Lakefront house on All Sport Palmer Lake with pier to dock your boat/kayak.
Palmer Lake is located in Colon, Michigan. House sleeps eight with sleeper sofa in living room and family room in addition to the bedrooms. 100 feet of frontage on the lake with gorgeous views of the bay. Close to boat launch to bring your own boat and dock on the pier. Includes grill, outdoor seating and parking for four cars.
Beautiful view. Really beautiful view. Loved the deck and dock. Plenty of seating outside. Ate outside at the big table with comfy cushions. Location great. Dock is shaded for much of the day, making it comfortable to enjoy the view or fish.
This is the second time we have rented this home and it was another great experience. Booking is easy and communication is great. Home is ready when you arrive so you can get right to enjoying the lake! We already have family planning on renting this house again soon! I recommend this home to anyone looking for a weekend getaway on the lake.
Overall the house was perfect for our needs. The only complaint was that the beds were all a little uncomfortableâ large bed was very hard, and the sofa beds were so thin we could feel the bars underneath. A padded mattress topper might be worth the investment for future bookers!
This is great house for a family to rent. This worked out great for us because we have family on the lake and weâre able to walk to their home. We will definitely rent again! Hosts were awesome to work with and accommodated are late request to add an additional night!
Property was nice clean the sofa beds themselves could have been a little more comfy but the beds were fine...the view was beautiful and very relaxing đ
We spent a lovely weekend here at this lakefront cottage! My sister, mom, myself, and our 5 kids enjoyed every moment of staying here. We had enough space to sleep comfortably, the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed swimming and watching the sunsets. We canât wait until next time!
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time, the view of the lake was great and a great photo op could have used some information about how to fish the lake all and all the experience was one of the best getaways we have had and did not want it to end
My family and I had a great time at this property! This was our first experience with VRBO and it was a great one. The house was very nice and the furniture was comfortable. We were able rest and relax. The dock worked out well. There was plenty of room for our boat and jet skis. We look forward to renting this property for years to come.
We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to dock our boat and it worked out great for us.
A few things I would suggest for improvement:
The double bed in the main bedroom - it was too firm for us to sleep in. We ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa instead. But it was sort of awesome, because we woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise through the sliding glass doors.
The doors on the shower need the rollers replaced.
The doors on the closet in the living room need to be realigned into the track so they don't fall off when you open.
The row boat needs oars. The paddles are too short to use on that type of boat.
This is an awesome property! We spent the long holiday weekend enjoying this lovely lake house. It has great access to the lake and gorgeous views. We had a cookout to celebrate our momâs 77th birthday. The kids were able to go swimming right off the dock. We had a great time fishing and caught a lot of fish, including several keepers. The house is very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with extras. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to coming back!
A few dad's and the boys stayed here for a lacrosse tournament in Three Rivers this past weekend. It was a great alternative to a hotel. PLENTY of space for the kids (ages15) to run around. The kids swam, made S'mores in the campfire, played corn hole (that we brought) and ate at picnic table. The fas grill was large and worked well. Spacious inside the house. Kitchen was decent. I wish there was some spices in the cupboard, but we made salt and pepper work. I wish we had more time at the place to enjoy it more. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. We didn't fish, but I saw some older poles in the shed. I would post pics if it let me.
