A serene paradise located just two minutes from downtown, this thoughtfully upgraded five-bedroom, five-bath home features abundant indoor/outdoor living space - the ideal retreat for families or working remote. Enjoy an upscale kitchen and an open interior layout offering sliding glass door access to a sprawling lanai that stretches around the entire property. Bordered by lush landscape, this tropical outdoor oasis boasts Ohia hardwood posts, sleek tile flooring, and grass-matted ceilings. Fully furnished, the front lanai includes two seating areas and an alfresco dining table for five, while the luxurious side lanai is detailed with a lounge area and a dining table. Retreat to the resort-style yard for more lounge space and rejuvenating soaks in the private hot tub. An adjacent covered gazebo provides another shaded area, outfitted with a gas grill, granite wet bar, and six-seat table.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood with an enviable central location, a two-minute drive from all the action in downtown Kona including the must-see weekly farmers market. The beaches, Kailua Bay attractions, dining, and shopping options are all less than 10 minutes from the home. Two well-appointed bedrooms are located in the main home, while three boutique-style suites have private exterior entrances. Each room is equipped with a TV. The primary suite includes a queen bed, full sleeper sofa, and direct lanai access, plus an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The second bath has a walk-in shower. The third bedroom boasts a king bed, two twin beds, a sofa, and a separate entrance, with an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a double vanity. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a separate entrance. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The fifth bedroom has a queen bed and a separate entrance. The en-suite bath has a walk-in shower. Additional amenities include AC, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, and beach gear that includes chairs, toys, and boogie boards.

Perfect

Perfect for a 2 family stay. Plenty of room and a bath for every room meant no waiting. So nice to have a washer/dryer. There are beach towels in baskets included too!

50th Anniversary

Seperate bedrooms w baths was great for our groups. The kitchen was well appointed w utensils and dishes and had plenty of room. Lanais we’re very enjoyable for morning coffee and evenings. Thanks for umbrellas, chairs and beach towels. Much better than it was represented on the web.

Beautiful home

This home is perfect for a big family! The down side is the neighbors - no one is allowed to be outside before 6 am or past 9 pm otherwise the neighbors will go outside their window and yell at you for having conversations and can get you evicted - even at a moderate voice level. So we were unable to use the grill or have cookouts or really be outside that much outside of those hours. Everything else was beautiful and it’s a great location

Overall great stay

The rooms were spacious, airy and air conditioned , neat and enough. Umber of bathrooms, kitchen can be stocked with more basic amenities such as sugar, oil . The internet was very slow in general so it was hard to use the Wi-Fi. Overall, the stay was great for families with kids. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Lot of greenery around the house and good space for kids to run around. Extra Beach items were also very helpful! Loved the outdoor bugs and the green lizards 😀.

Comfortable family get- away

We had trouble entering the house. The initial instructions only gave us the entry gate code. We had to call the emergency number and that person was unable to help us locate the house codes for each door to enter the house. Luckily one of our party is an experienced traveler and looked inside the app and found the additional information we needed to enter each outside door. After that we were pleasantly surprised at the spacious, well furnished accommodations. Great location.,we went somewhere everyday and i am sure that we only saw a small portion of the island’s beautiful sites. Looking forward to returning.

Fantastic rental home, just needs better Wifi!

This is a fantastic rental. It is one of the few that feature 5 beds and 5 baths. 3 of the rooms are unattached to the main living room and kitchen which affords some good privacy. All of the bathrooms are great, walk in, nice and big. Very clean. Great for business trips, except the Wifi needs to be updated. The kitchen has almost all of the essentials. The A/C works great and everyone can control their own A/C in their rooms. Living room/kitchen also has A/C. The yard is very well kept, with bug control. The hot tub is a great extra, fantastic for relaxing and watching the stars! The patio attached to the kitchen is also a great shaded hangout spot next to a gorgeous Plumeria tree. The drive way is spacious and easy to park in. House is very easy to find and commute to/from.

Great house in a great location

We stayed here with 4 other couples when we were all in town for a wedding, and this house was perfect! Each couple had their own privacy with their own rooms, and each couple had their own bathroom which was huge for getting ready each day! The neighborhood is quiet, parking is easy (plenty of street parking beyond the parking in the driveway), and we could get anywhere in town quickly!

Great for a big group and good location

The location of this property was ideal - only a few minutes from everything we wanted and needed in the heart of Kona. The property is huge - the pictures don't do it justice! The check-in process was a little confusing just because Turnkey vs. VRBO had so many different documents and portals all with varying levels of information, so we weren't able to find the individual room lock codes at first. Also, the floors were all dusty when we arrived so we had to request that someone come in and re-clean the floors. The Turnkey associates were very responsive to my texts, and our overall stay was nice. Great spot to work from home and lounge, and was great for a big group!

A unique but great property

Five bedrooms, three of which enter from the outside but all have AC and their own shower and bath. Great kitchen and morning and afternoon lanais. Everything worked! except my soap dispenser :-) and we could have used a broom. Driving wise, close to grocery shopping, airport and beaches. We would rent this again at the drop of a hat if we returned..

Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill came in handy. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and relaxing...just what we wanted after long days of exploring the island. TurnKey was very responsive to our questions during our stay. House is very near (within 10 min drive) from Kona shorefront. There is also a Safeway grocery store, Walmart and Starbucks within 2 miles, so easy to stock up on groceries and items you may need.

Reviewer Comments: the house is clean, the house is modern with spacious rooms. but the living conditions are very harsh, after 9 pm there is no extraneous noise, there should be silence, it is impossible to be on the street, otherwise they may ask you to leave this house the next day. so be careful. if you smoke, then move 20 feet away from the house, we smoked at a table on the street and they wanted to fine us $ 500 for it

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house was very clean, great location and a great home especially for a large family wanting private space of their own. The house had chairs, beach gear and is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The down side is there was basically no shampoo and conditioner provided. A small bottle was in each bathroom, but was used up the first day. Just not enough when staying multiple days. The other downside is there was never any hot water. At best showers were Luke warm and in the Master bedroom, the shower was always cold. Never heard from anyone from property management. No welcome, no check in to make sure we arrived okay and had what we needed. I have stayed at many other rental homes and every time was greeted by either the owner or at least a property management person making sure we had what was needed. Tried to reach out to see about a late check out and didn’t hear back until well over 24 hours. Good thing I didn’t need anything right away, might not have ever heard from anyone. The house is very nice and a great place, but sometimes the simple things (I.e, shampoo, hot water, and some basic customer service) goes a long way. I would recommend the house itself, but not the company who owns and operates it.
