A Great apartment

The sunset view is stunning from this apartment.It has every amenity you would want for a very pleasant stay. We were very comfortable in this apartment. We hope to stay there again.

Nice Place

This is a nice rental with a comfortable bed and good pillows. Golden View is well maintained and is walkable to the beach, a mall, and two grocery stores. There are also many restaurants nearby.

Great location

Great location, very safe. Beautiful pool and grounds. 5 minute walk to Supermarket, 10 minutes to beach. Quiet and relaxing.

Hot hot hot

Accommodation as expected with everything you need to be able to cater for yourself. Great view from the balcony overlooking the pool and grounds. Clean sheets, bath and beach towels, all utensils and appliances in good order, TV took a bit of understanding but got there in the end. We visited Barbados in early April 2024 when the temperatures were exceptionally high and this is the one thing that let the accommodation down, although there was air con in the bedroom the ceiling and floor stands just moved the hot air around an air con unit in the sitting room area would have been a real treat. Otherwise front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the complex was well maintained throughout. 10 minutes walk to Holetown was pleasurable as this is a nice part of Sandy Lane, look out for the short cut down Cherry Avenue it shaves a few minutes off your walk. Would recommend the accommodation, price, cleanliness and location were good.

I cannot say enough about our stay. The complex met all of the Covid protocols. The unit was spotless! The appliances were top notch as well. Out host and the property manager were beyond attentive. The cleaning staff ensured our unit was clean and that we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the backpack beach chairs and cooler bag that allowed us many picnics and ability to explore the beach along with the clean complex pool. We had the best of all worlds. The sunset is beautiful from the balcony. This tastefully decorated unit is a must return! Thank you For a most wonderful vacation, until next time 😊

Everything we expected and more.

Fabulous month spent in this apartment. Checked in late evening with no issues whatsoever. Slept in comfy bed then woke to the most amazing view next morning. We stayed in this complex last year but on the ground floor, the beauty of this 4th floor apartment is not only the fabulous view, but it's totally private. The kitchen is very well equipped with grill oven, electric hob, microwave and literally every appliance you can think of or possibly need. There is an abundance of beach and bathroom towels, snd immaculate white bedding. The WiFi in apartment is very fast and reliable. The TV had hundreds of channels, however we preferred to watch view from balcony. Beach chairs, boogie boards, chiller bags. You will want for nothing, right down to hair dryer and staighters for hair. Cannot recommended highly enough. Thanks Russ. This will be our first choice for future visits.

Great location, great apartment.

Everything in the apartment was good, didn’t lack for anything except it would have been useful to have some more local information, such as - tap water is good to drink, where the nearest good beach is. WiFi codes etc need to be placed more obviously, not hidden amongst tourist information. A bit disappointing that there wasn’t any coffee, tea, milk etc left out, especially as we arrived in the evening. Also it took a long time to check in - even with our booking number. Reception had to ring someone else to check the owners name which we had given them. Not what you want after a long flight. Just a few little moans - I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

This is a lovely condo set on an absolutely beautiful property. Close to many beaches and shopping.

This condo and property exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and more including beach chairs and boogie boards. It is in a perfect location walking distance to numerous beaches, restaurants and grocery store. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this comfortable and clean condo. Thank you Deb and Russ.

Beautiful and Breathtaking

Russ, Thank you for a wonderful 8 nights in your condo. I had "The Best" time ever during my stay. Barbados is like my second home. I vacation there many of times but this was the first time I stayed at the Goldenview Apartments/Condos in Sunset Crest, St. James. The condo is in the best location … the view is spectacular and everything is nearby i.e., banks, gas station, mall, restaurants, supermarket, etc. The grounds of the apartment complex is absolutely beautiful; the pool, inviting and the beach a 7 min. walk for me. Plenty of things are near the apartments/condos. I especially loved the view from your 4th floor condo, watching the sail boats go by, sun up and sun down - Beautiful. There is no need to rent a car as public transportation is very nearby and readily available to take you anywhere on the island for Bajan $2. There is a supermarket nearby but since I’m familiar with Barbados, I shop at Jordan’s in Speightstown, the next parish up since it’s cheaper than the supermarket nearby. There is also a Barbados $3 store in Speightstown which I love to visit first for the little things. I realize this trip that there was no need for me to shop for essentials because the condo has everything a person would need; all you have to do is bring your clothes. This is the first time I experienced this. I especially love how the Bajan food trucks are nearby the apartment with locals selling full course meals at Bajan $12-$14 which includes fish, chicken, lamb, rice, macaroni pie and salad just to name a few. These meals are 2 meals in 1 so there is no need to cook ... Meals on Wheels. The bed in the condo is extremely comfortable and relaxing and the décor is exactly what you see in the pictures. Thank you to Tina, the apartment manager for being the exceptional hostess. It was really nice meeting you and your husband. The housekeepers and especially Marilyn were especially helpful on giving me directions on the places I needed to go. What a spectacular bunch of ladies. I look forward to spending future trips in your condo. I can see myself living in the condo for the entire summer. I loved staying at the Goldenview Apartments. Wonderful apartment with spectacular view!

We really enjoyed our stay in this awesome apartment- clean & well-maintained. The kitchen is well laid-out, with lots of extra appliances. I thoroughly enjoyed the view even while in the kitchen cooking. The rest of the apartment is unique in that if there are more than 2 people staying there, a walk-way to the bathroom can be formed with movable closets to increase privacy in the bedroom. This is a feature we appreciated as we had our child along for the holiday. The shower is big with a convenient built-in bench. The owners gave us some great info on where to go on the island & provided the name of a very reliable taxi driver/rental car. The cost of the apartment was very reasonable & we would've paid more just for the view. It was easy to set up the rental with the owner replying quickly to all questions. Some favorites were the local beach- Discovery Bay, walking up the hill & along the golf course, & exploring many of the other beaches the island has to offer. A trip to Bridgetown was fun, but the shopping is comparable at the local shopping centres. North Point is beautiful, as is the East Coast Barclay's Park, and the south beaches- Crystal Waters being a fave- were all clean & safe. I have already recommended this apartment to all of my friends & family & have already booked a return trip!
