Venture deep into the Rocky Mountains to discover this vacation rental in the Historic town of Wallace, Idaho. You'll be walking distance from downtown and the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes bike trail. Hit the slopes at Lookout Pass or Sliver Mountain, then head into Wallace to one of the many shops and restaurants. Sleeps 12 guests with 7 beds.
Check in very easy. Location was great. We were here for the Wallace Huckleberry Festival and the house was easy walking distance. Also right by a grocery store. Lots of room and beds to spread out.
Great location with ample parking. I will be a little picky about a couple of things; table in master was not clean, no wash clothes in master and a dryer slap full of towels and throws not folded. I would still give it a 4.9.
Although there were only 3 of us, the house can sure sleep a lot of people! Had everything we needed (except maybe a hose outside for washing off bikesâŠthe Hiawatha was all mud in the tunnel!)
A really short walk to the grocery store and the Trail of the Coeur dâAlenes is right there too. Kitchen is well stocked with newer T-Fal pots and pans.
Great stay!
The home was great for our family of 10 and our baby. Everyone had their own room. The location is great because everything in town is only a 2 or 3 block walk from the property. The second bathroom is in the master bedroom, but for our family it was no problem. Just a little more traffic through the bedroom than usual. The home is not far from the Hiawatha Trail that we came to bike. So, the location overall was really good. We will definitely stay there again.
We had a great stay! The location was very close to the restaurants we wanted to go to. The beds were very comfortable. The parking was plentiful and we were able to park a few cars, bikes, and a boat on site. We will definitely stay here again if its available.
The size of this property was great for 6 adults and could even accommodate more. The location allows easy walking access to quaint downtown Wallace. We forgot to consider the different time zone upon arrival so we were early and the cleaning staff was there. They were running a bit behind but that was okay as we were able to walk downtown and explore a bit. We appreciated the large off street parking area.
Wallace is a cool little town and everything was only a few blocks away. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of dishes and glasses. The house and bathrooms were clean. Our trip was 4 guys and the house was perfect!
This home was comfortable for 8 family members to share over Christmas. There was plenty of room for togetherness and rooms to retreat from the day. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We were a group of 8 ladies from high school. The house was very clean, spacious and great to walk to town for dinner, drinks and shopping. Communication was good and check in was easy. It is an older but remodeled home with plenty of sleeping room. There is not central heating/cooling but two split cooling/heating units. Electric heaters were stored in the bedroom closets and used for heat in those rooms. Keep them on low to prevent the breakers from flipping. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall, I would return and rent this home again.
Good accommodations except electric outlets not working if both bedrooms have CPAP or other use. Downstairs issue. So some guests had to move to use CPap. Otherwise all was great!
5 couples met for a couple days of biking CDA trail. Location was excellent, within walking distance to everything in Wallace. Home was large enough to accommodate everyone and remodeled very nicely. Back room was an extra special bonus..space big enough to store our 6 ebikes. CDA trail just a block or so from house was nice also. Overall, a very good experience.
Two couples and a single lady here for two nights. Generally clean and well appointed. Upstairs bathroom is located in one of the bedrooms which made access for others inconvenient.
Home needs a couple of minor maintenance items addressed. TP holder in downstairs bathroom is about to fall off the wall and the faucet handles are loose. Refrigerator does not have an ice maker, but there is a grocery store within about a 100 yards to purchase ice. The refrigerator was clean, but the freezer really needs to be scrubbed. All appliances seemed to be pretty new and functioned as expected. Kitchen garbage bags provided were much smaller then the provided containerâŠthatâs a problem.
Any negatives as stated here, were minor and would not deter us from staying here again.
Suggestions:
Bedrooms could us wall hooks for clothes and luggage racks/benches for suitcasesâŠthere wasnât convenient guest storage.
Full bedroom on main needs closet rods.
Bathrooms could use more wall hooks for towels.
The home was very clean and perhaps cuter in person than in pictures. Place is set up very well for skiers or cyclists with place to store all your gear and bikes. Smart set up for that. Overall we had a nice time being back in our home town!
Great home, beautifully done. Plenty of rooms and real beds with comfortable mattresses. Parking off street for multiple cars is so nice! Location was perfect, truly walking distance to the whole town. Just minutes from great hiking and 30 minutes to Hiawatha trail.
We were there to bike ride the Hiawatha trail and the trail of Couer d Alene and also to relax. The location was perfect for both, and to walk to a restaurant for dinner. The house was very clean, provided everything we neededâeven a washer and dryer!
We will definitely be back!
Loved every bit of it. 20 min to Hiawatha, great city to stroll. Pulaski hike just a few miles out of town was so amazing. Donât skip this property. We had 7 adults and 5 kids. Easily fit in beds available.
