Vue à couper le souffle. La maison en pierre a une grande cuisine luxueuse, une grande terrasse et une piscine à débordement d'eau salée en-suite. Il est rare de trouver la piscine comme une extension naturelle de la maison et de la terrasse. Cette magnifique maison en pierre sur 4 hectares de terrain privé avec vue panoramique sur le Val di Chiana, y compris LagoTrasimeno, est entourée d'un terrain de vignes et d'oliviers nouvellement plantés. "Persil, sauge, romarin et thym" à portée de main sur la terrasse pour votre cuisine italienne.

La maison est sur une colline au-dessus de Sarteano (à 2 km), une ville toscane traditionnelle et réelle avec 5000 habitants avec environ 10 restaurants, bars, supermarché, boucherie, boulangerie, boutique de pâtes fraîches.

La rénovation de A à Z a été achevée en juin 2016 et mise à jour au printemps 2019. La maison de 3 étages dispose de 3 chambres doubles (dont deux pouvant accueillir 3 personnes) et d'une chambre simple, 3 salles de bains, 1 WC, 1 douche extérieure. Cuisine luxueuse et confortable avec cheminée et une longue table en bois pouvant accueillir 10 personnes, salon avec balcon avec vue sur Val di Chiana, Lago Trasimeno et Chiusi. De la cuisine vous accédez directement à la terrasse équipée de salon de jardin et d'un grill. La piscine à débordement fait partie intégrante de la terrasse, d'où vous avez une vue imprenable sur la vallée. L'étage inférieur, qui a sa propre cuisine, convient à ceux qui veulent une unité quasi séparée.

La philosophie de la rénovation s'est concentrée sur les matériaux naturels en mettant l'accent sur le bois massif et le travertin. Style toscan avec un élément nordique et une "touche" du Moyen-Orient. Avec parquet en chêne massif et travertin, carreaux arméniens peints à la main, sanitaires Phillip Starck. Dessus de table en bois massif de 4 cm et poêle SMEG de 90 cm de large dans la cuisine. Chaque élément à l'intérieur a été soigneusement choisi par les propriétaires. De plus, certains sont spécialement conçus pour la maison.

Vous serez accueillis et récupérés par un connaisseur extrêmement sympathique de Sarteano, des baby-sitters ou des chefs privés peuvent être pris en charge directement. Le ménage a lieu en milieu de semaine.

Vous pouvez marcher derrière la maison dans la forêt ou faire du vélo, ou visiter des sites toscans comme. La Foce - célèbre pour son parc ou les villes à proximité: Pienza, Montepulciano, Sienne, Radicofani, Cetona, Chiusi. Bains chauds à Bagno Vignoni, San Casciano dei Bagni et San Filippo.

La maison est facilement accessible, à seulement 8 km. de la sortie Chiusi / Chianciano Terme de l'autoroute entre Rome et Milan, A1. Seuls les 300 derniers mètres. sont sur un chemin forestier. La gare de Chiusi est à 10 km avec des liaisons directes vers Sienne, Florence et Rome.

Une vue magnifique et une maison très bien équipée

La maison est très belle et très bien équipée. Rien à redire sur la propreté, tout était nickel. Il n'y fait pas trop chaud, même par 36° dehors. L'eau salée de la piscine n'est pas du tout un inconvénient. Il y a une douche extérieure. La piscine est ensoleillée du matin jusque dans l'après-midi. Le village tout proche de Sarteano est pratique (tous les commerces à proximité). Attention aux voitures basses pour l'accès a la maison, il faut emprunter un chemin de cailloux (cela ne nous a pas posé de problème).

We had a lovely two-week stay here with four adults and two children (5 and 3). This house is perfectly situated to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a country retreat with gorgeous views of the valley, while also being 20-90 minutes away from Tuscany’s best villages. This area is steeped in history and culture, wonderful food and wine, and natural beauty. There is plenty to do and see for adults and children. We were very sad to leave this morning. Jens is a communicative and attentive host. To note, the road up to the property is rustic, so be prepared with a good rental car.

Gorgeous Home

Communication with ownership was fantastic. The home is built with attention to detail and every inch luxurious. From the structure to the furnishings all first class. A fireflies are romantic. We saw a wild pig, toad and turtles. we enjoyed hanging our clothes out to dry on the clothes Lines. We cooked in this gorgeous kitchen, fantastic stove on large dining table and we ate in the most beautiful restaurants. The home is very spacious and well furnished four seasons quality linens. We highly recommend. housekeeping was a big bonus. The pool was super nice.

