Monet on the Bay II. Bring the Camera, we have the backdrop! This Fabulous Duplex Home sits in a quiet community nestled on Mobile Bay, 18 miles away from the hustle and bustle of the beach, and 11 miles from The Tanger Outlet Mall. The Backside of the home faces the west so you can watch the Sun Set every day across the water from one of the many porches, swings, the pier, the yard, or out of the many West facing windows from inside the home. The homes lot is HUGE giving you a feel of seclusion! The community Boat launch is just down the road, then park the boat pier side (there is NO boat lift at this property).

Monet On The Bay II is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath Home. The Great Room encompasses the fully stocked Kitchen, Dining Area, and the Living Area with a Sleeper Sofa. Right off the Kitchen area on one side is the Large Screened-in Porch with a dining set, seating 6 to enjoy your meals while basking in the Bay. Off the other side is the Main Deck that adjoins the two homes and where the Hot Tub sits. The Large Primary Suite contains a King Size Bed, A Sitting Area, and a Private Full Bathroom. Guest Bedroom #1 holds a Queen Size bed. Guest Bedroom #3 provides 2 Twin over Full Bunk Beds for all the kiddos! These two bedrooms share the Full Guest Bathroom with a Jetted Tub/ Shower combo located just off the Living Area. If you need more space, the entire Duplex can be rented- Monet On The Bay.

**All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

Family gathering

The property was easy to find. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean. The view was great. It was centrally located. We went to the beach to eat dinner, not a long drive at all.

Good times/bad times

Toaster did not work. Stove light not working. Dishwasher hinges are broken allowing the "heavy door" to smash into the open position almost breaking door. Guest bath door handle bolt assembly backing out of door plate. Outdoor water not turned on. Lights on dock not working even the numerous solar lights on boardwalk to dock. Internet states lift for boat. It was Inoperable. Manager came by to fix the TV and said there was a hand crank on dock to place my boat in the lift straps. No hand crank was found. The back, front and porch doors have a serious buildup of hand oil, dirt and food around handles. Disgusting. Soap and water would remove. Missing dock floorboards laying in a pile exposing a serious gap in the dock floor allowing for tripping etc... Major liability. Electric can opener not working in any electrical outlet. Tried several. Manual China made can opener doesn't cut butter. Couch fabric is disgusting with food stains, spills etc..... Carpet area rugs covered in stains. No tea pot available. Beautiful place but needs to be more honest with disclosing amenities.

Super easy check in with lots of space to park. Lovely home with an amazing view...hope to come back soon!

Great getaway on the bay

I loved this property; it was just perfect for me. Right on the bay, so I could fall asleep listening to the waves. We were there to kayak, and it was really nice being able to launch from the backyard for nice long days on the water. There’s a hose under the house, so we could rinse the boats off easily afterwards. We really liked sitting in the hot tub and listening to the waves most evenings. I enjoyed being able to soak in the jacuzzi inside the evenings that it rained. The property manager was great and answered questions promptly. When the heater went out, they brought space heaters, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and quiet location

Booked it short notice for family to stay as we were in the area for a funeral. Clean and well equipped place. Unfortunately, we only slept here and spent our days at a family member's house so I can not comment on the scenery or location.

Bella’s Birthday

Property and location was amazing. Rented for my daughters 17th birthday. Had friends come and sleepover . They had a blast on the water. So tranquil and priceless sunsets! Will definitely try and rent again. Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kelley (owner of Celebrity Vacation Rentals) has always extremely professional in our previous stays and continued to be during this unpleasant stay. We were greeted at Monet II by 79 degree temps inside and for a week it never got lower than 74. Not sure who dropped the ball in repairing A/C (owner or CVR). Owner did however invite us to use Monet I in which A/C worked perfect. On the other hand we didn't reserve Monet I but were grateful to be able to cool off some.We will return to Monet II and Kelley at CVR due to past professional history - however we know what to ask about and have someone inspect the property other than housekeepers. Thanks Kelley and owners & I will say owners sent us a partial refund. I/we would suggest you staying w/ Kelley (CVR) and at Monet II.

Our Stay

We were on our way to our house on the first day and we got a call saying the air condition did not work that well. They did everything they could and gave us the house next-door also. They told us they want us to be comfortable and that we can use both houses. They went out of their way to make everything right. We rented this place to do a lot of fishing with my boys. And we were very disappointing to know that even though the dock is 200 foot long that the water is only about 2 1/2 feet deep. This was a nice place and we did enjoy yourself. Everything was clean and well kept.

One month in waterside paradise!!!

Beautiful property on Mobile Bay. The scenery could NOT be better. Large screen tv's in every room. Hot tube could have seated 8. Every pot, pan or kitchen device was provided. It warmer, we could have used the provided paddle boards. The quiet surroundings were a respite from the usual hustle and bustle of most rental properties. If you want a wonderful, quiet vacation, Monet @ the bay is for you. WE LOVED THE PLACE !!!

Bayfront beauty

The views and peacefulness of the property is unreal. Son spent endless hours fishing off the pier and checking the crab traps. We saw dolphins feeding nearby every morning. It’s a bit off the beaten path but only a 20 minute drive to town
