Great Pocono Location for Family

The home is updated and very clean. It is conveniently located near local destinations like Kalahari and Camelback. Lots of shopping and restaurants options within a few miles. The owner was very responsive when we had questions about the house. We plan to rent again on our next trip to the area.

We spent a very good time , comfortable house, beautiful back yeard with pretty balcony. so quiet and nice area. The owner couple are so kind and nice. I would highly recommend to spend unforgetable time in this house. Thank you very much!

Great weekend with family, even the dog!

Great location! Close to Kalahari and Mount Airy. Great for dogs with the enclosed back yard and plenty of room to run. Close to Walmart for those last minute items. Would consider returning in summer to enjoy the lake just down the block. We enjoyed the fire pit and visits from several deer.

Great place to enjoy the Poconos with family!

This is a delightful property for a getaway in the Poconos. The secluded back yard, two decks, dining table, gas and charcoal grills made dining al fresco so enjoyable. The new kitchen and laundry appliances are a real plus. Games are provided for inside entertainment. A “real home away from home,” with a very pleasant and approachable host. The perfect getaway! A great find!

Pocono Perfection

From beginning to end the entire process was very smooth and easy. Any and all communication with the owner was fast and effective. The home was exactly as described and in a great location for us to hit many of the area attractions. Additionally having the fenced in backyard was a big plus for our furry companion. We use the fire pit nightly and couldn't be happier. If we find ourselves in the area again would definitely want to stay here.

Great location for pet owners

Owner was super responsive and let us check in a little early which was huge! The home was very clean and convenient to Camelback, Kalahari. Also good amount of stores and restaurants nearby. We had our dogs with us and the backyard was perfect for them to run around in. Neighborhood was also quiet. Just be sure to ask how to use the heater in the living room. We didn't operate the remote properly and it was cold at first! Lol! Also be sure to bring towels. Bedding is included otherwise.

Long Weekend trip to the Poconos

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay as guests at your property. We had a wonderful time. The place was clean and comfortable and located 10-15 mins away from all the indoor water parks, trails, outlets, restaurants, casino and more. The owners were prompt into getting back to us with all of our questions. If you’re looking to relax in a quiet neighborhood by the fire at night after a day of excursions with your pets this place is it! Back yard is completely fenced in! The owner did say that the pool was under construction and was not sure if it was done yet so we drove by and looked like it might not be done until the end of summer. However, there is a small beach at the river which is just a couple blocks away. Thank you again and look forward to returning next time we are in the Poconos!

Good location but not clean. Very dated home

Good location to Waterpark. Unfortunately home is very dated and needs updated. Heater does not work. He has a mini-split for first floor however it does not heat the rooms nor kitchen. Bottom half of basement has two bedrooms however the only heat available is the portable small space heater which isnt really sufficient. Kitchen has very limited cooking supplies. We saw it was pet friendly and selected the option to bring our pets however the next morning he sent us a text to send him money via venmo to collect the pet fee. Of note, he tried to up charge the pet fee from what he had charged us online. Tvs and internet was very slow and could barely watch a movie. We had 7 total guest and only received 4 old towels for the weekend. We are super host ourselves so we understand the process however just overall poor experience.

This property is located right near Kalahari, which is exactly what we needed. The exterior of the house had Christmas lights up & could use a good power wash. Grass needed a good mow & gardens needed some tending to. Size of house was great for 4 adults & 2 kids.The neighborhood is easily walkable. Once inside it looks like the pictures, though some of the games were moved into the garage. Which wasn't a big deal. The interior was still a bit decorated for Christmas. The big front window shade is very heavy & we were afraid to operate it, so we left it closed. The house was dark bc of that. Rooms were all like the pictures. The upstairs bathroom toilet could probably use a new toilet seat, as it looks very "worn. " Beds (many memory foam) all decent, though my in-laws said the queen downstairs was uncomfortable. Downstairs shower leaked.Kitchen - very basic supplies that were scattered in various places. Pots/pans could be updated. We brought hand towels & ended up buying cooking utensils. No pot holders that we could find. Grill was great.Nice big driveway & basketball hoop. We couldn't find a basketball though.Hosts we're very responsive & easy to talk to. They answered all questions. You do pay a recreation fee (I think that's what it's called). That doesn't allow access to the community pool. You still have to pay 5 for each person each day. Hosts said it's for short term rental.Overall 4.5/5 - house just need some updates

Great dog stay

Very few pocono places have fenced in yards, so i was very relieved to find this one so my dogs could come with us on vacation. Everything was as described and the house is well taken care of. My dogs had a great time! Def recommend

Perfect family get-together

Perfect meet up location between DE and MA for a family ranging from 5 to 88 years old and our dog. The kids loved the games and bunk, the fenced in yard was perfect for the dog and the entertaining area was comfortable for the 7 of us. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant vacaction!

AWESOME PLACE

This house was amazing - we loved it! It was clean, tons of room, lots of fun things to do, beautiful decks, huge yard. It was so close to Kalahari water park (like 5 min drive) and nearby to Camelback too. The kids, me, my husband and dog had a blast. The owners were VERY responsive to questions we had and we HIGHLY recommend this house to others and we def will be coming back - THANK YOU so much for our quick get away.
