We had a fabulous weekend. The kayaks and quick trips to the river were fantastic. The dollies for for the kayaks were helpful. Loved this little piece of heaven.
Clean and comfortable bungalow close to Rainbow River and springs
The bungalow was clean and well equipped. The location was very close to the river and the state park for Rainbow Springs. Access to KP hole county park was a great perk.
My husband and I visited here for our 13th Anniversary/ 4th of July holiday. We had an awesome stay here! Very clean and comfortable, great access to the Rainbow River at KP Hole and all the amenities of home! We would highly recommend!
Took 2 of our G-kids to explore the Rainbow River & having the kayaks made the trip so much more fun & easier the home was clean & well equipped for a great time on the river we all loved the home and would definitely recommend staying here
This place was great. Very uncluttered and neutral so you donât feel like your staying at Grandmas house with all of her chachkies. Beds comfy. Kitchen and bathrooms were great. 0 complaints. Very clean!
Just a little over an hour from our home is rainbow River but we chose to stay the weekend. Bungalow M was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We only needed to bring the groceries. Great location close to stores and restaurants but tucked back in nature. A quick walk to KP Hole for kayak launch and we spent all day on the river. We will be back!
We loved how close this property is to the Rainbow River. We loaded up the kayaks in our car, dropped them off at the boat launch, then drove the car back and walked to the launch on the shortcut path. This was super convenient because parking is limited at the boat launch, so having a place to park nearby is essential. Very clean, very cozy, and we had a great time! However the kitchen utensils are a little limited (no oven mits, tongs, etc.) so be sure to bring the essentials if you plan on doing a lot of cooking.
Beautiful and clean property; spent lots of time on the patio and out by the fire. The common area is a little over run and there werenât any gas grills which was not what we were expecting when rainbow springs bungalows states grilling areaâŠ
There isnât any direct water access and is about a 10 minute walk. Passes are only good for boat ramp and not the park. I suggest bringing the kayaks in your car to drop off and returning the car back at the site and walking over to avoid traffic and no parking. No tubes unless you rent or hide them deflated in your kayak.
A Beautiful Bungalow a quick walk from Rainbow Springs
We booked this bungalow for Thanksgiving with another couple. The owner surprised us with the gift of a lovely card and apple pie. A lovely welcome! This bungalow is the prettiest one in the community in my opinion. It looks updated with beautiful finishes and furniture that was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The kayak trailers came in handy. We were able to walk to the spring in 10 minutes but once we got there we walked the trailers back because we did not want to leave them unattended. If you have multiple people to help I recommend having someone drive to the parking lot and storing them in the car while you kayak. The community amenities were great. The weather was not the best but we enjoyed sitting around the table on the covered porch. We loved this place and would definitely return.
My family and I had a great few days at the bungalow. The front porch facing the trees was beautiful to wake up to. The access to the KP Hole boat ramp and the provided kayaks made our trip. We also grilled a few nights on the charcoal grills in the common areas. The matresses in the bedrooms were comfy and the place was pretty clean. Keep in mind the lanyards only give access to the boatramp and not the actual park. You have to pay extra if you want to hang out or swim at the park. There were only a few very minor issues. There were no beach towels (I emailed the host and was advised prior guests must have taken them) so we had to use the bath towels. There was also a strange musty smell coming from under the sink that was pretty stronge every time we entered the bugalow but we got used to it. There was also a lack of pots to boil water in to make some of our meals. There was also no pot holders and only 5 forks even though it states the bungalow is for 6 people. Even with these minor issues we still had a nice time.
We were disappointed that the kayaks that have always been included in the stay were not and instead there was a 40 dollar a day rental fee for each one. House is exactly as pictured and described perfect for a family weekend get away. A lot more expensive now for a family that loves the water.
This is our second stay at this bungalow and it was perfect! Super clean and comfortable, all the amenities you could ask for with a family a four and KP was stunning. As usual
