The cabin is beautifully positioned by a pond with great fishing and Loons. The near towns are full of nice restaurants and interesting things to do and places to walk.

This little cabin was cozy and comfortable. The setting directly on the pond was idyllic. It was easy to settle in and feel "at home." The listed amenities included a gas fireplace and stove but the hostess clarified it was a gas fireplace stove, which was very pleasant and easy to use. We loved this cabin setting so much that we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

The online photos are a lot better than the actual property.Overall the property could do with updating.A very comfortable bed.The kitchen area is in need of updating.The outlook across the lake (Tilden Pond) was stunning in the early morning and at sunset.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin on Tilden Pond! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It feels secluded yet is just 15 minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, the Harbor Walk in Belfast, and is in a great location for those wanting to see the mid coast. We saw deer, turkeys, eagles, and a huge flock of Canada geese that spent the day hanging out in the water in front of the cabin. We also saw some nice fish hanging out by the rock pier. The cabin is rustic and comfy and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and watching the sunset was a great way to end the day. It really is a special, one of a kind spot - perfect for a couple that enjoys the outdoors. We hope to make it back there again someday!

The little cottage combined with the lake are just plain wonderful.

I walked and fished and generally enjoyed the sunsets overall. The town of Belfast is convenient and full of summertime music and festivals.

The property, in the 25 plus years I’ve been renting it, remains quite special. It’s easy to enjoy the proximity to the water, the family of geese, the perpetual quiet and the heavenly chorus of the loons. Oh yes, and the fishing is to die for.I will be back for years to come.

Great stay

Allison was great and extremely responsive. The cabin was clean and the location was perfect. It was nice having both heat and air conditioning as some days both were used. I rented my own kayak, but having the boat available was a nice addition. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Beautiful small lake with a moderately rustic but very functional 1 bedroom cabin essentially at the water's edge.

Short stay

We were very relaxed at Tilden pond but unfortunately both me and my wife tested positive for COVID on Wednesday and had to return home the next day. We liked how the camp wasn’t too far out of the way for Acadia National park and Baxter State Park day trips.

Another stay at Tilden Pond after a brief lapse

My wife and I have become attached to this little cabin, after returning several years in a row. Following a brief interruption we were happy to see that the new owners had changed very little. It's snug but has all that is necessary for us, and it's in the right place.

End of the road wonder

More beautiful than my words can describe. Fish jumping, loons calling, geese & ducks and the colors of autumn all around. End of the road cottage on the edge of a lake, peaceful spot to watch sunrises and sunsets. Hope to return!!

Very enjoyable

Great location on beautiful pond! Cottage was very nice, well appointed, but just a little too small for us. Host was easy to communicate with. I was disappointed they no longer offered a kayak or canoe as advertised when I booked the property back in April.

A little slice of heaven!!!

I came to visit friends in the area and this cabin was PERFECT!!! it is well appointed, very clean, and there was nothing I didn't have that I wished was there. It was peaceful, the weather was gorgeous. I could hear the loons at night on the water, slept with the windows open every night. The hosts were kind, not intrusive, and answered any questions I had quickly. I would definitely stay here again. This is a perfect spot for a single person, or a couple. Everything was perfect!

Everything was special in every way. The cabin is quiet and private. Closeness to the water is very special...eagles, geese and loons all contribute to the ongoing symphony. Small, but very functional and comfortable. So many places to visit, including downtown Belfast, Young's Lobster Pound and numerous destinations north and south on US 1. This one is a little known gem!

Lovely little cabin

This is a rustic little cabin in a perfect location. It is well-equipped and tidy inside. Everything seemed very clean and well cared for. The lake setting could not be beat. Also we love this part of Maine. Overall very pleased. The only small thing I could say about it is that it is not fancy (that is obvious from the photos) and it has a bit of a musty cabin smell. But it was very charming and we would return.