We absolutely loved Jen’s house - it is stunning.The views across the valley towards Chiusi, Lake Trasimeno & beyond are breathtaking. At daybreak, we watched the sunrise over the mountains in the distance as the morning mist rose from the fields below whilst, in the evening, sitting on the balcony as fireflies lit the garden was magical. The situation is completely private & so peaceful. There is plenty of shade available & the pool was much appreciated to cool off in and, again, afforded wonderful views.Inside, the house is characterful yet modern & very well equipped. All the rooms are very spacious and well furnished. There is an excellent coffee maker and plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a barbecue if you wish to cook at home. We stayed for nearly a fortnight, so really appreciated the two housekeeping visits with fresh linen and towels. Jens could not have been more helpful and both he and Lucia really helped to make our stay smooth and trouble free. We had not been to this immediate area before but really liked Sarteano. It is so friendly and we had some excellent meals here and enjoyed wandering the streets and practicing our Italian! Chiostro Cennini was superb - a beautiful setting. Bar I Diavoli was great for coffee & morning pastries. Lo Zio, the local supermarket, was delightful- great produce & so friendly. Further afield, there are also numerous fascinating places to visit.We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home.

Amazing week in an amazing house!

We had a really nice time in Sarteano and in the house. We were a group of friends and did a lot of dinners at the house (homemade pasta, pizza, bbq, etc) and the house was absolutely perfect for it. The kitchen was so well equipped and had great amenities so it was no problem cooking and prepping for a large group. Also, the rooms and the amount of bathrooms was way better than in any other house I've stayed at with larger groups because usually you have 1-2 full rooms and the quality and amount of bathrooms and bedrooms was unmatched in comparison to other places I've stayed at with larger groups. Just don't make the mistake of following Google maps up the mountain because there is a much better and easier path which is not on the maps and was shown to us by Lucia . Would def recommend this house to friends or even stay there again!

Fantastic holiday house

This house in Tuscany, located on the hillside in a forest with complete privacy, is a complete gem. The pictures show exactly the layout of this beautiful house, the views, and the infinity pool, which is a real luxury. In fact, it is obvious that much thought went into the planning and renovation of the place, radiating a feeling of high quality. We have stayed in many VRBO houses, and our family gives this place the highest score yet. The middle floor contains the kitchen and living room where people can get together, while the top and bottom floors have the bedrooms and bathrooms (the bottom floor can serve as a separate and more private unit if needed). The middle floor has one smaller bedroom and bathroom. The house is equipped with all that one would need. The village of Sarteano is a few minutes drive away. It's worth climbing up all the way to the castle, and up to its very top for the views. There is a Coop supermarket in town and a little further is a larger Pam with a little mall. The village is about 10 min off the major highway A1, and so is an adequate point for taking day tours in the closer villages and thermal baths, or to the more distant towns (Siena, Florence). The owner, Jens, is very responsive and welcoming, and so is Lucia who manages the place. Bottom line - super place for a family vacation.

Wonderful week in Tuscany

We had a fantastic stay at Jens and Lise’s villa. From the start, communicating with Jens was very easy. He’s prompt answering your questions to make the stay as easy as possible. As others have described, the villa sits high above the valley giving you spectacular views. We spent many late afternoons with local wine just staring out at the gorgeous countryside. The villa itself is very clean and comes with all necessary amenities. Even with extreme Tuscan temperatures, the air conditioning (and the pool!) kept us comfortable. Sarteano makes a great base for visiting some of the smaller, less crowded villages. I highly recommend the villa and Jens’ hospitality to anyone.

What a treat!

This property and the host are nothing short of exceptional. Our hopes were high for our stay here in Sarteano and our expectations were definitely exceeded. The photos of the house and landscape are impressive but experiencing this place first hand is breathtaking. This is a very special place in all of Tuscany and we are so grateful we were able to experience it. The house itself is top of the line, everything functions as it should, and every square inch is clean. Communication with the owner was stellar and Jens even provided some very useful recommendations for activities and eateries in the area. The road to get to the property is windy and bumpy but not long and very well worth it. We hope to return here someday! Thank you for everything.

Urlaub in Sarteano

Das Haus und die Lage sind einmalig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde dieses Haus renoviert und eingerichtet. Kompliment an den Gastgeber. In der wunderschönen Küche, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist, kann man prima kochen. Das haben wir auch häufig gemacht. Der Ort an sich hat uns aufgrund der wenigen Restaurants nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Aber das ist ja auch Geschmacksache. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuverlässig und freundlich. Die schriftliche Kommunikation hat bestens geklappt. Vielen Dank dafür!!! Dieser Urlaub wird uns immer in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Beste Grüße Katja

Splendid stay!

