Bienvenue sur notre magnifique condo dans le populaire Maui sud au Kihei Akahi Resort! Notre condo a eu une rénovation majeure et tout était mis à jour. Nous avons remodelé la chambre à coucher, salle de bains, cuisine, salon et installé de nouveaux planchers partout. Tous les meubles et la literie ont été achetés neufs. La cuisine est très bien équipée avec des pots et des casseroles, ustensiles de cuisine, de l'argenterie et de la vaisselle. Il ya des chaises et des parasols, serviettes de plage et des planches de bodyboard ainsi que des mix et des engins match de la plongée en apnée pour votre commodité. Nous avons également inclus des raquettes et balles de tennis et vous pourrez jouer au tennis sur nos sur place des courts de tennis. Nous fournissons WiFi gratuit et les appels vers les USA et le Canada !!

CE CONDO ne vous décevra pas !!! Avec l'emplacement et les commodités que nous offrons, cela peut très bien être le meilleur condo d'une chambre EN VALEUR GLOBALE AU Kihei Akahi!

We really enjoyed the little extras provided. I don’t know if they always have them, but a few spices, coffee filters and some extra coral safe sunscreen were really appreciated. The beach chairs and towels were also appreciated.

I came to Maui for a short getaway. The condo was perfectly located to walk to the beach, coffee and restaurants. It was stocked with everything I needed for the beach.

Great location. Comfortable unit with a great kitchen and beach supplies. Tv was not working and batteries were needed in many items within unit.

Thank you for the review. The TV was replaced immediately after being notified with a brand new one from Costco. Also, as you mentioned the condo was well stocked with supplies and beach gear is in great working order.

Great place to stay

Just a short walk from the beach, plenty of things to do in walking distance or a short drive. A lot has been renovated nicely, the kitchen especially is great. Nice view of the beautiful courtyard.

Have stayed in this complex before and always seek out a unit here when we come to Maui. Location is ideal to a great beach and walkable to a variety of restaurants/shops. Condo was as described and pictured. Very nice.

I loved my time in this lovely condo. The location is perfect for beach access. Easy walking to close by restaurants & shopping. Kitchen was well appointed. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely return in the future.

Excellent location, well stocked condo for a great vacation

The condo had everything we needed, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys and the kitchen was well stocked included containers to take food in the cooler to the beach. The lanai was lovely for sitting out with morning tea/coffee. It is right across from Kamole Beach II and close to many restaurants we walked to. A perfect location for exploring the island.

Great newly renovated unit

We had another great stay at Kihei Akahi! Great location in Maui. This unit was newly renovated and very clean and nice. Even though it was +30C and only one a/c unit in the living room, it wasn't too hot in the bedroom. Nice cross breeze! The owner is very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Best one yet

This was our 4th visit to Maui and this was the best condo that we have stayed in. From the check in ( ladies very friendly and helpful). The condo was well stocked, anything you think you might need was already there. Beautiful view from the lanai. Beautiful barbecue area with 2 huge barbecues, tables, fridge, sink and microwave. Pool was a nice size, never crowed and the people staying at the complex were so friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Awesome Condo & Location

We stayed here for a month, and have no complaints. We will definitely stay here again. The queen bed with a topper is very comfortable. This unit by far had the best equipped and stocked kitchen we have ever had in a condo. The condo has ample storage for a months stay. We only turned the air on for 3 days of our stay. The unit has a really great cross-breeze. Use the stepladder in the utility closet to open the windows in the bedroom. The peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the lanai is just enough. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Perfect location to the pool/bbq area and a 5 minute walk to an awesome swimming beach and amazing sunsets. There are many restaurants nearby. Fred's Mexican Cafe is great for cocktails and meals and is next to the condo complex.

Fantastic Location

Aloha! There were many things that were great about this property. For us, at the top of that list is that we found that the location was fantastic. Being right across the street from Kamaole Park/Beach II was super handy. Sure there are better beaches on Maui, but we ended up spending most of our beach-time at Kamaole II. Decent snorkelling, not crowded, lifeguard on duty, great sand and gorgeous sunsets there. Only have a couple hours for the beach one day?. . . . it's only about 250 steps away. The condo itself provided very good value and the pictures don't really give you an idea of how roomy it actually was. It was very well stocked with everything in the kitchen. Beach chairs, great beach towels and a cooler were also very handy. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus, as was the air conditioning. Having an assigned parking spot was very convenient as well. Took some exceptional pictures of the sunsets from the lanai. We found the bed to be very comfortable and we had excellent communication and information from the owner. Some decent restaurants close by and some great restaurants within a short drive. We'd definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so.

