Host was very quick with responding. Morning sunrises were absolutely amazing. This is a very nice place to stay. While we didn’t use the pool, which is a very short walk away, it is spectacular as everything was so clean and tidy and the pool is huge! We definitely would come back here if we ever return to the Florida Keys!

Good location. No dining room table, so meals at a counter were disappointing. A couple of small maintenance issues that were eventually addressed. Could definitely has more dishes, glasses, silverware, pots/pans so we would not have to do dishes constantly.

Ho Kevin - Glad you and your party enjoyed. Our photo gallery shows both the living room and kitchen in detail and the custom counter allows for as many as 6 people to comfortable sit and socialize while preserving space in our living room - both overlooking the ocean. Our system provides our 24/7 contact info (found in 4 of our messages and our Welcome Guide). Thanks for letting me know about the kitchen supplies. Our housekeeper regularly does an inventory after each guest checks out but you never know if some guests just take souvenirs...or have an "oops" event. Safe travels.

Terrific Tavernier getaway!

This place was perfect for our stay. As an older person I loved the walk-in shower with grab bar; enough private space for our teenage daughter; loved having access to washer&dryer. Lovely view of water, pool only short walk across parking lot, very clean. Owner was responsive to communications. If we ever get to the Keys again, we would stay here again.

Made our vacation perfect!

My husband and I bring our kids to Ocean Pointe every year and this year I decided to find a property through a private owner instead of going through the management company at Ocean Pointe. I'm so glad I did. The condo is adorable, it's clean, functional and it's in the best location. The twin beds in bedroom 2 were perfect for our kids. The king bed for us was super comfortable. A washer / drying is a must for us and we used it many times. There's leftover household cleaning items left from others which is great, we leave some behind every year as well. A vacuum and broom with dust pan are also available. Remember to bring towels for the pool.Check in was a snap. Communication was immediate. I'm so glad the pool bar and grill is back up and running. You can not beat the views from the balcony. Loved our stay and will be back!

Host is responsive, the view is amazing, and this unit is conveniently located by the elevator. We were not able to utilize the balcony as we were strictly prohibited to access it due to building repairs. This unit could use a good cleaning (dust on fixtures, broken glass in the dish cabinet, utensils and cookware still had food on them). The hair conditioner unit is still broke in the owners bathroom. We were lucky enough not to have neighbors most of the week because once they arrived, you could hear them above you (moving chairs around all night) and next door (loud tv). Pool is huge and rules for the pool area and tennis courts are not enforced, which I guess is good for people who have pets (seen dogs and a pet bird hanging out on pool deck and tennis court areas). Overall, it wasn’t horrible but don’t think I would stay in this particular unit again.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. While the unit is professionally cleaned after each guest departs, I appreciate hearing about any thing they may have missed like the items you mentioned - which will be addressed. As this was our first balcony issue under new laws, we were first advised that only those units (not ours) which specifically needed repairs would be affected. Unfortunately, when work began the inspector advised that all balconies required restricted access until the job was completed. Our association employs 24/7 security, who are accessible on site to ensure commons rules such as no pets at the pool (only owners may have small pets on site) and loud neighbors (we cant control other units, but we do have stated "quiet" hours) are enforced. I hope you will consider our tropical paradise your next trip to our fabulous Florida Keys.

Nice condo but a couple of issues

We liked the condo, Very clean and well appointed. We had a lot of trouble getting the TV in the living room to work. Three remotes were on the coffee table and it was confusing which did what. Eventually we discovered dead batteries in one. It would have been very helpful if some written directions had been available. Also, the sound bar and “boom” boxes on the main TV were too strong for such a small space. It was very uncomfortable sound and we disconnected them. We were never able to get the bedroom TV to work. We also discovered the conditioner container in the master bath was broken…fell off the wall when pressed. The balcony was so very small and not very comfortable for sitting.

Great place, great location, great host! The sargassum grass situation wasn't ideal, but there is nothing the host can do about that. Could have been better water pressure and elevator, but the restaurant/bar and pool area were excellent. Also, the on-site boat ramp and dockage are very convenient for boat owners and anglers like us. Good times!

Very nice property

The condo was very nicely furnished, very clean and with all the amenities one could want. The location was very nice and was close to some very good restaurants. I would suggest the only reason we did not give this a 5 star rating was there was a lot of construction going on on the property grounds that we were unaware of. It wasn't a hinderance however it was a bit unsightly. The pictures were a bit deceiving as the outdoor deck was much smaller than what it appeared in the pictures, basically, two people can sit with little room to maneuver. Other than that, the view was awesome, the pool was beautiful and the beach area was comfortable. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

Glad you enjoyed. Unfortunately, nothing we could do about the building maintenance. Due to the labor market, we never truly know when projects will be worked on and when they near completion. The maintenance work is currently limited to just the underneath the building. Yes, our patio/deck with those stunning 180 degree ocean views is designed for two people with two chairs and a small table. We value your comments and pride ourselves on the accuracy of our current photo gallery which is updated annually.
