We came for the birthday celebration. We could not have chosen a better place for our visit. Great ocean views and easy walking access to the beach. My personal favorite was waking up at 6 and watching the ocean waves and the sunrise. Just delightful! My kids made a full birthday dinner for us and found everything they needed in a well-equipped kitchen

Great location and HOA amenities, but we had some issues during our stay. We were notified upon check-in that the hot tub was broken and would be repaired in a couple of days. It was finally repaired on the 5th day of our 7 night stay. When we contacted the owner to request a deduction in the nightly rate due to the hot tub being out of order we received NO RESPONSE. FYI, we contacted VRBO when we returned home and were informed that we needed to contact VRBO directly PRIOR to check out in order to facilitate a rate reduction. We were very patient as there was a leak that we repaired under the kitchen sink at check in, an inoperable screen door, no closet or dresser in the master and a screw sticking out of the lower deck flooring.

Beautiful home great view. Celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday with a group of 4 adults and her. House was super comfortable and has every amenity you can think of. We will be back!

Clean, modern and a very comfortable place to stay. Very welcoming with wine chocolates and nuts provided which was very much appreciated after a long drive. The home was very well appointed and you did not lack for anything to enjoy your visit. The proximity to the beach is outstanding. You walk out the door and it’s right in front of you. The hot tub was wonderful and calming after a long day at the beach or sight seeing. The book they provide gave numerous options to go visit including restaurants making it easy to plan your time. You won’t be disappointed if you chose this home for your stay.

We had a nice stay overall. The house was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with a decent selection of cooking supplies, which made it easy to prepare meals during our stay.One thing to be aware of is that the property is quite remote. If you’re looking for restaurants, shopping, or a variety of activities nearby, the adjacent towns don’t offer much. It’s a great place if you’re seeking peace, quiet, and a getaway from the crowds, but those wanting lots of things to do may want to plan day trips or come prepared to spend most of their time at the house.Communication was great and the goodies were appreciated.

This property was perfect! It was very close to the pool area and having our own hot tub was so nice. Everything was provided from beach chairs to beach towels. The kitchen has top of the line appliances. We had a great time!

Beautiful place on the bay

Had an initial issue with getting access to the property after hours but once that was resolved everything else was superb. Beautiful property in an amazing, quiet and discreet private community. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Amazing getaway

We have never stayed in a completely remote location before, but this one was stunning, beach walks no light pollution and peace.
We even found a whale bone on the beach

Great location

This was an unbeatable beachfront location with great upgrades and cleaned spotlessly. The property came with everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The private hot tub was also perfect.

I was excited to share this review because I know when I am looking for a place to stay, it really makes a difference when someone gives a great review with details. ;-) I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this property was by far the best one so far. It was perfect, it was clean and the owners have thought about every little detail. We literally found NOTHING wrong with the place. It is beautifully decorated, the beds are so comfortable AND the fact that it has 3 bathrooms is a big plus. The location is amazing, quiet, peaceful and you could already hear the sound of the ocean as soon as you started walking towards the property. Once you got inside, there was not a lack of ocean views at all. We slept with the windows open at night just to beable to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. I highly recommend this property...you will not be disappointed. As I mentioned, there is not one detail the property owners didn't think about to make your stay all that you hoped for.

Weekend away with friends

We had a lovely weekend away. Very nice place with the most magnificent view. Although the weather changed a lot there was lots to do in the area and just hiking on the beach was great. Looking forward to staying there again.

Family time

We had a really nice stay even though it wasn’t really beach weather! We loved walking on the beach , driving to Mo terry and Santa Cruz! A great house in. Nice location!

Great location for a getaway

I spent a few days here with my parents and ten-year-old son. The views from the house are amazing, and we saw some sea lions playing in the waves. The beds and living room furniture are all extremely comfortable, and it has everything you would want in a vacation house. We would certainly come back!

Beach house

Loved walking from back door to beach walks enjoying birds and ocean sounds..very peaceful. Close to Monterey Aquarium and 17 mile drive..both fun family activities. House fulfilled all our needs and hot tub was great after long hours sight seeing and walking.

Great place, perfect getaway

It had been years since we had been to Monterey Dunes. It is such a wonderful place. This unit is beautifully decorated and updated with great views and easy access to the beach. The property manager was very helpful in making sure we got in easily and were comfortable. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Fantastic Family Vacation

The property was just what we were looking for to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. It was clean, updated, comfortable and you can’t beat the location. Close enough to Monterey and Carmel for a day trip but our favorite day was spent at the house and the beach out the back door. The property manager was fantastic and super responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views of the Pacific

This is a well appointed and updated condo at the dunes. Utensils , glasses, and plates were in short supply.
