A rare opportunity to stay on Blowing Rock's Main Street in a penthouse apartment housed in an historic 1928 building. Completely renovated into very chic, modern, upscale apartment complete with dedicated secured Wifi, bamboo floors, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, tile shower, and so much more...

Penthouse A is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, spacious apartment that overlooks Main Street. The owners combined painstaking attention to detail with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm to create this distinctive residence. The open kitchen and living room are well stocked and beautifully appointed. The large bedroom offers space to unpack and feel at home, a king bed with high quality linens, a large closet, and access to the bathroom with large tiled shower. From the comfortable furniture and useful amenities to the smallest details like the dimmable nightlight under the step into the bathroom, it is very clear the owners' main intention was to ensure guests have a perfect stay here in Blowing Rock.

You will feel at home here as this apartment is furnished with a full sized washer and dryer, iron & ironing board, large flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker, and so much more! You won't get tired of being just a short walk from all your favorite Blowing Rock shops, restaurants, and the downtown park.

Parking available in free municipal covered or uncovered garages only a 3 1/2 minute walk away. Please note this is an upstairs apartment with a full set of steps to enter - approximately 26 steps.

Perfect location and great place

This place is ideal if you want to be able to walk to all of downtown Blowing Rock. Great kitchen, huge master bedroom, and tastefully decorated.

50th Anniversary

Penthouse A was a perfect choice for our Blowing Rock stay. Easy access to great food, shopping and parking. We have enjoyed an annual pilgrimage to Blowing Rock for 40 years, staying in numbers of properties but this moves to our favorite.

Downtown Blowing Rock

Property was exactly as represented. Great location with walking to shops and restaurants. Center of town but still quiet inside. Had a problem with the heat and management had it fixed very quickly even though it was Sunday. Large bedroom and very clean. Highly recommended.

Great location near the park

If you're looking for a nice, clean place to stay for 1-2 people that is walkable to everything in Blowing Rock, this is it. We enjoyed it very much. It was very quiet. You have to climb 15-20 stairs to get to it, but not a big deal for us. The only thing that would make it better is if it had its own designated parking spot.

Amazing place!!

This cozy little apartment was our house for Winterfest. Absolutely loved the place. Cozy little place, super clean, walk out the door onto Main Street. We parked our car and didn’t move it for 4 days. Everything is within walking distance. And yes, lots of stairs to get up to apartment so getting luggage up and down isn’t the easiest but that’s the only tiny issue. We will definitely come back next time we come to Blowing Rock!!

Spectacular location

This property is perfectly positioned right off of Main street in blowing rock, you can easily walk out the door right into the excitement of town. We really enjoyed how conveniently located this was and how easy it was to get to. Yes, there are stairs to the apartment but not crazy. We easily found parking each night during our stay. We will definitely be back. The property is absolutely perfectly appointed and clean, which is a must for us! Nicely done.

Modern, Downtown Couples Winter Retreat

Enjoyed the location downtown on Main Street for walking the street to shops and restaurants. Modern and clean. The property is above a shop. Bed was firm, but comfortable. Was quiet, but don’t think anyone was in the next unit so can’t comment on that. We enjoyed it very much, but a few things to be aware of: 28 steep steps to the unit, only one bathroom which is in the bedroom, odd step up to bathroom so be cautious with night visits.

Mother Daughter weekend Getaway

What a quaint updated property! Right in the heart of Main Street Blowing rock. Great hiking in the area. We did Grandfather Trail (& the swing bridge) and Linville Falls. So many to choose from! Local shops are amazing. Local restaurants are great. Ate in Boone 2 of the 3 night. Highly recommend Beacon Butcher Bar and Red onion Cafe in Boone only about 15-20 minutes away depending on traffic. We missed the colors by 1 week, but the views were amazing! Stop by the Blowing rock for great views, less than 2 miles away. Went there again at sunset, WOW!! We will definitely be back!

Good stay. Very pleased with the accommodations. Surprised however we had to take trash out to back, never stayed anywhere that required such. Be nice to remind others in the other unit to not allow the door to slam each time upon leaving.

Great location on Main Street. Could walk to anything. Parking really was not an issue by early evening there was always spaces right out front. Everything was clean and easy check in would like to rent again next year,

Location Location!

Loved being on Main Street! Across from BR beautiful park and gardens. Lots of restaurants that are walkable. Pickleball every morning at the park! Quiet at night, too! Just note the stairs and parking situation. Not a problem for us!
