Contrairement à la plupart des propriétaires à Sugar Beach Resort, notre famille vit à Kihei et nous faisons un point de contrôle de l'appartement avant votre arrivée pour vous assurer qu'il est en très bon état.

We had a great stay. The condo was very nice, just steps away from beach access, with all the necessary amenities and a very comfortable bed.The property is very well maintained.The only downside is the roosters, which start crowing at around 3-4a.m. and don’t stop until about 7 a.m., and they can be quite disruptive at night.

The condo was a perfect base for our family trip to Maui. The location was so convenient to all the activities on the island. We loved being right on the beach, particularly being able to walk each morning to the bake shop to get fresh malasadas. The provided beach equipment was so helpful. The host was communicative and check in and out was easy. We will hopefully return!

It was our first time to hawaii and sugar beach was a great spot to stay, though we found ourselves driving to lots of other beaches for day trips.

This unit at Sugar Beach Resort is exactly what we needed. It was clean, well-stocked, remodeled, and full of appreciated details like boogie boards, books, chairs, a cooler, and laundry detergent. The walk to the hot tub, pool, and beach was short and eaay. We liked the little bar and sandwich restaurant on the property as well. The location was perfect for traveling different places and we didn't have to deal with lots of traffic or crowds. Cara, the rental manager, was helpful and always responded promptly when I reached out. We would definitely recommend this unit and will book again!

Perfect Vacation

Sugar beach resort was wonderful. The condo was well cared for and was steps from the pool and beach. Need a snack? Walk 15 steps to Dina’s sandwich shop! Our 6 year old daughter made so many friends throughout our stay which made our vacation even more relaxing :) We will be back!

Great Condo on Maui

We had a great time at this condo. Nice pool, nice beach and great body boarding. It has all the everything you need and is on the bottom floor which was great. The inside of the condo was beautiful and had a lot of attention to details which made it feel like home. It was located close to stores, restuarants and all the major attractions. Would definity go back.

Family vacation at Sugar Beach #104

This was the perfect situation for me and my family of 4. We had an infant and toddler staying with us, so having a ground level unit was ideal moving about the property. Plenty of space in the living room for a travel crib and utilizing the pull out bed, when needed. Definitely recommend and will book this home again on our next trip.

Beautiful week in paradise!

We were so impressed by Cara’s responsiveness and hospitality. She accommodated us when our flights changed last minute. The condo was clean and had everything we needed, just as described in the listing. We loved being so close to the beach and met lots of very friendly people and young families. The bed was super comfy! Truly can’t find anything to complain about, simply a wonderful place to enjoy beautiful Maui!

The property was perfect for a mother & daughter vacation. So many beaches near by, easy access to explore the island and close to Kihei without being in the busiest part of town. First impression when walking in. I felt like I was home. Very cozy. The property is nice. Every morning there are workers cleaning which you know the property is well taken care off and a safe place. I definitely recommend it! I would book again in the future! Thank you Cara!

We traveled here with family for on Maui for 1 week. We were so glad when we walked into our Condo to see how lovely it was set up. The bed was so comfortable and of course the views are just beautiful. The owners who are very accommodating . The grounds keepers do such a fantastic job of keeping the whole property looking outstanding. We look so forward to coming back as soon as we can .

To be clear, our condo has a lovely view of the courtyard, but does not have the sweeping ocean view other front-row condos have. Our family loves soaking in the ocean view from the saltwater pool area.

Great stay in Sugar Beach

Very clean and nice one bedroom, with a really well equipped kitchen. The kitchen really had everything we could need from cooking equipment to spices - much appreciated! The rest of the condo was super clean, lovely furniture. Easy access to the pool and ocean (key with a kiddo in tow). The bathrooms in all the condos at sugar beach resort are small, but this one is well ventilated (definitely follow the rules they post when doing laundry). Cara was communicative and helpful before our trip, and if we ever go back to Maui/Sugar Beach Resort we would book again!

Great Maui Experience

My wife and I stayed for six nights in this condo. It was very clean and comfortable. Great proximity to the pool and the beach. That made our stay easy and relaxing. Well equipped for beach and other Maui excursions, there were chairs and a cooler available for guests to use. Centrally located and easy to get to the Harbor, Haleakala, Kihei, and west Maui, (which we avoided because of the fire disaster). It is also close to amenities available right at the resort. Sugar Beach Resort employees were very helpful and pleasant, always helping when we had questions. The condo was stocked well for cooking and entertainment such as DVDs and Books to read at the beach. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

Lovely Property

The property is lovely and well kept. This property is conveniently located; it’s easy to get anywhere on the island from here. The place is clean, nicely kept and has many items needed for the kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, utilities and storage containers. My reason for 4 vs 5 stars is the bed and pillows. They are not very comfortable. A better quality mattress and pillows would bring this place to the next level. I will say the sheets are very soft and comfy. The shower head is quite low. Me and my husband are not overly tall but had issues fitting under it. The ease of access to the beach and pool is great. A very short walk and your right on the beach. The owners are easy to reach and throughly communicated through the process, reservation, pre arrive and arrive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient location to stay in Maui.

Never going back to the big resorts!

This is a great location. Right in the middle of all towns in Maui. Extremely satisfied with the experience of not staying in a bigger resort as always. Great to be able to relax with less people around. Not to feel hurried, or breathing down someone's back. The condo was great for two of us, wonderful to have been able to cook whatever meals we wanted. The patio area is great for breakfast. We totally enjoyed the beach (everyday)that was ever so close as well as the clean pool area . A short walk to a store as well as to the farmers market & some great shaved ice. We were 12-15 miles away from most attractions going either way. A car is a must have but free parking was available. We did so much as well as relax in front of a nice tv with Netflix. All the comforts of home. Thank you Cara! We appreciate you sharing this condo. P.S. just add more towels in your bathroom area :)

Aloha! We are former West Coast dairy farmers who vacationed annually in sunny Kihei (South Maui) from 2004-2009. In 2010 we sold the farm and immigrated to Hawaii. We invested in four vacation rental condos that first year and have been vacation renting on Maui ever since.

Cara grew up in Austria and is passionate about baked goods and coffee. She has a business degree from the University of Calgary, but left her budding big city career in 2001 to join Sig on his dairy farm along the West Coast. She is your main point of contact through the booking process, researching your stay (ask about her blog for trip ideas!) and communicating throughout your stay.

Sig grew up in BC, Canada with a passion for dairy-farming. To this date he subscribes to dairy publications and enjoys going to trade shows, keeping up with advancements in the dairy industry. For many years our farm had one of the top-producing dairy herds in Western Canada working in close partnership with our animal nutritionist and veterinarian (no rBST). He brings his attention to detail and perfectionism to the condos and handles most of our maintenance needs (and all those remodels we’ve done over the years). He checks our condos prior to every check-in, ensuring they are in top condition from both a cleaning and maintenance standpoint.

We hope to welcome you to Maui soon! We know you will enjoy your stay in any of our beautiful, well-appointed Maui oceanview condos.
