Great spot!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. From the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special highlight was the homemade cookies the host brought over—such a warm and personal touch! They were absolutely delicious and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-maintained place to stay.

Great value

Loved the place. The location and value can't me beat.. Nick was always available and even helped us build a fire in the firepit. Oh and the cookies were delicious!

Sibling trip in DC.

Had a wonderful stay right outside of DC with my brother and sister for our yearly trip. We are all over 56 and enjoyed walking the Mall and seeing the historic sites of the area. Nick was great! There was excellent communication and his recommendations were fantastic. We rented a car but usually to a Lyft wherever we went inside DC site to the traffic and expensive limited parking. The weather was perfect. The house was equipped for everything we needed and clean. Highly recommend this rental if you are staying in the area. Thanks again, Dan.

One night getaway

We came to DC for a concert and needed a one night accommodation. We were incredibly pleased with the location, the space, cleanliness, care from our host, and amenities. Would be happy to stay again!

Simple Stay in DC

The home was clean and welcoming. The living room and kitchen are on a smaller side, tough. The host we very kind in bringing us homemade cookies and remembered that we were there to celebrate my son's graduation by placing a congratulations balloon. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard. Great place to stay near the nation's capital!

Nick was the most responsive and accommodating host we have ever dealt with! He was genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay. An Uber ride from this location to downtown DC was only 15 on average. You can expect extra air traffic including Marine 1 flying overhead because you're THAT CLOSE to the action! (Expect city noises and odours as you're in the city.) Beds were very comfortable although 2 of the 3 are low for older guests. We had zero issues with safety or security during our stay.

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful and well kept. Nick went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. He even baked us hot and fresh chocolate chip cookies. Phenomenal host! Thank you, Nick!

Great stay

This place was a great place for our quick trip to Washington DC. The space was clean, very comfy, and close to all the dc attractions. The host was extremely friendly and very quick to respond to all my questions. He also made us some fresh delicious cookies. Everything about this place was great. I will definitely stay here again.

Washington DC weekend trip

Lovely, quiet home. Our host was wonderful! We had an emergency with our granddaugther and Nick was very quick to reponse with supplies and understanding! Very close to downtown and easy to navigate. Cute backyard space! And homemade cookies that were delicious! Thank you for a great visit!

Just right!

Property was easy to find, convenient parking, and walking distance to a bus stop. Home was spotlessly clean and the host Nick was very easy to communicate with. It was perfect for our stay in DC. Very highly recommended, and look forward to booking again.

Great hospitality

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Shortly after arriving, even though it was late, the hosts came and greated us with a welcome package. They even helped us get my mom out of the car and into the house since it was raining and we didn't have our umbrella.

We loved the house. Very clean and updated. We were very comfortable there after a long day in DC. The owners went above and beyond, and brought us homemade chocolate chip cookies, which was very sweet. They were delicious, and we love them.

Plenty of space with 4 teens

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet and simple air b&b in DC. The neighborhood was safe and there was free parking right outside the door. Our family, which includes four teens, slept comfortably in the big bedrooms. The outdoor space was so cute, we wished the rain had held off so we could enjoy it more. And of course, the huge, warm cookies where delicious (we'd LOVE the recipe)!

I’d go back to Simple Stay

Nick was amazing to deal with. He’d always answer messages in minutes. We forgot an item but we’re still exploring DC after check out. He contested us and met as to make sure we got it back. The house was super clean and nice. The beds were comfy. The back yard was great.

Midweek DC visit

We decided to visit DC to tour some museums and monuments with our teen girls. The house was conveniently located, clean, well appointed, and a great value. The mattresses were very comfortable and the private backyard with fire pit, was a nice touch. We were able to park right outside the front door, the neighbors were super friendly, and Nick arrived with delicious, fresh baked cookies soon after we unloaded the car. He even went the extra mile to do some research, and recommend nearby pizza restaurants for us. Overall, a great experience and stay. We would highly recommend you stay at Simple Stay.

Awesome!

We absolutely enjoyed staying here at this property. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. They went above and beyond any other VRBO we have ever stayed at. They were quick to respond to anything we needed and were super helpful in directing us to transportation. We are from a rural small town, so navigating the city is something we just weren't accustomed to. We found the easiest way to travel was by the metrorail. We ended up driving to a station and parked all day. When we first started the booking process, we asked if they had a pack 'n play and a highchair for our baby. They did not at the time but also did not hesitate to make sure we had one set up when we arrived. After we got settled in, they brought us some fresh baked cookies. The property itself was very simple and clean, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit DC.
