The Nspired Boho Theme House in North Columbus 15 mins from Fort Moore
Come enjoy Boho designed home. Peaceful home that can be a home away from home!!! The house is equipped with 3bedrooms and 2baths. There is a living/Game area with a futon. We also provide a Queen air mattress.
From the pictures everything looked very nice. In reality, everything was very run down. Cabinets with crooked doors, carpets felt dirt, hard floorâs felt sticky. Outlets didnât work in either bathroom, even checked the gfi. Kitchen cabinet doors falling off, had two microwaves, one that didnât work. A small counter one that did. It was very dark because it was missing half the light bulbs
Ive had the pleasure to stay in several VRBOs in the Columbus GA area. However, this one was the most comfortable for my family and I. I was a little worried abiut the check in process after reading several reviews. However, everything was okay with the check in. TH
Was nice but should of been told cant use dishwasher kitchen sink swing set before hand over priced for all the DON'TS. The kitchen very nice hard to cook with out mixing bowls etc. Thank you
We rented this house for the occasion of our stepson's OCS graduation. It is in a quiet neighborhood off the main roads, which was good. There were a lot of rules from the management, but mainly commonsense. A few things were sort of out of date or didn't work exactly right, like the knob on the shower and the bedding in the master bedroom, but they were fine for a weekend. The weekend turned out great for us and the house added to the enjoyment of it.
Convient place to stay fors son-in-law's Airborne graduation.
Stayed in the house with 7 adults for a quick weekend trip visiting Fort Moore. Wayne was very accommodating when we had a confusion concerning check in. He responded quickly and was very polite. House was very neat and tidy accommodations that suited our families need. Could have used another blanket for our living room sleeper but just borrowed the throw blankets off the bedroom beds. Not a huge deal. The Coffee/Tea and snacks provided were a nice touch for early mornings or late night snacks.
Came for my sonâs basic training ceremony and was due to be in town really early- hours before check in at 4. Asked if we could drops vehicle off - we were coming in with three and was going to just need 2 to get on base. No response for a few days then said it was fine. Asked for address to leave Vehicle. No response. Wasnât able to leave the vehicle. Asked about check in/ directions twice. Texted at 3:30 about it again. Immediately responded and said cleaning lady was still there. Host responded a few minutes after check in time that it was ready. Two of the pictures on site are the same indicating both twin and queen size. Thereâs a futon- which is the twin. There wasnât any sign of another bed. I bought a blow up bed and later found a blow up bed in the master suite closet- no where was this mentioned on the site details- so I took it back. There was 1 comforter in the same closet. I had to buy another blanket as the person sleeping on the couch had no cover. Iâve never rented from a VRBO where there werenât extra blankets. There were bleach stains on bath towels. None of the beds were comfortable. Several light bulbs burned out Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Fenced in yard was nice for the kids to play.
Overall, this rental was okay. I chose it because it was close to Fort Moore and I was coming for my sons graduation from basic. however in the afternoons, the air conditioning couldnât keep up and even though we set it to 72 it was more like 80° in there. also I had to buy what I consider kind of basic things like toilet paper and hand soap . normally at most rental houses Iâve stayed in those are provided. one of my biggest complaints was I did not get any check-in instructions until an hour before check-in and then I had to contact the host to get them to send me the information. Also had to do quite a bit of cleaning considering thereâs $165 cleaning fee . Iâve never stayed at a rental where I had to strip beds and start laundry myself, probably would not stay here again
Upon entering the property, it was noticed that the wreath on the door said âMerry Christmas,â this should have been the first indication of things to come. To start with the positives, the house is nicely decorated; however, thatâs where the niceties end. In the surface, things appeared to be neat and tidy until you look closer. The carpets had a thin layer of grime- clearly in need of a vacuum, the kitchen floors were sticky, the oven had streaks/crumbs, and the refrigerator had food left from the previous occupants.
The house is supposed to house 10 people; however, there were not enough beds/linens to house 10 people. We were one queen bed shy of what was advertised online. Also, the house did not have enough towels. I had to go buy cleaning supplies, towels, etc. Not to mention the overall up keep on the property was far from ideal. For a property that claimed to be a 10/10, you would expect all features of the home to be nicely maintained. The dishwasher and microwave were broken. The canopy covering the falling apart outdoor furniture was almost non existent and falling apart. The play set was falling down (we did not have small children with us- all adults). Light switches loose and falling off the walls, not enough lighting in the kitchen see what you were cooking (see broken microwave). Not a simple sauce pan to be had- every VRBO we have stayed at has been well stocked in the kitchen.
Overall, very disappointing. I hope an honest rating helps future guests.
