Kamaole Beach Royale #309 is a one bedroom and one bath unit with AC in the living room, and ceiling fans throughout. The bedroom features a King bed and a SmartTV with cable. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs and a washer and dryer in the unit. The living room features a sofa bed and a large-screen SmartTV. The lanai provides a wonderful vantage point for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. There is a telephone provided for local calls. Kamaole Beach Royale #309 also supplies beach chairs, beach towels, and some beach toys for outdoor enjoyment. This unit is in the heart of South Kihei and perfect for those seeking the convenience of being right in the center of the action! The unit sleeps up to 4 guests.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Anniversary trip

I don’t like ever leaving negative feedback on a stay and actually I think this is probably the first. The biggest complaint we had was that the air conditioning was woefully inadequate and we spent every night sleeping in a bedroom that was too hot and we couldn’t even have a sheet on top of us. The deadbolt on the door did not work. There were dust bunnies and picture frames, etc. underneath the bed, those were the major issues we had. The location of the property is perfect. Check in process was smooth. I tried to contact management on the deadbolt issue, but we just relied on the lock on the screen door. Some of this needs to be updated to improve future stays.

Home Away from Home

Great location. Been visiting Kamaole Beach Royale since the 3rd grade. Celebrated my 50th birthday in Kihei this year. Feels like home away from home. Can’t beat the location for beach, shops, local eats. Love!

Great location near best beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was dated but comfortable. Covered patio with oceanview was nice and excellent soft sand Kamaole Beach I is steps away. Perfect spot for a beach holiday. Snorkel gear was not usable but reasonable rentals are adjacent. Would recommend a car rental as restaurants and shopping are spread out. Nice to have laundry in unit.

Not what i expected

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We chose Kamamole Beach Royale because we came here last year and loved it, the location and condo. This time not so much on the condo, it was dirty, yellow pillows, towels were smelly and old, dead flowers I assume were left by the previous renter which made the condo smell. One beach chair!! Really One?? broken and rusted other chairs. The condo could stand to have some upgrades and a really good cleaning. No paper towels, no laundry pods again had to ask for them. I appreciate that Maui rentals took care of us and fixed our issues, from bring us new pillows and having the condo cleaned after we arrived. We will be visiting again, however we will stay clear of 309.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. Upgrades are required. Beach toys were appreciated but need to be looked at more often. The noodles are deteriorated. The umbrella was broken and one chair would not open. Rain must have been in the Storage containers for some time as the flippers were ruined. We did not have little ones but there was lots of sand left behind in the containers.The overhead lights in the kitchen and undercounter were not working. The hairblower did not work. The bathroom cupbaord doors are peeling. For that much money, there could be more than one ply toilet paper.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Supplies for daily use was excellent. The TV location was blocking the lovely view. Thanks for the Keurig coffee pot. We think written directions on how to navigate the TV system. We saw paint peeling on the bathroom doors —paint job could have been better. No foot cushions for kicking back. Furnishings for living room were minimal and not for comfort.

Enjoyable stay in Kihei

Easy access to the lovely beach, crossing busy Kihei road has a pedestrian controlled light.Condo was very comfortable and had all the amenities, plus extras like a boogie board, surfboard, sand toys.( TV in odd position, blocking some of the beautiful ocean view and not in front of the couch).

Great view from the Lanai.

Overall it was an enjoyable visit. Pros: The view was awesome. The pool was nice. The BBQ deck and seating area was great for watching the sunset and cooking a meal. Plenty of towels for the beach and bathroom. Had the basics for soaps and toiletries. Location was awesome, a 2 minute walk to one of the better beaches on the island. Lots of walkable restaurants and other stores. Cons: Loud construction noises (saws and hammer drills) all day 9-5, M-F from the unit next door. Could not relax at all and felt forced out. They didn't clean up after themselves and left the outside hallway dirty enough it tracked into our place and left the gate and door dusty. The frying pans were unusable as the Teflon coating was peeling off on most of each pans serface. We ended up going out to buy one of our own so we could actually make a meal, and left it for the next person. Sorry, it was warped when we got it from Safeway. The AC worked for the living room, but didn't reach the bedroom, so it was hot each night. The vacuum head was broken so the rug beater didn't spin at all, and the broom was half broken and annoying to use. The water had a funky smell to it. Not sure if that was just the building or the city, but we bought a lot of bottled water. The cabinets were definitely in need of some TLC as the paint was peeling off the bottom. Overall, we were in Hawaii so we were out enjoying activities. It was temporary.

Cozy apartment with Beautiful Views

The view is beautiful and consistent with the pictures on the listing! The unit itself was clean and was well equipped consistent to the listing. It was great to have laundry and kitchen items. Beach towels and couple lawn chairs were useful. Do note that other beach supplies (goggles etc) are older but there are stores a block away to rent other beach rentals. The AC wasn’t strong as it wasn’t located in the bedroom but the unit had multiple ceiling fans which kept it cool. The location is super convenient! Close to convenience stores, fast casual restaurants and most importantly it’s close to many beach parks ! The area is more chill and less touristy which I enjoyed. The property management had great communication and if you had questions, there was an agent on site during business hours. Overall highly recommend this place.
