Home with a spring-fed pond and mountain view.

Entry hall with closet and washer/dryer. Leading to the kitchen (fully stocked) and pantry. Opening up to the living room and dining area. The windows and sliding door to the porch overlook the spring fed pond with koi fish and the mountain view. You’ll also see my horse barn(future chicken coop for fresh eggs) and the orchard I’m growing. The living room has a daybed with a pull out trundle bed offering two twin beds with memory foam mattresses. Smart TV mounted and a very strong wifi signal. Bathroom is located upstairs and is fully stocked. Upstairs bedroom has a king size bed and walk-in closet. There is a gas grill on the porch and a fire pit on the property as well. Private parking. Minutes from all the shops and restaurants in town and only a short drive to Bromley and Stratton ski resorts. No cleaning fees or pet fees.

We enjoyed our trip in Vermont this past week in the Brown Guest House. Jeremy was a great host. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and breakfast foods, including fresh eggs from his own chickens. We met and played with his friendly dog, and for us that was a highlight of our trip. The house is cozy, and what we wanted in a getaway.

Great place! Felt very private even though the owner is next door you would never know he was there. Amazing little space with great views! Other reviews mentioned well stocked fridge and cabinets and it was even more above and beyond then I would have thought! I would definitely not stay anywhere else if I come back to manchester!

This property has such a stunning back yard. The little house was very cute although it needs a bit of TLC in a couple of places. Otherwise, it was comfortable. The host was wonderful and he left us so many nice additions such as farm fresh eggs, snacks, coffee and fresh flowers. Manchester is pretty and a quaint, quiet location.

Jeremy is the most friendly host and his dog Dakota is the cutest! The cottage looks exactly like the photos and all the food you see in the photo of the fridge is really there. Getting to feed the koi was an added bonus. There is nothing we lacked during our stay. The Mountain View is awesome and it’s so close to shopping stores and fine dining restaurants! Getting to bring our dog was another bonus. I totally recommend this little brown cottage and we plan to return!

We enjoyed our stay immensely especially the the koi pond and the Vermont landscape including the farm. Jeremy is a wonderful host. We were not prepared for how well stocked the refrigerator was - the very fresh eggs were really a treat. Thank you very much!

We wanted an affordable place we would feel comfortable bringing our 6 y/o and aging dogs to, and this was perfect. Honestly, if the host, Jeremy, and his pup, Dakota, weren't so charming..well, I'd probably still give it 5 stars, but they truly made the trip a memory to cherish. And the generously-stocked kitchen when we arrived almost had me shedding tears of gratitude! The town and surrounding area provided so much to do and I regret we only checked a handful off the list. Definitely visit the playable pinball museum and get yourself bread and treats at Earth Sky Time up the road. And make reservations at The Crooked Ram or you will never, ever get to eat there (like us ). We'll be back!

Let me start by saying Jeremy was very nice and it showed he wanted you to have a nice stay. He went out of his way to leave food for you (full breakfast and snacks), plenty of toiletries and paper goods. He answers questions quickly too.The view and koi fish were great!The place needs some attention. The livingroom furniture is fine, bed and bedding comfy. However, bathroom is in need of renovation badly. It's very warn. Kitchen is functional but also needs updating. Windows were hard to open and close because they were old and rotted.I did inform Jeremy after our visit of some things he let go. He was quick to reply about replacing some pans in the kitchen and new towels because the others didn't absorb water at all. He does care.

This cabin n is more than a place to stay. It is a relaxation destination. The Host provides all that is needed for a full breakfast including fresh eggs directly from his own chickens. The koi pond is mesmerizing. And then when you do decide to see the surrounding area you are not far from town or hiking. I really recommend this cabin if you are look to relax not far from the beaten path.

We stayed in this sweet little cottage for the weekend. Cottage is clean and extremely well equipped. Host goes above and beyond stocking the kitchen. Fresh eggs included. The pond is stocked with coi and he supplies fish food. You will not be disappointed.

We loved it, a really beautiful property! A great deal, great communication, more stocked than any VRBO I've ever been in, - including multiple fresh fruits, zip locks, coffee & creamer, eggs, bacon, etc. Pet friendly was a big bonus for us, the koi fish and sunsets/sunrises and rainbows made it so special. This is a place I could photograph again and again and it'd never get old. It made the downtime from exploring really awesome!

What a joy this place is! Beautiful views, nice patio to view the mountains and pond. We felt so welcome. We were surprised to find the fridge stocked and a plethora of snacks and food for breakfast. We absolutely loved the koi fish pond, and love having the opportunity to feed the fish at the dock. Such a neat experience. Many birds in the back to watch and listen. There is also a path to a chicken coop in the back yard (it was quiet, but fun to walk over to it). It is a 5 min drive to the start of the trail to Equinox Summit, and 15 min to some other good trails. Can’t say enough good things.

Such a stunning property! We stayed for over a week and it was perfect! Great location and the house had everything you might need. Jeremy also included fresh eggs and other breakfast items which made us feel extra cared for!I would highly recommend staying here.

The property and home were just as advertised. It was a great space for our two dogs and us. The pond in the mornings was beautiful to look out at. Jeremy was a great host, supplying snacks, breakfast items, drinks, coffee, etc... the best stocked fridge I've ever had at a VRBO. The location is perfect to downtown Manchester and a bunch of local things to do, like Equinox Valley Nursery and Mount Equinox. We had a great time and loved staying there.

Great Stay

House is in a very good location; only a few minutes to shopping, restaurants, and attractions (Hildene is < a mile from the house). We hope we'll be able to go back again!
