Home was very clean and tidy for our 3 day stay. Highly recommended for those needing lodging in Columbys. I would book this lodging again, and highly recommend
Cute house, clean, nice yard, and centrally located. We visited during our sonâs turning green ceremony and stayed at the house with him during his 4 day pass. House is about 10-15 minutes from Fort Benning. Host provided snacks, sourdough bread, fruit basket and coffee/tea.
In town for our Soldiers Turning Green Ceremony! Alexandria was amazing - we had issues on our side with the original booking (found out the CC had been compromised) - Alexandria was very understanding through the entire stressful situation! The house was really nice, homely, and exactly what we needed in order to give our Soldier a relaxing weekend off base! Would highly recommend the Mod Peach to anyone needing a place in Columbus.
Great property, very clean and close to everything. We appreciate the host leaving fresh sourdough bread and snacks! Will
Definitely stay again when we come back next time!!
We were travelling to Columbus for my oldest son's Turning Green weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house was clean and well-appointed, and Alexandra was the most responsive and conscientious host I've ever encountered with VRBO. Coming in, our flight was delayed by several hours so on the first night we didn't arrive until almost 4:00 AM. The fresh bread, fruit, and snacks were a life saver! I'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in Columbus.
Home was nicely decorated, clean, and the snacks left for us were awesome! Our host was very attentive. Location was convenient to shopping, dining, and Fort Moore. The only thing I did not like was the full size bed in the master bedroom. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was great. We had our own rooms, we could hang out with our Soldier like we were at home. Home is a few minutes from activities but in a residential area which was good. All that mattered was that my Soldier was comfortable and I was with him, this home surpassed that. Thank you so much!!!
The Mod Peach house was excellent. Check-in was simple and easy. We had a welcome basket full of fruit, snacks, muffins and all the staples (sugar, coffee, tea etc. ) that you would need. The house was very clean. Shopping was nearby and if you needed something right away there was a gas station/convenient store and Dollar General within walking distance. The neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay again.
A Burkes
We had such an amazing time in Columbus watching our sons turning green graduation at Fort Moore. Staying at the Mod Peach made everything so much easier. The communication with our host was excellent, distance to base is an easy 15 minute drive, the home was very comfortable and clean. Our soldier got to spend an extended weekend at the home with us and it was just what he needed to rest and decompress. We plan to stay here again when we return for his turning blue ceremony if itâs available.
We stayed here for our son's turning blue ceremony and graduation. The home has been completely updatedand has super comfortable mattresses. The hosts were super attentive to make sure our stay was seamless - and it was!
They provided fresh sourdough bread, snacks and coffee. Which came in super handy.
We had other family in town, and the living room fit all 9 of us comfortably.
I highly recommend this home for your stay.
It was a very quaint home and well furnished. Couch in main room was nice but other chairs not the most comfy. The bathroom in main hallway was very nice. Bathroom for master bedroom lacked shelf space for 2 people, but still very nice. Maybe a bench at end of bed to accommodate suitcases or putting clothes would be nice touch.Gracious host with plenty of snacks , homemade sour dough bread. Good laundry facilities. Everything was very nice.
There just wasnât anywhere to take walks-no sidewalks and on a busy street, so that was the only negative.
This is a clean and tidy house. We very much appreciated our host, Alexandra. Communication was clear and quick. Check-in was easy. We enjoyed the sourdough bread, coffee, and snacks, which were a lifesaver in the mornings when we were rushing to attend our sonâs Turning Blue and graduation ceremonies. Constructive criticism would be to add some luggage racks and hooks for towels and things.
We visited for my sonâs âTurning Greenâ graduation at Fort Moore and we had such a great visit with him at the home. It was much more relaxing than if we had booked a hotel and the home was so clean and welcoming! The fresh bread and treats were amazing! Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay!
We spent 3 nights here for our sonâs turning green ceremony. The layout was perfect because we had our own bedroom, our soldier had his own bedroom and my younger kids had their own room. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We watched movies in the living room each night and cherished our time together. The only negative was the home sits on a somewhat busy road so you hear a lot of cars and motorcycles, but that was a minor inconvenience. Itâs very close to the mall and lots of food and shopping. We would recommend and stay again.
Our experience exceeded any expectations we had! I am a former host myself and have high standards and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The check in process was seamless and the home is in a convenient location to Fort Moore. This home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We loved the the white fresh lines and towels and all the special touches ( too many to name). Alexandra left fresh fruit and snacks as well as freshly baked sour dough bread and jams. There was keurig coffee and tea options and even cold water in the fridge upon arrival.Alexandraâs communication was fantastic and checked in to make sure we didnât need anything. This home felt safe and was extremely cozy and comfortable. We appreciated being able to do laundry as well! Not only was Alexandra a great host with a beautiful home she also went above and beyond to help us after our trip ended. Unfortunately we misplaced our car keys and had a bad experience with our Turo rental. Alexandra and her mom went out of their way to look for our lost keys and even pulled up exterior camera feed to try and help us locate the keys.
We will be back in February for my sons turning green ceremony and will 100% book this home again. Thank you Alexandra for helping make this special weekend with my son even better! Your kindness and hospitality gets five stars from us!!!
