Weracoba/St.Elmo sidewalk neighborhood with 80-year old hardwood shade trees, and one block from the Weracoba Greenspace city park and manicured athletic fields, 17 blocks from the Chattahoochee River White Water attraction, 15 minutes to Ft. Benning, and 45 minutes to Callaway Gardens. Our home was completely renovated in 2006 with hard wood floors, bright dine-in kitchen with IKEA table & chairs and breakfast bar with IKEA bar chairs, spacious living room with plush IKEA slip cover chairs and love seat, powder room on the main, front sunroom with wicker chair and ottoman for reading, large master queen size bedroom suite on main with plush IKEA slip cover chair and ottoman and claw-foot tub & shower master bath, huge 2nd floor bedroom with two queen size iron beds, large backyard deck with BBQ grille and Sunsetter shade, private fenced backyard with lush Saint Augustine grass for bare feet, roses for the table, southern life style magnolia tree to put you in the mood for those lazy summer afternoons, and elephant ears for that tropical ambiance. Our home has two heat pump HVAC systems for your comfort and lots of natural light for a bright mood throughout the house and Venetian blinds for privacy. Just relax and enjoy the slow pace of the neighborhood or checkout the historic waterfront area with the brick paved Broadway mansions or visit the fantastic Infantry Museum and IMAX theatre. And oh the restaurants...Rose Hill Seafood with those fresh Apalachicola oysters, the Butcher Shop lunchroom with rib eye steaks that you dream about, or Jarfly Brewing Co...Bon Appetite!

The address matters.

Oneof the commuications received took us to an address in a depressed neighborhood. Once we got the correct address we realized the location was pretty good. There was a mix up when we arrived and the unit had not been cleaned. We reported it to the property manager who arrived almost immediately and resolved the issue. The place is pet friendly and there were a couple of locations where pet hair had collected on the sides of furniture that was not visible unless you moved the furniture. Overall though the place was comfortable and in a very convenient location.

Excellent Stay for Ft. Benning Graduation

We stayed at this location for four nights, for our son's Basic Training Graduation, we were only 15 minutes away from the main gate which was one of the biggest pros to this home. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and close to shopping. We did have some trouble finding the house on the first night, only because the listing showed the address listed on 'street,' but it is on 'avenue.' Michael was extremely responsive, polite and answered all of our questions-communication was excellent, check in process was super easy! The property is also listed with two bedrooms, but it has a third bedroom upstairs with two full/queen size beds-this worked out awesome for our family; this was a wonderful surprise. We are from up north so we aren't familiar with the bugs in the south, but we did have to dispose of a number of cockroaches during our stay, so this maybe normal for the south in the summer. On our last night, my husband and sons were playing in the front yard and our 12 y/o son ran to the sidewalk and the neighbor across the street yelled at him to "get gone!" We wanted to be as respectful as possible so we went inside for the rest of the night. This was probably the biggest con of the trip, everything else was fantastic! We are very gracious that Michael let us stay in his home!

Nice Family Event

Watched our son in the "Turning Green" ceremony at Fort Benning. Great location. 15 to 20 min from Fort Benning and 5 minutes to Broadway. We had a very relaxing time. This older home and the neighborhood were a perfect setting for our visit.

Military Graduation

We stayed there for four nights for a military graduation. We were about 15 minutes from Ft. Benning and so close to many other things. There was plenty of room to spread out. The only problem we had was we couldn’t use the upstairs shower because it immediately started leaking through the ceiling down into the master bedroom. I did let the lady know who takes care of the property and assume it will be fixed for the next people staying. We had a great visit and enjoyed our time at this cute home.

Great Stay!

So much better than staying in a hotel! Lovely home with plenty of space to spread out and with a nice backyard for our dog! Great location, convenient to Fort Benning and nice restaurants. A park is just a very short walk away. Caretakers readily available and very nice! We had a wonderful time!
