We find the place comfortable and relaxing. We especially enjoy the heated pool which is in a beautifully landscaped private setting, including a waterfall fountain. The hosts are kind, accommodating, and responsive to needs. We look forward to future visits.
Barn was very cute and clean. Nice location to explore the Russian River. My adult son joined us for a day and we really enjoyed the pool and surroundings of the yard. He is talking about wanting to return. Sal was personable and welcoming.
My wife and myself really enjoyed our stay. The converted barn was full of rustic charm. It was well situated for exploring that part of California. The pool area was super relaxing. Sal and his wife are very friendly and excellent hosts. Thankyou for the fruit, much appreciated.5*****
We lived this place. Itâs perfectly located close to Guerneville, Russian River, Occidental, Monte Rio, etc. Everywhere you want to go for your Russian River vacation. Itâs so close to the center of Forestville your a 1 min drive to Momâs Pies and 3 min from Sonoma Pizza Co. The place was extremely cozy with lots of charming wood fixtures and vintage kitchen appliances. The bed was very comfortable with air conditioning in the room. The heated pool was a big plus! It was perfect for a soak after a long hot day. I would absolutely stay here again. Sal was easy to get I. Touch with and would immediately respond to texts. Him and Lynn were gracias hosts! And the friendly cats were a bonus!
Sal was always available to answer questions Barn is very cute, many decorations Had plenty of dishes and cookware. Get salt if you plan to cook!Pool was heated and comfortable
112 year old converted barn: Great location, kind owners, eccentric layout
Strengths: nice pool, responsive owners and plenty of space for an excellent price
Weakness: âhalf bathroomâ upstairs is only a toilet with no sink and saloon doors filling the middle half of the doorframe; so no privacy and no ability to wash your hands. The stairs up to the bedroom are small steep steps, so not great for bad knees or frequent trips. Dim lighting inside.
The price allowed us to stay for a full week and the surroundings were pleasant. Even the limitations we had a great time.
This cute converted barn was cozy and perfect for me. I wanted to have a quiet relaxing few days and just swim. It had all the amenities of home. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning too. The pool was heaven, the water was so silky fresh without that heavy chlorine smell and very well kept. I love this place and highly recommend for a relaxing cozy stay. I will definitely return!
We loved relaxing by the pool! Very nice! The bed was quite comfortable and the shower was good. The smell of diesel (?) was kind of bothersome. A few things were lacking - a better ironing board (we were there for a wedding), a blow dryer, and better outlets would have helped a lot.
Well-maintained property in the heart of West Sonoma County, close to many different attractions. The house has a lovely swimming pool and yard. Highly recommend!
Staying at this lovely converted barn was "so comfortable and pleasant. List of our favorites: comfy beds, swimming pool, washer and dryer, hot water shower, convenient location for exploring. Cabin style with lots of comfort.
This was the perfect getaway! Everything from the fireplace to the cozy kitchen made for such a sweet stay; it was lovely to get to sit by the pool at night and look at the stars. This place was super conveniently located to everything we needed and we loved the friendly cat on the property.
Picked the place for price and proximity to Forestville Club and were not disappointed. Unfortunately its not very walkable unless you are in town but that is not the owners fault. Lots of amenities in the barn and well equipped kitchen.
We came up for a Halloween party, and was my first time staying at this location. The house is quaint, cozy and rustic but well appointed with essentials for a getaway trip.
The host, Sal, was very friendly and greeted us at check in. The process could not have been easier. Access to the pool is a great perk too!
I definitely will stay here again!

We stayed for a week while there for business/pleasure. Our hosts were very nice and we lacked nothing. Even though it was a bit colder than the previous week we were able to get a swim in the heated pool. We would definitely come again.
