Great three bedroom log cabin with a fantastic view! Walking distance to the Three Bears Lodge, which is great for kids, adults, and families, as well as easy access to walking trails and bike paths, and a fire pit!
My family and I loved the location, amenities and our neighbor (Robert) and his dog were awesome. We initially had a connectivity issue with the WIFI password however, a quick message to the host and it was resolved.
Enjoyed the spacious cabin and shaded backyard with fire pit, a great view, and picnic table. Only disappointment was that the shower soap dispensers were empty in both showers, and got no response on getting them refilled.
We had a wonderful day at this cabin nothing negative to say the host was responsive, and we had no issues during our stay. Be advised that the TVs are older, but if you check, there may be Rokuâs on the two bigger TVs for sure. There was one in the bedroom, which allowed us to watch movies before bed. As for the two smaller rooms they were Roku TVs already with easy access to any streaming apps, the neighbors were friendly. Be sure to clean after yourself if throwing fireworks during the Fourth of July.
Great cabin, fun family trip. I gave check in process 4 stars only because we didnât get the code and WiFi password until we asked but everything else was great!
Though our stay was brief the property worked out great for our family of 5. Great location and amenities. Owner was quick to respond to our questions.
Very roomy and perfect for our family get together! Loved that the fire pit was in the backyard vs the other properties on the road having them in the front.
The Warren's cabin was clean and met the needs of our family. A few things that weren't available that would have been very good to have in the cabin were: potholders, a couple more kitchen towels, and matches or a lighter to start the campfire. The cabin description was accurate, and our family enjoyed the cabin.
This was one of the most frustrating and uncomfortable VRBO experiences we've had, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. When we arrived, we discovered the central air conditioning was not working. The host responded and sent someone out the next day, only to be told the unit was completely broken and needed full replacement. That evening, the host installed three window units securing with cardboard box from unitâbut not one in the main living area, so the house remained hot and stuffy. We were told another unit would be installed the next day. No one showed up, and the host stopped responding. The house stayed at an uncomfortable 76 degrees indoors, making it difficult for anyone to sleepâespecially frustrating considering how much we paid for what we expected to be a comfortable stay.To make matters worse:Wi-Fi never worked, and this was never addressed by the host.No toilet paper, even though the listing said it was provided. We had to purchase at gas station nearby.Spiders in both showers.Soiled pillows and unmowed lawn with a huge ant hill in the backyard. No hand soap or laundry detergent, so be prepared to bring everything yourself. We contacted both the host and VRBO regarding a refund due to these major issues, and both refused. The lack of basic amenities, poor communication, and completely avoidable discomfort made this a deeply unsatisfying stay.I would not recommend this property under any circumstances. Save your money and your sanity.
Everything was perfect location wise - the place was amazing. Based on this, would've been 5 stars! However, never received our check-in information or the key code for the house which was a major inconvenience when we got there. Had to call owner property manager over and over again until they answered to get the code ... even then never got check-in instructions.
The cabin itself is nice and has what you need for a weekend stay. It was an added plus to be able to bring our dogs as well. Communication from the host was mediocre at best. In my past experiences typically the host will reach out before the stay with check in details. About an hour before check in time I had not received any communication from the host, so I reached out. He responded fairly quickly to that inquiry and sent just the code for the door. During our stay there ended up being a bat in the cabin that we had to get out. When I messaged the host his response was âReally?!?! Thatâs weird. Iâm sorry.â We were understanding that these things happen but the lack of response from the host was not what we expected, especially since we disposed of it ourselves instead of asking him to come out.
