Experience an A-Frame-style cabin nestled at the foot of Carson Peak and offering breathtaking vistas of the Ansel Adams Wilderness.
As you step inside these cozy cabins, you'll immediately sense the warmth and comfort of a true home away from home. On your left, you'll find a welcoming bedroom with a queen bed. Moving forward, the space opens up into a combined living area that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining tables, and a comfortable living room.
The highlight of the living room is the floor-to-ceiling glass windows that provide breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness and mountainside, bringing the natural beauty right to your doorstep.
Climbing the stairs from the living room, you'll reach a charming loft area featuring three single beds, perfect for a family or group of friends.
It's the simple pleasures of the mountains and the genuine coziness of these cabins that continue to draw people to June Lake year after year.
The place was small, but what a big view! It was perfect for our family getaway for a ski weekend. Couldnât have asked for a better setup with the family in the snow. Thank you to our host!
We loved the stay, the spectacular mountain views from the back patio, the close proximity to Silver Lake and the town of June. Best of all we could bring our pet. We donât travel without her so itâs challenging to find pet friendly places to stay. The whole family loved it!
This small A-frame has a living room, kitchen area, downstairs queen bed and three single beds on the loft. There is a great view of the mountain through the back windows.
There is a large electric heater in the living area and a smaller one in the large bedroom. We had plenty of heat on 40ish degree mornings.
Be sure to check the house guide which we didn't notice until the last day of our stay.
The cabin was not well-equipped for the changing temperature. It was too hot and and too cold. The fact that cabin didn't have insulation made it miserable during the day and night
Our stay for a ski weekend was great -- warm and set up nicely for reading and playing family games after a day on the slopes.
The kitchen is small and best-suited to simple meals. The kitchen sink does not have cold water -- it ranges from hot to hotter. The bathroom sink hot and cold water are strange too -- the cold side only runs cold if the hot water is also running.
But the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the heaters and wood stove kept us warm, and the location and view were terrific.
