The guest did not report any issues to us during or after his stay. If he needed more soap and shampoo, he could have simply requested that when we messaged him to make sure all was well, but he didn't mention it, which doesn't give us the opportunity to make things right. Most issues can be resolved with a quick message. The parking fee is and has always been noted in the third sentence of the listing description in caps. We do not set the parking fee. The condo association sets it and mandates it per the condo bylaws, which we have to follow to maintain our rental license. Trust me, we aren't a fan of the parking fee, either, but we have dropped our nightly rates to help absorb the cost, and we are extremely competitively priced. The listing page is the only way for us to communicate and set expectations, so please, please, PLEASE read the full listing page and click through all of the listing images prior to booking. Please also send any questions prior to booking. Just as much as you want to enjoy your stay, we want you to enjoy it as well. The best way to determine fit, is to read the full listing.

It was very evident, before the guest even checked in, that she did not read the listing description or go through the listing images. She asked a question that was literally answered in one of the first few sentences of the listing and complained about items that were clearly noted in the listing. The listing description and images are how we communicate what we provide in our unit, and what to expect in the unit and around the resort. We always encourage reading the entire listing description and flipping through all the listing images prior to booking, and asking any questions before booking, to make sure our unit is a good fit for you. Just as much as you want a vacation unit that's a good fit, we want renters that are a good fit as well, so it can be a mutually enjoyable experience. This is our vacation home that we rent, so it does have some personal touches, which we like to communicate, since we are not a hotel room that has been standardized to look like every other hotel room. Most of our guests understand and appreciate that, but when guests don't read even a few sentences in, it's very hard to set or manage expectations, unfortunately. The unit is exactly as pictured and described. We update our listing images and text every couple months to make sure everything is as up-to-date as possible, and we respond to questions within an hour on average.
