H Street Retreat is a unique and quaint little bungalow filled with historic charm and western character. My personal home, which I open to guests while I travel, sits in the heart of one of Montana’s most vibrant and artistic western towns. Located within walking distance of downtown Livingston’s restaurants, shops, galleries, and live music, it’s the perfect home base for both adventure and relaxation.


Welcome to H Street Retreat — my personal home that I lovingly open to guests while I travel. This cozy early-1900s bungalow is full of western charm, creative energy, and thoughtful details that make it feel warm, lived-in, and inviting from the moment you walk through the door.

Designed for writers seeking inspiration, musicians chasing creativity, and friends or couples looking for meaningful connection, the home blends vintage character with modern comfort. Original hardwood floors, preserved banisters, and historic cabinetry still shine throughout the space, giving the home a timeless and authentic feel.

The Space

The home comfortably sleeps 3 guests inside the main house, with:

1 Queen bedroom
1 Twin bedroom
1 camper for kiddos or 1 adult

The bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its own unique style and personality. (Please watch your head while navigating the stairs — the roof slopes slightly in this historic bungalow.)

Music is a huge part of the soul of this home, and vintage records line the walls creating a nostalgic and inspiring atmosphere. After a long day skiing, hiking, fishing, or exploring the mountains, sink into warm flannel sheets and cozy bedding for a restful night’s sleep.

Bonus Outdoor Retreat

The backyard has been completely remodeled into a magical outdoor gathering space featuring a vintage camper with:

Additional full bed for 2 guests
Pull-down bunk for kiddos only (no adults on the bunk please!)

Perfect for summer adventures or extra guests traveling together.

Living & Dining

The living room is set up for connection and comfort — ideal for card games, dance parties, sharing stories, or simply kicking your feet up after a day outdoors. A Bose speaker is ready for pairing so you can set the soundtrack for your stay.

Cook memorable dinners in the kitchen, share wine around the dining table, or enjoy your morning coffee at the cozy high-top breakfast nook.
