Beautiful home with great space, Needs better maintenance

We stayed at the Surfer Girl house in Beachwalk and really appreciated the beautiful design and spacious layout, which worked perfectly for our large group. The many bedrooms with comfortable beds and bedding were a big plus, and the large dining table was a favorite spot for shared meals and games. The natural light from the many windows was lovely, and we loved the locationâjust far enough from the main pool and activity areas to be peaceful, but still walkable to everything.That said, the home wasnât maintained as well as we would have expected. The kitchen was a bit small and lacked some essentialsâthere were plenty of plates, silverware, and glasses, but only two food serving bowls and the pans were old and in poor condition (we had to line them to use them). The freezer was broken upon arrival, and while the owners were aware, it made food storage difficult during our stay.We also noticed several maintenance issues: the toilet paper holder was off the wall, the floors were dirty, the screen on the patio door was broken, there were no bathroom rugs, and the curtain & towel fixtures on the 3rd floor were barely attached.Despite these issues, the overall space is amazing and we still had a great time. We love Beachwalkâthis was our second stay and we definitely plan to return. With some attention to maintenance and kitchen updates, this house could easily be a five-star stay.
