted the owner. A new coffee maker was on the doorstep just in time for making coffee in the morning! Thank you Ben! We will be back!

Bourbon tasting week with Friends

Call Me Old Fashioned was well located to Bardstown and all the distilleries in the area. We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The property was clean and well appointed and easily fit our group of 7.

Almost perfect rental but for one issue

This would have been a solid 5 star review but for the terribly uncomfortable trundle bed in the 4th bedroom. The mattresses were not the problem, but the bed frame was so unstable that every time my husband moved even a little, it would jiggle and squeak like he was sleeping in a metal hammock, and not in a good way. If anyone is staying there with 3 couples it will be perfect for you or if you are more than 6 people where 2 couples are comfortable sharing a bedroom this will not be a problem. Other than this problem the house was perfect!

Immaculate property! Great location! Love this house!

There is absolutely nothing negative you can say about this property. I can’t compliment the owners enough on what they have accomplished with this house. Everything is well thought out. Didn’t need to bring extra of anything. Beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Great location. Would definitely love to stay here again. Brief Bourbon Trail Visit

Spent two nights in this property. Two couples/four adults. Super clean, fresh accommodations. Withing 3-5 min drive from downtown area and many places to have dinner or drink. Bardstown offered several distillery options and put us in a location to visit Lexington, Danville, Louisville, Frankfort and many other distillery options. Very pleased.
