Beautiful, brand new, upscale waterfront home on quiet cove but close to big water. Enjoy all that Lake Norman has to offer!! Very close to The Landing restaurant and other waterfront restaurants. Wide array of nearby amenities - shopping, restaurants, US National Whitewater Center, and just a short drive to Uptown Charlotte.
Spacious dock to accommodate your boat or a rental! Guests are welcome to use Stand Up Paddleboards, kayak and other water toys.

Great Spot for Family Fun

We had a wonderful week at Serenity Cove. The house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed. Water access, paddleboards, kayaks, and the open dock space for a boat rental ensured we had plenty to do throughout our stay. Everyone in my family raved about how comfortable the beds were. Lots of cute local restaurants nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect mini vacation!!!

My little family and I absolutely LOVED our experience here ! It was my first vrbo experience and it couldn’t have been better. Everything was made easy by the owner and I appreciated it so much. I highly reccomend this location to anyone wanting a lake getaway. 10/10

Beautiful house and great location to my daughter's wedding venue. Wasn't expecting run down mobile homes on street. Most of the street looks kind of sketchy but everyone seemed nice and neighborly. The house is great! Host texted that he had an amazon order coming for toilet paper. Only 1 of 3 bathrooms had a partial roll left. Order arrived the following evening after I had bought some but the was very responsive to my texts and communicated well. Overall very good stay. Only suggestion is maybe a stool to get up on the beds. The downstairs bed is especially high for short people like me ( 5'3")

Wedding trip!

Perfect little house for a weekend wedding trip! Plenty of room of 8 adults. Had everything we needed! Beds were super comfy and loved all the extras for outside. Had a glorious fire in the evenings after a little paddle boarding. We had a great time would definitely book this place again.

Everything was perfect! The house was exactly as described and the location was great. The quiet cove of the lake was peaceful, and close enough to get out to the lake easily. We had a fantastic time at Serenity Cove!

Beautiful home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serenity Cove! A little trouble with the code not working at check in but was able to get in touch with the owner and the rest was smooth sailing! The house was perfect with plenty of room for a girls weekend. Enjoyed the lake and having everything close by! Would stay here again!

Aptly named

Serenity Cove is aptly named. The cottage is situated on a very peaceful cove. The view from the back of the house is so calming. The home itself is beautiful inside and very comfortable.

Overall house is very nice. Location is a little suspect. Positives:- On Lake (In cove)- Updated home- Great home for a lake weekend (location)- Grill - Nice dockNegatives- Kayaks (all) have holes/leaks- Porch was covered in pollen and not clean- Outdoor chairs were covered in pollen- Trash in the yard from previous stay- Dishwasher had dishes in it from previous stay- Master bathroom had a foul odor (from shower)- Owner's boat was in the driveway (Took up half the driveway)

It was perfect for us

On the water! Had everything we needed and more! Very clean, modern, new home. Quiet cove - we got to practice paddle boarding for the first time ever from the dock. Bed was very comfortable. Sat outside every morning for coffee, every lunch and every dinner. Homeowner even supplied wood for the fire pit. They have an eye for detail and they have all your bases covered. We hope to return!

Lakefront dream home

This house is beautiful. Phoenix was a very prompt and responsive host. The house is like something from Southern Living. It was immaculate. Kitchen fully stocked. We loved on the massive porch overlooking lake. Kayaks and paddle boards ready to use. Fishing and swimming off the dock. It was fabulous. We will be back.

Great weekend getaway

It was exactly as pictured. Great location, easy access to Lake Norman, walking trails, restaurants, etc. and secluded enough to feel "away from it all." Internet was down when we arrived due to a Spectrum outage in the area, but it allowed us to truly unplug for a little bit. We enjoyed the lake on the paddleboat, and it was awesome to have life vests in all sizes needed - a super thoughtful touch by the host! Be careful and watch your step around the fireplace - the hearth edge is about an inch higher than the surrounding floor, and my youngest stubbed his toe on it. Free weights in the garage meant that I could still do my workout and not feel guilty about the 5-layer chocolate cake from Big Daddy's restaurant! We had a wonderful time and would gladly return!

Great week at the lake.

