White Dog Lodge by Stylish Stay is built for people who love bourbon, good company, and a place big enough to actually spread out. Guests have booked it for milestone birthdays, bachelor weekends, and multi-generational family reunions, and the layout works for all three: six bedrooms across three levels give everyone their own corner, while the bourbon room, game barn, pool, and fire pit give the whole group somewhere to come back together. Past guests keep coming back for the same reason: game nights that run late, s'mores by the fire, and grandkids pulling fish out of the stocked pond.



🥃 Bourbon & Cigar Room

It's the room reviewers mention most. Leather chairs, vintage decor, and a poker table that's hosted more than one all-night game. Bourbon and cigars are the only spot on property where smoking is allowed, so the rest of the house and grounds stay smoke-free. Bring your own bottle and cigars, we don't provide them.



🎱 Game Room & Sports Bar

The second outbuilding is a full sports bar and game room, climate-controlled year round: three flat-screen TVs, a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, foosball, and classic arcade games including Golden Tee. One group timed their stay around the Masters and watched every round here. It's the spot for the big game or a long night of friendly competition.

The main house centers on an open-concept living and dining space with soaring vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace surround. Guests often name the rocking chairs on the wraparound deck as their favorite spot, a slow morning coffee or an evening bourbon with a view of the pasture.



🍳 Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is fully stocked for a group: cookware, dishes, a dishwasher, and a stocked coffee bar to get everyone moving in the morning. The dining table and covered porch both seat a crowd, so cooking in and eating together is easy.



🛏️ Sleeping Accommodations

Six bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests. Main level: a king with an en suite bath, and a second king sharing the hall bath. Upstairs: two rooms with two queens each, sharing a hall bath. Basement: two more king rooms sharing a hall bath.

Four full bathrooms and two half baths, one in each outbuilding, so nobody is waiting in line after a day at the distilleries.



🌲 Outdoor Spaces

Six private acres with a pool open seasonally, April through September, and a hot tub open all year. The fire pit under string lights is the evening gathering spot, and the stocked pond has become a favorite with visiting grandkids, more than one review calls it a trip highlight. Don't be surprised if the neighbor's dog Phil wanders by to say hello. Guests love him almost as much as the game room.

White Dog Lodge sits directly on the Bourbon Trail, about 15 minutes from Bardstown and its distilleries, restaurants, and antique shops. Louisville International Airport is about 45 minutes away. Willett, Heaven Hill, and Maker's Mark are all within easy reach for a day of tastings, and Kentucky's horse country is close by if you'd rather spend a day outside the trail.



📋 Policies & Logistics

Check-in is after 4 PM and checkout is before 10 AM, with self check-in on a smart lock so you can come and go on your own schedule. Early check-in and late checkout can be arranged for a fee, just ask ahead. No pets. A security deposit hold is placed a few days before arrival and released after checkout if the house rules are followed and there is no damage.

* No pets allowed. $250 fee if violated.

* Wildlife: You may see farm animals like roaming dogs or cats. These are not part of the property—please do not feed or approach.

* Security Deposit Hold: A credit card hold is placed 2 days before check-in via our third-party system (outside Airbnb). It’s released 3 days after checkout if house rules are followed and no damage occurs.

Food, alcohol, and cigars are not provided. Guests must bring their own.