Great location, nice unit, faulty equipment

We have stayed at Kihei Akahi many times over the last 40 years and enjoy the close proximity of great beaches and a variety of stores easily within walking distance. The unit was comfortable with breeze that maintained a pleasant temperature. The kitchen was equipped with what we required to prepare and serve meals. Unfortunately the built-in microwave wasn’t working but we appreciate that a counter model was quickly supplied for our use. In addition, the TV in the living room didn’t work either. Someone came out and verified that it wasn’t user error. While watching TV was not a high priority for us (too many other things to do in paradise) it was annoying walking through Costco and seeing affordable TVs available that would have been suitable replacements. There is a small tv in the bedroom that functioned but sitting on a bed in a small room is not our style.

Great location, could use some attention

We have stayed at this condominium complex many times. This was the first time at this unit. This condo is in an excellent location, right across the street from the beach and within easy walking and driving distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. This unit has nothing wrong with it, it is clean and contains all you would need for your vacation on Maui, including a well furnished kitchen, excellent washer/dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, some sizes of snorkeling gear, and some very old and worn beach towels....... but the condo could use some attention to make for a better stay. Both the main bedroom and the sleeper sofa mattresses are extremely indented and very uncomfortable, even with the mattress topper you cannot get comfortable. The A/C unit does not cool the condo, we were there in November, when the weather was not too hot and even then the A/C just works too hard to cool the place and never can quite get it even near cool in the back areas. You can get an amazing cross breeze in the evenings with all windows open. The shower looks attractive in the pictures but is not practical whatsoever. There is no shower door and the water just splashes all over the floor making a mess after each shower. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. We were there for 10 nights and the 2 provided rolls just didn't cut it. Again, nothing bad at all with this condo, just some things that could improve one's stay if these things are important to you.

Some misleading advertising

I love Maui and this is a good location however the advertising for this unit is deceiving. It's noisy in the bedroom but a lot of condos are in Maui in my experience because of the louvered windows. Pretty sure the floors aren't "wood". We were told a couple of days before the trip that the TV in the living room and the microwave didn't work. We were told there was a replacement for the microwave but we didn't get it until several days into the trip and I had to ask the owner about it. The person just brought the microwave into the condo while we were out with no phone call or other attempts at coordination. I thought this was kind of strange. Half the closet is locked for the owners stuff which I totally understand but you don't get the entire closet as shown. In addition to the microwave, the light in the fridge didn't work so I'm not sure how new the appliances are. The sliding glass door (lever) locked us out while we had dinner cooking on the stove (luckily the neighbor was also on her Lanai and I was able to give her the 10 digit code because I had my phone with me. She said it had happened before to previous renters). There is no additional mattress topper for the sofa bed, just the base and a mattress. I can live without TV and none of this ruined the trip but it's all something to be aware of.

Thank you Melanie for the review. However, I don't understand what you mean by deceiving. The description is completely accurate. There are signs posted around the complex that it's quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. So if there is occasionally a person making a little more noise than usual during the quiet time then we really can't control that. However, thankfully it's few and far between. Again not sure what you mean by "pretty sure the floors aren't wood". Most structures in a tropical environment are made with cement including ours. In some nicer condos we put wood or wood laminate on the floors to make it look nice and be comfortable on the feet. The TV was replaced with a brand new one from Costco as well as the over the range microwave. I did drop a replacement microwave for you in the meantime. And for you to say it "just showed up" is also a little deceiving. We have a text thread that said I was going to have one dropped off the next day. Not sure how that was not understood. You are correct about the closet. Half of it is used for condo supplies, and tools for maintenance. But not sure how you came to the conclusion that guests get the entire closet. Nothing was said or shown. Seems like a bit of "deception" on your part again. The appliance are only a couple years old, however, as you probably can imagine there are many many people that come in and use all the appliances so they do get well used and need occasional maintenance. Once I saw that the light was out, I fixed it immediately. All you have to do is send out a request if you run into any issues and they get fixed immediately. I'm on the island 2 or 3 times a year trying to make sure everything is in great working order so that each and every guest enjoys their stay completely. The sliding door was also fixed so lock outs will never happen again. I guess my suggestion for your next VRBO stay would be to maintain good communication with the owner instead of no communication and then deceptively complain at the end. I think it would be a much better vacation for you.

Best location

If you want to walk to the beach and food, and have a comfy home base than this is the place for you. I was there for 9 days and it was perfect for my needs. Clean, comfortable and most importantly a great location!

My wife and I live in Sunny California near the base of the Sierra Mountains. We love the mountains but especially love to visit the ocean. We vacationed in Maui a few years ago and absolutely loved it. We decided to invest in a little piece of paradise so that we can come back often and visit this beautiful island. We have 3 kids who like to swim, snorkel and scuba dive so Maui is the perfect place for us.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose Kihei Akahi because it's affordable and has several amenities that we enjoy. Some of which are Golfing, minutes to the beach, site seeing, hiking, snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as shopping and both casual and upscale restaurants.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We enjoy being close to great restaurants and shopping. We enjoy the 2 beautiful pools, BBQ areas and the tennis courts. But of course our favorite is the awesome beaches across the street.
