The location was convenient to Hwy 101 without excessive noise at night. Room had a whimsical design representative to a beach location. This room was a comfortable base for our stay in Bandon at an economical rate.

Cute cottage/motel stay

Last minute booking, close location to town and super cute place. Would definitely stay here again. Bed was comfy, slept good and left early for fishing just down the street. Other guests were obnoxiously loud drinking/smoking and talking all night but the TV volume helped drown out their sound:) Great stay. Vacasa never disappoints.

Perfect place for a nice getaway in Bandon

We were at the Lamplighter Inn for 4 nights, and had great time visiting Bandon and the surrounding area. The room was clean, quiet, and safe. It is about a mile from Old Town, where most of the restaurants and shops are located. Checking in was easy, as was the communication with management. We highly recommend the place to all visitors to the Bandon area!

Great spot!

Perfect spot if you just plan to crash, and explore the area. Small space, would be great for solo travelers, or a couple. The particular unit I was in would not be great for kids - as there's only one bed, and it's just one room.

Great for work trips!

I often visit Lamplighter when I work in Bandon. For a solo traveler, it's a clean room with sufficient accommodations at a great price. Bear in mind that, while there is some support locally if needed, the property is managed by Vacasa and there is no on-site staff at most times. This works for me again as a solo traveler with minimal needs, but adjust expectations if you expect to spend lots of time on the property. I certainly recommend for people wanting to save money on travel but still appreciate a clean room.

Better than the reviews

Based on the reviews we almost didn’t book our night here. My partner and I were taking a PNW road trip and needed to stop for the night. Options in this area are very limited. There is no one on site but we called the number and the customer service woman was so nice and helpful! Our check in was super easy. The room was a standard motel room and did have a smell of animal (to be expected when booking a place that accepts pets in their stays). Was a fine location for an overnight stay.

Property is good, but one big problem

I've stayed at this property on several occasions, but this is the first time I've stayed at it since they changed to the current property management. The property is in good shape overall and I have always enjoyed its location/convience to many stores/restaurants in the Bandon area. But room 103 in particular has a problem in that it's right next door to a utility room that has an air conditioning/heating unit and it's too loud. In the middle of the night the unit was so loud that it impacted my sleep. I would gladly stay at this property again in the future, but this particular room and anything adjacent to the utility room would be a mistake to reserve.

last minute overnight stop

My husband and I took a roadtrip down the Pacific Coast (WA to CA) and decided to add a stop because the drive on the coast was a little slower than expected. Looking for a cheap quick overnight stop to rest and we were pleasantly surprised. The place was nicer than expected from the photos and very clean. Grocery, car wash, and laundry very close by. We would definitely stay here again.
