only 3 minutes to the beach and beach club.the apartment has been built with the emphasis on outdoor living,with open plan space.a patio with table and chairs built in seating for lounging.
spacious studio apt bathroom with walk in shower, bed 6ft.or can be made into twins.over head fan ac wardrobes. sitting area built in sofa tv.is 32 in Smart.. wi-fi.radio. A.C. there is a small charge for Ac as this is a large room, $ 6 us each night.for 8 hours
oven.fridge/freezer.coffee maker.plenty of windows all with mosquito nets giving you lots of light. large garden with plenty of sun or shade. car parking.

Allanha studio apartment is in a great location, on the platinum coast the west coast of Barbados. On your doorstep superb swimming, reef snorkeling and diving; with sailing along with many restaurants for all budgets. The studio apartment is on Hibiscus Avenue the nearest road to the beach and super market in sunset crest. While staying at Allanha you have access to the beach club with pool,sun loungers,bar and shower.

Host was very nice & welcoming! Studio apt. was nice, comfortable & very clean. Cleaning lady comes twice per week to change towels, sheets, empty garbages and wash floors. Washer/clothesline on site.....Priviledge of using the pool/lounge chairs at the nearby "social club" - great place to socialize with others. (some planned activities) Beach is within (1) minute walking distance off "pool area".

The property was small but in a perfect location for shops restaurants bars and beach. The beach club was a real bonus.

Wendy provided easy instructions to check in to her home for our vacation. Great location - walking distance to everything. Would reccommend!

Everything you could need

This property was in a perfect location. It was close to several gorgeous beaches, restaurants, cafes and a grocery store. Wendy is personable and helpful the property is quaint and comfortable.

The photos and amenities were as listed. The studio apt. is well laid out, extremely clean and very comfortable to vacation in. Host is very friendly, helpful and regularly available. Has security surveillance, maid that comes twice per week to change towels, bedsheets and sweep/wash floors. Washer on premises to do one's laundry. Wi-fi included, Minutes to walk to "social club" that has a pool, lounge chairs and steps leading down to beach area. Short (5-7) walk to "Just Grillin" and large supermarket "Massey's". Plan to definitely return in Jan. 2027 for next vacation to escape frigid cold temp. in Northern Ontario, CANADA.

Good, clean place to stay

There were a few rough spots...like getting the keys once I got there, and the locks were a little hard to deal with until I got used to them...but it was nice spacious room and quite clean. Lovely grounds and garden. The worst thing was the fan inside the apartment was broken but Wendy got me another on in a day or two, and the overhead fan was good enough for sleeping - I slept like a baby. I recommend!

Convenient and comfortable

The apartment is in a great location in Holetown close to beach, restaurants, supermarket. The beach club access is definitely a plus. The apartment itself is comfy and well-provisioned for one or two people. I did have issues with the internet being out for most of my stay and was never able to access the TV either but didnt really need it. Parking is the only issue as the apartment is on a fairly busy side street and the parking is inside a gate that needs to be manually opened so its best if you don't have a car or have 2 people one of whom can jump out and open the gate. Overall the apartment is great value for a premium location.

Noisy and cheap accomodation!

If we appreciated the large bed,we didn't like the noisy place with few privacy and the poor kitchen/ustensils facilities.No beach towels,no storage space in the bathroom...

Thanks for your review Bernard. Im glad you appreciated the large bed. The apartment is one of four in private gardens but we do expect some chitter chatter around sun down. Ive had a quick check of the kitchen equipment and it all seems very adequote to me. If theres anything specific we have missed please let us know. We dont provide beach towels as per our advertisment. Ive had a quick check in the bathroom and there are a few shelves we find to adequote. All fixtures and fititngs have been sourced locally through local designers. Our guests seem to like the colonal feel and fititngs many staying for up to three months at a time. I am sorry these werent to your taste.

Wonderful

This little gem of a property had everything we needed. Wendy gave us all the information we needed in advance and quickly responded to the few questions we had. On site Janice was great, very helpful and friendly and kept the place spotlessly clean. The property has a very nice garden with sun beds and a comfortable verandah, and is in a great location, very close to restaurants, shops and the beach club. We hope to visit again!

Perfect area for all your needs

The apartment is so convenient for beach, pool and shops. We were here for just under a month so planned to do some cooking.. Kitchenware was very limited, fortunately I'd brought non stick fry pans otherwise cooking would have been a nightmare. The apartment is very dark but the plus sides made up for the minus, Janice really cares and looks after both tenants and the property. Mark is the maintenance man and is delightful as is Dwayne the gardener. The garden is lovely and the terrace outside our favourite place, we would return here quite happily

sorry to hear there was no frying pan ? I will ask Janice what happen to it. I would be grateful for recommendations to what else you would have like in the kitchen. I am confused how can the apartment be dark, with 4 windows plus glass doors. there are blackout curtains, when pushed back it is very bright.

A great stay.

Communication with Wendy was great throughout. She always replied within half a day and instructions with regard to our arrival were clear and concise. The accomodation is in such a great location and everything from the beach, to the supermarket and lots of great local restaurants were only a few minutes walk. A very big bonus is the use of the beach club which is just across the road and a great benefit of renting this apartment. Towels and sheets changed regularly by the very friendly Janice who oversees the domestic side of things locally. Would I return -oh yes! Sooner the better hopefully.

Sunset Crest HoleTown

Private and very accomodating. The apartment was spacious. We felt at home. Everything was nearby and convenient. Janice is a doll. Very helpful and came twice a week to change linens and towels. Kept the place very clean inside and out. We had Wifi, TV and access to the beach club which had a very nice pool and lounge chairs. Laundry was available which we used at least weekely. We are definitely returning and recommending this place to our friends and family. BTW the owner was only a phone call and/or text message away and responded quickly if we needed help. thanks Wendy and Janice for a great Holiday in Barbados

A little gem

We arrived later than expected but Janice was waiting for us on arrival with a big smile. As the owner was away at the time Janice who does the laundry changeover was there to greet us. She showed us where everything was, and then left us to settle in. It was about 6pm so we walked to the very modern Masseys. Supermarket to buy some bread and milk which is a 5 minute walk away. It took us a couple of days to get our bearings. The property in Hibiscus Avenue is a studio apartment and is set in lovely gardens with a veranda so you can eat at a table one end or sit on the sofa the other end. There are two other studio apartments attached but they still feel private. The garden is well maintained and full of birds if you like feeding them all the better. The studio apartment is perfectly positioned in Holetown, as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the bus stop which services the west coast of Barbados. You have full use of the Beach club which has a swimming pool and bar and restaurant. All the sun beds are included. All the property owners in the area known as Sunset crest, pay a yearly subscription which allows all guests access to the beach club. I will be definitely be coming back here.

Amazing property in a great location.

The apartment was amazing. It has everything you need for two people. The bed is comfy, shower is good, air con works really well. It is in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to everything (beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket). Being able to use the Beach Club is also a big bonus as it allows you to have a base every day should you need it, with; sunbeds, a pool, a bar, showers etc. However if you wish to travel further afield there is both a bus stop and taxi rank 2 minutes walk from the property. Wendy was amazing in the lead up to and on arrival day, our flight was delayed by four hours and Wendy made sure we would still be able to get in to the property when we arrived late at night. Janice was also lovely, bringing fresh sheets and towels twice a week. Overall we had an amazing holiday and I would highly recommend this property.
