KITCHEN & DINING

The modern kitchen has all the gadgets you might need including all stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for three. Call your crew to the six-person dinner table and enjoy a family-style feast together.

This single-story home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.

The spacious primary bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom offers a full-size bed and sunny windows, while the third bedroom provides another full-size bed and a desk.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

A glass door leading to the deck floods the room with light. Step out to take in the pine-fresh air, and enjoy the sunset while grilling dinner on the barbecue.

Lovely place in the winter

Cozy, comfortable, great location and plenty of room. Our family got sick, so a trip planned on the slopes turned into lounging around the cabin. However, with the great kitchen, couches, and entertainment, plus snow to play with in the yard in short burts, everyone had a great time.

Vacation house for family of 5

Great house for family of 5 in convenient location. Kitchen fully equipped with anything you need as well as extra linens, towels, toilet paper readily available. The biggest negative is the lack of hot water for showering. Water stays hot for one shower at a time. Also the water pressure in master shower is actually too strong (may be a reason the hot water runs out so fast), it is almost painful hitting your face or a sunburnt body. Cannot adjust pressure. House stayed warm at night about 80 degrees for our stay in June and small box fans supplied did help although ceiling fans would be more beneficial throughout the home. Lastly, we were very disappointed that the Tahoe Donner pool that there are passes for with your stay was not open while we were there for a summer vacation! Pool did not open until June 19 which is late for the summer season.

70th Anniversary Stay

Third time renting this Tahoe Donner home! Celebrating parents 70th wedding anniversary, this home is one level and great for seniors. Clean and very comfortable. Home has everything you need for an enjoyable weekend celebrating family!

Excellent house...almost 5 star

This house gets a 5-star rating for comfort, quality, and location. Kitchen was well equipped with gas stove, nice refrigerator, and good cooking pots, knives, etc., Beds were super comfy and master bedroom bathroom is upgraded and large with double shower. The second bathroom is small and nothing special but clean with good water pressure and heat. This property would be a 5-star rating; however, WIFI and TV are not reliable and dealing any issues was very difficult...via text only.

Love the location

Perfect Property, and located in the right location near local shopping (ie Safeway). The property looks just like the pictures. It was extremely clean, and had plenty of towel, and blankets. Property management was very attentive, and checked in to see if we needed anything via text. I will definitely recommend and rent this property again. Thanks for making our staycation pleasant.

Snow Vacation

Really great house. My husband and I went with our 2 children ages 5 & 7. We loved how quickly they came to fix some broken fire alarms. Guest passes were included for discount to the Tahoe Donner snow play. We loved it and would go back!

Fix the door

Front door code did not work on two different nights. Had to be reset by Turnkey and still did not work. Had to use a physical key from the lockbox. No propane for the BBQ for the first night. Broiler in stove kept cutting out. TV instructions incomplete. Turnkey needs to have everything ready to go upon arrival.

wonderful long term stay

The property was clean, well stocked, great location and TurnKey was super responsive whenever we needed something. I really appreciate how well stocked the kitchen was - it made it very easy to cook and enjoy meals with our family. We loved the cozy family room and stargazing on the deck. I loved the location and how easy it was to head out on a hike or a beautiful walk through the neighborhood. We would definitely book this house again in the future!

Second Time and Will be Back

Great property, especially when you have a senior with you! All one floor and accessible. Brought my 80+ year old mom and she was quite comfortable. My teen son was happy as the property has wifi. This property has everything you could want, including great wine glasses! We love Tahoe Donner and it's great facilities for both winter and summer fun. We will be returning and booking this property.

Great for a short weekend or a long week

Property was excellent and our stay was wonderful. The house is well maintained and you can tell it's cared for and loved. It felt to us like staying at a friend's house for the weekend. Couldn't recommend this home more highly.

Bummer

Our trip was cut short due to severe winter storm. I have never purchased travel insurance before. This will change my future plans. We only stayed 1 of 3 nights. Total bummer, but I didn’t want to risk our safety. Otherwise the house was nice and the location was suitable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, we enjoyed the guest passes for the rec center, and we liked the tv/movie options for the evenings. We had mostly everything we needed, but we've stayed places that had better stocked kitchens- we had to go out and get a new scrub/sponge for dishes, paper towels (we were provided with much less than a quarter of a roll), and dishwasher soap. Also, we were disappointed the deck was full of snow. We understand it is winter, but it would have been nice to be able to use the deck in the afternoons for après-ski since it was so sunny and on the warmer side.

Clean, convenient, comfortable

Having rented numerous VRBO properties over the years, this one felt a bit different - but in a good way. Most notable was the frequent and clear communication from the management company. They had a 24/7 phone line to address any issues that might come up. for example, we couldn't get the Wifi to work when we first arrived, but a call on a Sunday night received a prompt response and the issue was addressed in less than five minutes. The property appears to be used largely for rental stays, in so far as the amenities and furnishings appear similar to what one might find in a higher quality hotel room. Nonetheless, the property manages to maintain a 'cozy' feeling, appropriate to what one would want from a 4 - 5 days ski retreat. The property was impeccable upon arrival, easy to find, and easy to gain entry to - again, thanks to frequent communication from the management company. Could definitely recommend for a family of up to 6 people.

If I had any concerns I just texted a number and they were very receptive. My family of 5 stayed with my sister in law. The house fit us fine. House is smaller than what we are used to but much more spacious than a hotel in the are. The kitchen had most of everything we needed. Pots, knives were cuisinart. All good appliances. Heater worked well. I would definitely stay here again. I bet itsbwitifuk in the summer mo the. We stayed in the winter months. My only issue is that we spent a lot of time in Tahoe city. I should have stayed closer to the Lake. But that was my fault. I knew exactly how the far theblocation was from the Lake but I still booked.

Cozy with everything you need

I stayed at this property with my husband, three daughters, and sister in law. It was a good size for us. Nothing to big but not small where we felt uncomfortable. We spent most meals in. We cooked breakfast and dinner and the house offered all we needed. It did not have a rice cooker but no problem at all. Everything was very modern and a lot of kitchen pots, pans, utensils were Cuisinart. The house was a little farther than we wanted to be from Tahoe City but it was still in a great place. Safeway was down the street. Pretty convenient. Close to freeway. House was clean. Extra linen and towels were provided. Washer machine was a plus. Couch and beds comfortable. If I had a question I would text and I got a response pretty quickly. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
