Very clean plenty of parking loved the pool and spa .25 mile from closest bar great dock for your boat this is our second time renting this property last nice watched an eagle out back while by the pool! Will be back very quiet and peaceful

Everything thing you need to cook and enjoy your time there is provided!! Pool and hot tub absolutely amazing!! So close to everything else in town as like bars restaurants general store just pack your close stop at Publix grab a few things and enjoy paradise.

This place is so adorable. The interior design is tropical-chic, comfortable and the owners have thought of every possible thing you might need (even things we didn't know that we needed!) The views are incredible. During our stay we saw dolphins, manatees and 6 bald eagles. The pool and spa are wonderful. Pine Island is beautiful and the people are so nice. This location is within walking distance to restaurants. In the future, we will rent a golfcart for extra fun! I highly recommend booking this place asap.

The area was very quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor area with the pool & hot tub.. The house was very clean & Florida themed decorations It was nice to have the canal view close. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend it

This is a lovely retreat house. The decor and ambience is beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere. Easy walk to General Store and restaurants. Felt safe at all times.

Great property, extremely clean, and great pool area. Linda was great to work with. As host myself, I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to relax and enjoy the island.

The house was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay. The decorations really gave the Florida vibe. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. St James City is a great little town.

Pine Island Get Away

Stayed a week. Enjoyed the location. We saw manatees and dolphins swimming in the channel. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Enjoyed evenings under the stars within the screened in patio.

Great stay!

We came from Wisconsin to get a break from winter, and we were not disappointed. The house looks just like the pictures and was very clean and homey. The hot tub and pool were great. We loved being on the canal and even saw some manatees. We enjoyed many local restaurants and took Island Girls Charters to Cabbage Key Island and North Captiva. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. It’s a great stay for couples. We would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect for my teen daughter and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as we were visiting friends who have recently moved to the island. The property is within the limits for golf carting which allowed our friends to pick us up via golf cart. There were many thoughtful extras like febreeze in the bathrooms. Many extras we did not use but it was nice to know they were available if the need arose. The deck near the dock was convenient for cleaning shells we had found at various places we visited by boat. The hose and spray nozzle could use replacing but it got the job done. Sitting poolside under the lanai as the sun rose was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the entire home met all of our needs.I wish we had received check-out instructions with check-in instructions. The instructions were received after the trash had run, we could have put the trash out by the street had we known sooner. Luckily we have stayed in many VRBO’s over the years so I cleaned out the refrigerator, washed all dishes we had used, and took the trash out prior to our departure. I was a bit uncomfortable with the camera poolside but understand the need to make sure no one is misusing the property, including the dock/boat lift. I imagine it is helpful to keep tabs on weather, too. Overall, we were loved our stay here and hope to return.

Saint James City Gem - Very nice and clean!

We had a really nice stay at the "Blue Marlin"! The house is an extremely clean and newly renovated older Florida home with a larger frontage cul-de-sac lot on a canal. This cleanliness was greatly appreciated as it's how we like our own home. If you appreciate a nice clean home then this is the place. It was just my wife and I and our 2.5mo old infant. I appreciate that they made the exception being a small infant and not children running around which I wouldn't want if it was my house. The place is set up with two master bedrooms and is very spacious and would be perfect place for two couples. The pool area was very nice and we mostly used the jacuzzi. It was a little on the cooler side weather wise when we were there but were able to heat the pool to a comfortable temperature. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances one could need and more. If I were to make a few changes it would be to leave some cupboards empty to be able to store food, have some basic cleaning products/supplies available to those that stay and want to keep it clean, and to remove or be able to cover the camera that faces the pool. There's quite a few cameras around the property. We never did anything or would do more than pg but we found that camera uncomfortable and not necessary for security. With that being said I would most certainly stay there again but would ask to cover that pool area camera.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a perfect week relaxing at this home. It is updated with a nice coastal feel and furnished with everything needed for guests to feel right at home. The pool area and canal views are beautiful and the neighborhood is peaceful. We would absolutely stay again!
