Beautiful home nestled in the Adirondack mountains. Absolutely PERFECT for experiencing stunning Fall foliage! Relax by the heated pool and hot tub during the day, tell ghost stories around the fire pit at night. Enjoy family game and movie nights by the fireplace in our spacious living room. Close to beaches on Lake George, shopping in Vermont, hiking, fishing, swimming, skiing, snowmobiling, sledding. So much to do and see! Heated Pool open from April 1 st until October 20.

Secluded Vacation Spot

House is surrounded by woods in a mountainous area. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We even played horseshoes in the yard. House has everything you would need. We definitely over packed. It is about a 45 minute drive to Lake George, restaurants, and a Walmart. Highly recommend visiting Martha's ice cream. The wifi is slow...assuming due to the area. My only complaint would be the upstairs master bed. It is creaky and uncomfortable. Would love to visit again during a more peak season.

Feels Like Home

Love, love, love! No doubt we will be back. My husband and I had the most wonderful experience. The hosts have created such a warm, relaxing, cozy, and beautiful home…perfect for a winter getaway. They are communicative and so helpful with anything you need. Their house is situated privately yet, close enough to activities.

Adirondack getaway

The Adirondack getaway is exactly as described! So relaxing, feels like home. The hosts make it feel like yours and everything is just comfortable. The home is beautiful and the location is perfect for spending a day in Lake George.

Great gateway from the big city noise

My family and I loved the stay. Great place to enjoy the nature. The house had everything we needed such as great kitchen, fireplace, and jacuzzi.

Overall nice, relaxing for a couples retreat.

It was a bit farther to Lake George activity than the 7 miles but still a quant place if you’re looking for a chill relaxing time. We loved the fire place. The hot tub wasn’t the cleanest the filter was full and wasn’t emptied prior to our stay. The sink in kitchen was frustrating when trying to do dishes. The water pressure was very low. I would have brought more towels too because for four adults there were only 4 bath towels. Then three for hot tub. The house was clean and had it fully stocked kitchen for your needs. Beds could have been better. Overall the experience was a good one and we had a very relaxing enjoyable weekend with our friends.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The location was ideal, close to local attractions and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch vacation rental experience

Even better than expected!

5 stars all the way on this property. It was all we hoped it would be and more! The house is beautiful, spacious yet cozy. It felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing, cooking and serving meals. The furniture was comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic. We stayed for Christmas and arrived in the afternoon after a morning snow storm. The drive and walkways were cleared, host checked in, property caretaker was available. Property is beautiful and private. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet private getaway that’s not far from civilization.

Beautiful home and area

The stay was lovely. One minor issue while we were there and it was quickly acknowledged and fixed by project manager. The rooms were great, fireplace perfect. Water pressure in kitchen is not very strong but no problems with the showers or hot tub. .

The Best Getaway

We were looking for something for our “baby moon” before I go back to work. We had a dream checklist and this home checked off everything on our list. We brought our 3mo old and our dog and had a peaceful weekend enjoying the hot tub, the Blackstone, and the cozy fireplace. We had some questions that were answered immediately. Can’t wait to go back with friends when it’s warmer not enjoy the pool and yard more! Love love lovd

Anniversary weekend

The house was just as described and very clean. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub a lot!!! The host was very responsive and helpful. They even had the fireplace all set up for a cozy fire. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay here, the house and property are even nicer in person than in the photos! We were two couples, one toddler, and 2 dogs and the house had everything we needed -comfy beds, well set kitchen, cozy living room, basement with kid toys, pool/hottub, huge backyard. Would definitely recommend to others!

Mini Vacay

The property looks even better than the pictures posted on VRBO. Check in was easy. I brought way too much stuff up with me. Their home really is fully stocked. Different spices, airfryer, everything. Definitely will be back again, but this time booking earlier so I can get a longer stay. We all had a great time

2024 Summer getaway

The house and yard were beautiful. Hot tub and pool also very nice. House was stocked with any amenties so a light pack was possible. Not too far from the village, so an easy drive. Will definitely plan an autumn long weekend.

Would happily return!

Our family of 6 adults found this to be a great property, and all commented that they would stay again. The Owner(s) were communicative, friendly, and quickly addressed any questions we posed to them. We enjoyed mornings on the porch swings, afternoon/evenings in the pool & hot tub, and the fire pit at night. We would love to see the noisy beds updated and a curtain in the master bath, but those were the only things we thought worth leaving a suggestion about.

A Slice of Heaven

This beautiful home is the quintessence of peace and serenity at its best! The generous space both inside and outside and all the personal touches made this home perfect for me, my husband, our teens and our border collie! Upon arrival, we were just in awe of all the amenities, so much more than we expected! Such a welcoming vibe can be felt throughout this home. The owner was wonderful to communicate with and quick to respond to all my inquiries. Waze took us right to the doorstep, very easy to get to. All paved roads and plenty of parking space! The hot tub and heated pool really made for a great time. The whole set up in the backyard was truly amazing with such a beautiful backdrop of trees. No neighbors - just nature! Having the 3 bedrooms was perfect for our son and daughter - each got to have their own space! We really spent most of the time together enjoying the backyard and the great room where we enjoyed the games and the widescreen TV. My husband LOVED using the outdoor "dream" grill. He tends to be quite picky about things but said this was his favorite vrbo we ever stayed in. My favorite area was the covered porch equipped with comfortable porch swings, comforting country decor and a beautiful mountain view! It was such a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. I don't think this vrbo choice could have been any more perfect for our family! Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!

Great spot

This home was perfect for us. We like to explore new places but also have some amenities at the house as we have an autistic son who doesn't like too much as once. We were able to visit Lake George Village (about an hr drive with the road construction) and Fort Ticonderoga (30ish mins) very easily but also have the quiet space at home to ourselves. The outdoor kitchen is one my husband only ever dreams of having and it took a lot to get the kids out of the pool. The Wizard of Oz memorabilia was really the cherry on top for us as were huge fans! If we ever head back to LG, we'll be sure to stay here again.

Wonderful retreat in the woods

The home and property are wonderful and Serene. The amenities and ease of dealing with the owners was five star. Their home is beautiful and accommodations were lovely.

My husband and I are empty nesters; I'm a nurse and he is retired. We love visiting and spending time with our children and grand children, and we especially love being able to share our home with families so that they can build memories of their own.

We grew up in this area and appreciate it for all of its beauty. Our home is private and offers a peaceful and relaxing getaway for you and your guests. Close to Lake George, The Queen of the American Lakes, and not far from Rutland, Vermont, for those who love to ski and shop. The Fall season is especially beautiful here and there are activities year round.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Privacy! Neighbors are not right next door. Our heated pool is open from April through November and the hot tub is open year round. We have a large front porch with swings where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. We often get visits from wildlife so be on the lookout! There's no limit to what you can do here - hiking, fishing, swimming, skiing, sledding, snowshoeing - you don't have to go far to have fun.