We had a wonderful time. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked with anything we may have forgotten to bring. We spent mornings and evenings on the back covered deck. Ceiling fans and plenty of shade made it comfortable there. The no wake area was perfect for peaceful kayaking. A nice quiet street for morning walks. The guys were out enjoying fishing every day. Plenty of places for shopping about 15 minutes away. We spent a day antiquing nearby. This was our first rental with a garage available and it definitely came in handy.

Wry nice lake house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for my family, my wife and I and two adult age kids. The 3 king bedrooms were perfect. The location is on a finger of Lake Norman. They owner graciously provide paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat, a lily pad, and small plastic inner tubes (for kids). We were visiting family in the area (the owners gave us permission to host them during the day). The extended family consisted of young kids (8,5,2) who all got in the water ((the 2 year old on the lily pad). The water was shallow enough that adults could walk all the way across (mud bottom) with the kids. We had a great time with everyone in the water. The dock would accommodate a boat and there are local marinas if you want to go that route. The house itself has the 3 bedrooms, a living room kitchen and dining in a big great room concept (no walls between them). The kitchen had the basic necessary furnishings plus there were come condiments in the refrigerator (we added to that pile). There is also an outdoor grill which we didn’t use. There is a fire pit by the water which we used and made s’mores one night. The backyard slopes steeply to the water and other than he hammock and fire pit, probably not a place to plan events. The Tv uses the spectrum cable app and the living room tv has appletv. The owners communicated well with us on a couple minor items/questions. We would stay there again in the future

Not quite what we were expecting!

We arrived at the property about 15 minutes before check-in so we decided to wait on the front porch. The front porch was covered with so many dead bugs, webs, dirt and debris that we couldn't sit down. When we went to enter the property at 3pm our code wouldn't work. The housekeeper aggressively opened the door to let us know that she wasn't done cleaning and it would be another 1/2 hour. The house was ok...the tv in the living room is hung ridiculously high on the wall so that you have to lie down to watch it. The towel bars in 2 of the bathrooms kept pulling out of the wall...you could see where they had been repaired multiple times. On our 3rd day (Tuesday) the owner texted my husband to "remind" us that the septic was only designed to work for 6 people. We only had 6 people staying in the house and we were out on the lake most of the time. We did have family come by for dinner and to hang out most evenings, but no additional people were showering at the house. The septic tank started to stink to the point that we couldn't sit outside. The owner told us that it was just emptied 5 days earlier, but he would call his guy out to look at it. My husband spoke to the septic guy and he told us that the system is not functioning properly...the owner knew that it was broken, which is why he sent us the text "warning" us. He drained it again and the very next day it was stinking again. When we arrived at the property the garbage cans were overflowing with trash at the curb and the grass was about 6 inches long. My husband asked the owner when the grass would be cut because we wanted to play corn hole and set up our badminton net. The seller thanked my husband for letting him know that the grass was long, there had been some kind of accounting error, and the guy would be there to cut it by Wednesday. So we checked in on Saturday and were being asked to deal with overgrown grass for 5 days. My husband had to cut the grass himself. We put our trash out at the curb and the garbage people finally came by and only picked up 1 can, so we had trash piled up for our entire stay. The property has potential and Lake Norman is beautiful. Very disappointed.

Jim, sorry about all the issues during your stay. The septic system does have issues when the home is overloaded with 10-12 people everyday (as several neighbors confirmed during your stay). I plan on upgrading the system during the off season. Apologies for the yard service accounting issue; no one (not even the yard service) mentioned any issues before you. I would have mowed myself if I were in town or would have pushed yard service to arrive earlier if you'd expressed the urgency. Apologies also for the trash service and bugs - again, i would have taken care of it were I not traveling for work. I hope the next time you visit Lake Norman, you find a place more to your liking.

Very nice and accommodating Lake House

We enjoyed our stay! The house is new and very clean, with everything you need in the kitchen as well as necessities for the house. We loved having the dock for our boat and appreciated all the fun outside toys that were there for us to use. My family didn’t want to leave :)

Weekend on the lake

Everything you need for a weekend on the lake! It was easy to launch and dock our boat. We made use of the kayak and standup paddle board that the owner has available at the house. Beautiful kitchen and plenty of space in the bedrooms/bathrooms.

Wonderful Stay!

Came into town for a funeral and needed a quiet, spacious place to stay. Plenty of room for 3 adults, quiet, comfortable. New modern property, nicely decorated! An excellent stay!
