The brightest house on Main Street in Historical Downtown Louisville, CO. Originally built in 1908 for coal mining families. With a kitchen addition in 1963, this house has kept its integrity of the original build plus an updated beach vibe paint job. Bolt UpâĄïž Located in the heart of Downtown Louisville, itâs the full Main Street Experience. Local eats, shops, parks and trails only steps away. The epic front porch and unique backyard features an all ages space for whatever your group desires.
Host was very responsive and the house was great! Had everything we needed and was conveniently located right on Main St in town. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.
Such a fun house, within walking distance of downtown. Great amenities, backyard is so nice, hosts are easy to communicate with. Overall wonderful experience.
We traveled from Seattle for a wedding and the Charger house turned out to be the perfect home base for our group. The owners, Conner and Collin, were kind, helpful and attentive to any questions we had. You could tell they cared greatly for this special place. The location could not have been better with shops and cafes just a few feet away
Property is located right on main st USA. Fantastic little downtown full of charm. Clean and such a fun home! We enjoyed our time greatly and would love to come back in the future. Located super close to Boulder and Denver.
We had a blast staying at the charger house! My wife and two small kids really loved the bright colors, friendly town and fresh CO air! We would definitely stay here again and would encourage anyone that's wondering about stay here to do so!
The house was perfect location. We were able to walk to restaurants and around downtown.
My 2 children ages 9 and 4 made full use of the playset out back. We spent alot of time exploring and this was a good base for our week.
This place is the brightest on the block! Such a fun home! The colors brightened each day, the neighborhood is super historic, the home was welcoming and made it easy for my mother with Dementia to stay there too! The yards (front and back) were absolutely perfect for my dogs! Being able to sit on the porch and relax was so nice! Loved it!
Went out to Colorado with my husband and dog to visit our kids and grandkids who live in Lafayette for the week. This property was perfect for all of us. The fenced in yard for the dog to run around. The park at the end of the road was great for walks as well as the connection to the Coal Creek Trail. Being in the heart of downtown Louisville, you can easily walk to restaurants and local breweries. It was a great trip and would definitely consider staying here again
This is funky property that had more than enough space for our family of two adults and one teen. The furniture, etc. is dated but the entire place was spotless which I appreciated. For us the best part of this house was the location. Louisville is an adorable town and the house was in walking distance to all the coffee shops, restaurants, shops and the amazing Farmerâs Market. In addition, it was easy and convenient to take the RTD Dash bus to CU- Boulder. We would definitely stay here again!
The stay was very good. We didnât have the best weather to really get out and explore the areas. The house was nice for the age of property. It was close to dining and some shopping. We will definitely go back to the area.
I didnât have a need to contact property manager.
I felt the house needs a deep clean especially the carpet and furniture coverings after back to back bookings. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
The Charger House is a great place to stay given its location to Louisville and proximity to Boulder.
The Metz brothers are awesome and after staying at their former home you feel like you joined the family.
The house is a bit quirky but quaint. You will discover you have everything you need. The colors on the outside and inside are bright and cheery. My family and I loved staying there.
The hosts are wonderful and easy to contact.
If you are going to a CUB event, this place is about 20 minutes from campus with no traffic.
Weâll be back!
Amazing place with great hosts, a fantastic place for kids. It is conveniently located just a block from downtown Lousiville with numerous excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and a few stores, exceptionally cute in the evening decked out for Christmas. Even the house had Christmas decorations to ensure we were in the mode, including an inflatable Santa out front which our kids loved. Lousiville well located away from Boulder and Denver, but still easy to get to both. The hosts were very accommodating and prompt, providing a stair gate and a drying rack; Collin came first thing in the morning after the big snowstorm to clear the paths.
The Charger House was absolutely amazing & perfect for our family get together! We made wonderful memories cooking jambalaya on the working vintage stove (which was awesome) & walking to the Sweet Cow for ice cream down the street! Plenty of room, extremely clean & just by reading the Welcome book you can tell it is a well-loved & cared for home. We would definitely stay here again & loved the town of Louisville!
Being on Main Street, you are in the heartbeat of Downtown. Three properties north is your first tap-house then comes coffee, bread, shaved ice, local shops, an underground arcade and restaurants in abundance. Depending on the season there is always something going on from live music to art shows. Three beautiful parks are with in a half mile along with access to Coal Creek Trial. Conveniently located only 10 miles from Pearl Street Mall in Boulder and 20 miles from 16th Street Mall in Denver. If you are into mountain sports the first ski resort is within an hour drive. For rock climbing a drive to the mountains is 20 minutes away. One of the best music venues in the nation is only 30miles south at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. For sporting events, Folsom Field in Boulder is a 16 minute drive and Ball Arena in Denver is a 25 minute drive. Denver International Airport is 30 minutes away via toll road.
If you are staying in the Downtown Louisville area, walking or biking is best. The Bus service is great from here to Boulder and Denver. Your own vehicle is best if exploring the mountains.