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this magnificent villa. The pictures accurately describe the beauty of this place but you truly need to see it to appreciate the magnificence of the villa and the surrounding countryside! The kitchen is beautifully stocked with excellent utensils and cookware as well as a state of the art coffee maker. The owner was responsive to any inquiries prior to booking and assisted with securing a private chef ( Assunta) for our final evening. We met with the property manager Lucia who guided us to the villa where we were greeted with a welcome basket! Such a nice personal touch! If you love to stream music there is a Bluetooth speaker which adds to the peaceful nature of this oasis. The weather was a bit cool for our use of the pool but the ambiance added to the tranquility of the surroundings. This villa is 5 star and exceeded our expectations!

Amazing property!

This villa far exceeded our expectations, and we were sad to leave! Communication with the owner was exceptional, and check-in was quite easy. The owner arranged a cooking class for us with Assumta during our stay, which was great fun - highly recommend this experience! The villa itself was well-appointed with everything you might need during a stay. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The views were amazing, with the villa situated on a forested hill overlooking a valley. We would highly recommend this villa for a trip to Sarteano!

Perfection

I highly recommend Jens Villa to anyone looking to visit Tuscany. From the moment we booked, Jens was incredibly helpful with any questions we had and always got back to us within a couple of hours. And the Villa……absolutely gorgeous. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The pool is a peaceful place to share a glass of wine, read a book and enjoy the view. We had many breakfasts outside by the pool as well as at the kitchen table by the fireplace. The Villa is so comfortable and so clean. It had absolutely everything we needed. Lucia, the Villa manager, is incredibly helpful. We met her as soon as we got to Sarteano. We had rented two cars and she showed us the route to the Villa and walked through the house with us. Dinner at Lucia’s family restaurant is a must. We had two delicious dinners there and we enjoyed spending time in such an interesting and beautiful place. Our evening in with Chef Assunta was yet another experience we will remember. Delicious and so nice to enjoy a night in with family. The location was perfect. Day trips to Siena, Assisi, La Foce Garden, and Montepulciano were so easy. We also enjoyed a wonderful wine tour through the Brunello region. We also spent some time walking around the beautiful town of Sarteano and found great places to shop for breakfasts and lunches we ate at the Villa. Great pizza and gelato as well!! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our week at Jens Villa. Thank you for everything!!

Amazing villa!

The villa is beautiful; very clean, spacious, with highly equipped luxurious kitchen and comfortable beds! The views from the villa are breath-taking and the pool area is lovey. The are many nice places to visit but we especially enjoyed Montepulciano, Cetona, the hot springs at Bagno San Filippo and the hike from the villa to Castiglioncello del Trinoro. Jens was extremely friendly, prompt with communication and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay at this property!

Magical stay in Sarteano

Our first trip to Tuscany and Sarteano is the sweetest village steeped in history and beauty. Jens is such a pleasant attentive host with a great team. The house is beautifully designed and comfortable with spectacular views and a stunning infinity pool set in the forest surrounding the property. Quite secluded which gave plenty of peace and tranquility yet nearby to the most charming village. We had a wonderful stay with our children of varying ages. Paradise in Sarteano

As soon as we saw the villa appear in its secluded location at the top of the drive, it took our breath away. We then opened the doors onto the balcony in the lounge and seeing the lakes, mountains and forests beneath us made us realise why we’d booked this villa. The week’s stay helped us recharge our batteries, idyllic and peaceful. The villa was well equipped, spacious and exceptionally clean. Sarteano centre is 2 miles away and has a lot to offer and easier by car due to the hill climb back to the villa. We explored many beautiful places during our stay: Montepulciano, Pienza, Casciano. We would definitely recommend this villa to others and wished we could have stayed longer.

Ruhige und schöne Lage in den Hügeln von Sarteano

Sehr gut ausgestattetes und geschmackvoll eingerichtet Ferienhaus. Neu eingebaute Klimaanlage. Toller Pool und sehr schöne Terrasse mit Ausblick. Wir haben uns dort alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den tägl. Bedarf und Restaurants sind in Sarteano vorhanden. Fahrt zu den Städten Arezzo und Cortona ca. 50 Min., zu Montepulciano und Castiglione Di Lago ca. 1/2 Std. Siena ist in gut 1 Std. erreichbar.

Charming villa!!

Beautiful Villa on the hillside overlooking Tuscany. Stunning views. Updated furnishings, a wonderful kitchen that opens onto the patio and glorious pool. We spent every night on the porch star gazing with a glass of wine. Short drive to town, close to Montepulciano and Pienza! Both Jens and Lucia were extremely friendly, prompt with communication and helpful. Lucia's restaurant was one of our favorite dinners out in Italy. We can't wait to come back!

A great experience in Tuscany

We really can't say enough positive things about our villa experience in Sarteano. The cool and quiet of the early morning and the great view of the sunrise were wonderful. The home is private and very comfortable and the refreshing pool was an enjoyable and frequent gathering spot for our family. Sarteano is charming and a great location to launch daytrips throughout Tuscany. The host and his local staff are exceptional and go above and beyond an excellent standard of service.
