This Sierra Foothills home is waiting for you and your family. This spacious home sleeps 10 with six comfy beds and central heat/air conditioning. All season outdoor adventures nearby. Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, relax by the river and rafting are just a few adventures to name. This home is pet friendly and has an enclosed yard for medium sized pets. Kitchen has a small family room with wood burning stove and television. Large living room with 84in television to stream your favorite movie. This home is minutes from Weimar University where you can find walking/hiking trails, health food store, and massages.

Great private place.

A wonderful home to stay in while visiting family, nice to have a place of our own instead of couch surfing. Very clean, lots of space and close to everything, yet out of the way for provacy.

Superb getaway

This VRBO home was more than we could have expected,. There was plenty of rooms for everyone and the best room was the master bathroom with its large jetted tub. Thanks VRBO and Cindy for our great and enjoyable stay!

5-star stay, and communication

Home was beautiful in presentation. Very family friendly. We enjoyed our stay… even through the craziness of the forest fire near by. If we come back to the area, we will definitely be looking to stay here. Wonderful and welcoming! We would recommend it to anyone!

Evening before my big day!

My bridesmaids and enjoyed a relaxing stay the night before my wedding. There was plenty of room for all of us to comfortably sleep and sit and visit. Great location and easy to get to. Also, easy checking in and out process. Thank you!

Great house !!

The house was very nice, very clean, very ccomfortable. They provided everything for our stay. Very well stocked kitchen. All the rooms were very spacious. The host was amazing, she was there for every question or request I had. Would definitely rent again.

Relaxing Stay

Our family of four had a lovely vacation at this spacious home away from home. The property had all the amenities and more for a comfortable stay. My daughters loved the blue decor and touches. They had fun putting together a puzzle. I loved the picnic table and grill on the deck. My spouse was happy with the streaming offering on TV :). The family room was very nicely set up and we had a movie night each day after dinner. Cindy, thank you for sharing your property with us!

Beautiful-Cozy Home

I planned a trip to the Truckee area for my family. Kids wanted to enjoy snow and the adults wanted to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Squaw Valley (Pallisade). This lovely house is in Colfax and was just about 30 minutes away from the snow area. The house was lovelier than I expected. Very spacious for all of us - 2 families. Very well furnished, electronics were latest and high end. Fire place adds to the coziness and charm of the house. Large and beautiful deck in the back would be fun in the summers. Highly recommended.

There were dogs in the neighbor's house came at the property main door and started barking and were knocking the door and we were unable to come out to load the luggage to the car till 10 AM.

This house is AMAZING! You will not be disappointed!

We traveled to the area to attend a funeral. Two families totaling 8 people. We were very pleased with the size of the house and the space to spread out. The TV room seats 10 on furniture with a big TV. (Family time). Very clean. Very equipped kitchen. The deck made it nice to eat outside. Cindy was a great host. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. I would say that the house is actually nicer that what I expected from the pictures. It is quite large and perfect for family gatherings. It is nicely decorated, unlike many other rentals. There were plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, towels, etc. The large deck was lovely and great for having meals outside. Communication was easy and check-in instructions were provided in plenty of time. We did notice, however, that the sliding door at the back of the house doesn't lock properly. I also didn't enjoy the amount of artificial fragrance on the bedding.

Amazing!

Our best experience ever. Our host was just amazing so thoughtful and kind. My son’s wedding was in Forest Hill. The house was so nice to get ready for the wedding at. Nice Quiet Getaway

Exactly what we booked. We wanted a spacious house for 4 people and a dog for the holidays. Something quiet and out of the city, but not too far. Great amenities and plenty of space for 4 adults. Had a great time here.

Spacious, convenient and comfortable

This was the perfect location for a short stay while we attended a funeral in the area. We were comfortable in the clean, spacious house and deck. Those who stayed over had comfortable beds and private bathrooms. We were able to have a small family gathering after the funeral in the well equipped spacious kitchen with plenty of parking. The house was easily accessible to the freeway for those on the way home. The dogs were happy in the fenced yard. The setting could not have been more perfect for our needs. Thank you Cindy!

Beautiful home with large outdoor deck

Surprisingly nice house with spacious family room & large deck would be great for groups as it sleeps 10 guests! The jet tub was a nice plus! Cleaning fee is a pretty steep but expected for a big home

Exceeded all expectations!

We loved our stay. This home has very large bedrooms and bathrooms, great visiting areas, an amazing TV room, and spacious deck. The house remained cool and comfortable even during a heat wave of 110+ temps. We will be back for sure.

A fun, intriguing place to be for the whole family!

Staying here was such a pleasurable experience. The rooms and decor were charming, we loved the Bauhaus art and architecture. Everything was super clean and tidy, he kitchen had everything we needed, and the house had fully stocked bathrooms and extra linens. The kids loved the deck, and the location is just a short drive away from the Bear River, which was lovely. Everything was better than expected and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Peaceful retreat

We stayed here in July 2022. We usually stay at a campground with our trailer but didn’t want to bring it for such a short trip. We were able to focus on our family instead of doing all the chores that come along with staying in a campground. It was about 15 minutes from Rollins Lake and 15 minutes from the Bear river campgrounds where we like to tube down the river. There was plenty of room for our (adult) children and a few friends. We were provided with all of the items needed for our stay, towels, kitchen items etc. The host made all instructions very clear. We didn’t have to wonder what to do about anything. I would recommend this property without hesitation. It was nice enough to feel like we were on vacation and cozy enough to feel like we were right at home.

Bauhaus Beauty

Wish we would have stayed longer— Wonderful property with low-fenced yard for doggie. So close to Auburn, Colfax, Nevada City, and environs. Much more than the 2 of us needed, room to relax in delux style. Highly recommend!!

I grew up in this Weimar home and I have many childhood memories of playing basketball and sunning on the deck. I spent many summers at the Bear River rafting from the Campground to Dogbar Rd. bridge. Now an educator, I appreciate what the outdoors brought to my experiences and enjoy sharing those experiences with others. From skiing at the local resorts, spending time at the river (Bear River and American River across the way) to picking pine cones and watching the wildlife there is never a dull moment in this home.
