Kona Reef Unit A24 is a beautifully appointed one-bedroom, one-bathroom oceanfront condo nestled in the heart of Historic Kailua Village. Step into the unit and let the soothing sound of the ocean wash away all your worries and the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Features a split AC system, ensuring a comfortable living and sleeping experience in both the living area and bedroom. Sliding glass door is coated with a UV film to shield against the afternoon sun's heat. Living room has a new sleeper sofa, providing extra comfort for guests.

Unit A24 also comes complete with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for our guests' convenience. While some snorkel gear may be left behind by previous guests, please note that we do not provide snorkel equipment. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun of snorkeling, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.
Kona Reef Resort is an oceanfront condominium complex located next to the beautiful sandy beach and a popular surf spot called Honl's. Fabulous condo

This condo was awesome!The location was great and walkable to downtown Kona. The condo itself was right on the water and was great for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets.The condo had all the essentials including a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of beach supplies. (chairs, towels, coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards)All in all, a great experience!

Very nice! We didn’t know about the parking permit until we were warned by the complex. Didn’t know how to find A-24 so we searched all over. Once we found the room we were very happy with the room.

Awesome stay!

This place was amazing. Right on the water and beautifully decorated. The property manager was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a good one, including returning an item that we left behind. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, beautiful, and well equipped

The condo was spacious, clean, and really really well equipped! The ocean side view was fantastic. Everything you could need but food. It's a short walk from the tourist strip with copious restaurants stores and the ever present ABC store for adore mentioned food stuff. This was a great facility and it made for a very good time.

We really enjoyed the condo! It was clean and organized. The appliances worked well. The sofa bed was comfortable. The bedding was organized in the plastic bins and vacuume suction bags which was helpful. There could have been a better hook or hanger for the living room "closet" area for the second guest sleeping in the living room. Other than that we really enjoyed it!

November 2022 Kona Reef Visit

We enjoyed our visit to Kona. The condo is in an excellent location within covenient walking distance to the village. The ocean views were excellent. The A/C system was the best we have ever experienced. The bathroom shower was great. We were disappointed in the operation of the sliding door and particularly the screen; these need to be fixed/replaced.

Perfect!

The condo was very clean and in a perfect location. We loved watching the waves over the rocks right out in front. I am positive we will be back! Pictures are accurate except for a new couch and a new slider. :) The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. We loved everything!

Amazing stay

This unit was very clean, very well stocked with everything you would need. Sitting on the patio was wonderful. You could watch all the activity going on in the water, beautiful sunsets and listening to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. We did not do any cooking at the unit but could have easily as it was stocked with spices and all the pans and utensils. A/C was great. The entire complex is very well kept. There are so many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Base for Exploring the Big Island!

We loved staying at this green sea turtle-themed unit! It was just the right size for the three of us. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the bathroom had us thinking of renovation ideas for our house, and the big screen TV kept us entertained at night. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub after a long day exploring. We didn't use the communal grill area, but it was very well-kept. The historic part of Kailua-Kona is only a short walk away and a small beach awaits right next door. My favorite part about this unit is the oceanfront balcony. It's closed in on all four sides, so even though you're in a condo building, it feels like it's just you and the Pacific Ocean. We would definitely return and hopefully will one day!

need to provide instructions for TV. Tracy was gracious enough to come by and help figure out the difference between streaming and Spectrum live tv. it involves two remotes. An electric teapot / boiler would be helpful. I'm not sure the quick boil function on the stove works too well - it takes several minutes to boil water for a few cups of tea. It would be fantastic if you provided a good size telescope for checking out the boats, rowers, surfers, stars and surrounding coastline. The binoculars are pretty useless for those activities. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was updated, clean and very comfortable. It was walking distance to Kona shops and restaurants. After a day of exploring the island or visiting a beach it was nice to come back to. The beach chairs and umbrella, cooler and snorkel gear were also very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the pool and cooking area although the grills could be updated. They didn’t always heat up. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the waves, surfers and of course the beautiful sunsets.

Great unit in Kona Reef

We have stayed in several different units in the Kona Reef over the past few years. This unit was the cleanest unit we have ever checked into. The remodel that was done was very nice and the unit was decorated very nicely. All of the furniture was comfortable including the bed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing and serving our meals. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working and called the after hours number around 9:30 at night. The person who took the message was very helpful and said they would leave a message for the property manager. At 6:00 am I had a text from Tracy at Kona Beach asking when she could come over to measure the area to replace the refrigerator. By 2:30 that afternoon we had a new refrigerator. Things happen and appliances break but this was handled excellent. The only issue we really had was when we booked the unit we were not informed there was a remodel taking place in the unit next door. Consequently there was construction noise during the day. This is something that should have been noted on the rental site
