Great location , comfortable apartment

We only could stay a week but this apartment would be great for any length of time. Floor above ground floor, overlooking pool area - better location than some others in the complex. Air conditioning worked very well. Washing machine and dryer in the unit and endless supply of hot water if needed. A few minutes from the quieter Coco beach just north of the main Playa beaches. Up and coming north end restaurants were wonderful. Very friendly managers and residents both in the complex and the neighborhood.

Great quiets spot in Playa Blanca

We came to Playa with 17 month old baby therefore we wanted sights in walking distance but not right by party spot. This location was perfect. Near the beach and ave 5 but not exactly by the ferry (Uber touristic). Flat was great, it’s much larger than appears on pictures - there is even separate laundry room. All the equipment you can possibly imagine. Jame was super helpful & we would definitely recommend the place. Thank you!!

Picture Perfect and Close to the Beach.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo is the perfect size with all of the amenities. Jamie and Manuel are great property mangers who responded to all of our needs. They even have a road map in the condo to some of the great local spots. Les Alizes was a great place to stay in Playa Del Carmen. We will defiantly stay here again. Thanks Mike, Jamie, and Manuel for making the transportation to the condo easy. We loved having our own driver waiting at the airport for the great price. Thanks to a great rental. We loved everything. Shondra & AJ

Good stay at Michael

Clean place, good location, A/C in bedroom non functioning, perhaps very hot to sleep in. Sofa wasn't comfortable to sleep also. Except this, safe, good restaurants around, but the beach was full of algae. Didn't even swim at the beach once except in Cozumel.

nice little place

close to the public beach at the north end of town. Too bad about all the beach clubs and the seaweed invasion. easy walk to the 5th Ave. hustle bustle. Quite the social scene around the pool with other Canadian retirees. The property manager was beyond super excellent. The complex and condo are starting to show their age.

We had a great time, quiet and cozy.

We had a great time. Place was quiet and cozy, just what we were looking for. 1 block off the beach and a couple of blocks from 5th Ave. The pool area was great with lush tropical plants, trees for shade. Host met us at the condo at check in and were helpful giving us the lay of the land. We would definitely stay here again.

great place at a great price

Great place with good people. Some excellent restaurants within walking distance. Beach access is not as easy as it would be if you were staying right on it, but then we didn't pay for that. Only one complaint--we had to kill a few cockroaches in the bedroom. This was not a big deal, but a little spray would have eliminated the problem altogether.

Best bang for your buck

The managers of this property were real pros! I have never experienced anything better. The place came complete with everything we could need, even beach chairs and towels. In our room we were provided with a detailed book that excluded eating recommendations, maps, and how to visit local sights. The introduction letter was the most complete one I have ever received. These managers may be young, but they are real pros! I hope to visit again and stay in the same place. Great location. It’s close to the excitement, but just far enough away to be quiet.

Beautiful condo! PERFECT location!

My sister and I traveled from the US to Playa del Carmen in early October for the first time this year. I was absolutely thrilled with our condo, the managers, and the location. It’s only a five minute walk to 5th Ave. where we ate, shopped and explored. Taxis are available everywhere and we were able to get places quickly and cheaply if we needed to. There are small shops, but there is also a local Walmart a few miles away for groceries. There is also a 7-11 attached to the condos for any last minute needs. The beach is only a block away from the condo, but there is also a “public” beach where restaurants offered food, drinks and chairs with umbrellas. We took a taxi and stayed all day! We had a great time and felt taken care of! I highly recommend staying here! I will definitely be back!

Comfortable, breezy, private and one block from the beach!

This condo was absolutely perfect! With both balcony doors open at either end of the condo and a few ceiling fans running- it was the perfect temperature any time of the day! AC was also available but never needed it. Bedroom balcony was private and shaded by palm trees and overlooking the pool. Pool area was lush and accommodating for many parties. Kitchen was fully equipped and a 7-11 is right around the corner for ice, water and essentials. One short block from the beach! Easy access to Quinta Avenida - pedestrian walking mall. Very quiet area - never heard noise at night! Easy walk to restaurants and shops on 5th Ave. Property managers - Jamie and Manuel were fabulous! Super friendly and helpful. Great restaurant recommendations. They helped us make a few calls and reservations. Very sweet couple! This tucked away gem is private with easy access to everything you need and want! I would highly recommend staying at this second floor condo, one short block from the beach.

Relaxing and close to the beach, shopping and restaurants

We stayed in Michael's condo for two weeks and enjoyed it. Our booking process was quite smooth and Jamie and Micheal met us at the condo and were helpful throughout our stay. This was our third stay in the Alizes complex and it is still a relaxing vacation spot, being close to the beach and many new restaurants on 5th Avenue and surrounding areas. It was also nice to have the vendors come into the complex with their products. The Tourist Police station across the street makes the area feel very safe. The Italian restaurant below the complex was very good and it was nice to have the 7 Eleven to get ice. Taxi's are across the street and very reasonable. The beach area has changed with the seaweed coming in and at times the smell is quite strong but we found the beach to the left of Cannibal Royal to be very nice. We would highly recommend Michael's condo for a relaxing holiday.

Great place to discover Playa del Carmen

The apartment was clean and practical for 3 persons in a quiet neighborhood at a safe distance from the noisy and busy tourist main street (la Quinta). The beach is 3 minutes away and again the noisy part of it is further away which is good. The place does not really have a view though. The condo has a nice pool to relax (but do not forget mosquito's at night). The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this place if you want to go to Playa.

Great Location!

My husband and I rented for 2 months. We enjoyed our stay very much. Jamie & Manuel were very helpful and if there was a problem they responded to our emails immediately. The condo does need to be updated. The furnishings are worn and well used as are the kitchen utensils and bed linens. The area is very quiet at night yet we were within walking distance to 5th Avenue. We liked the fact that the beach was a very short walk from the condo. We felt very safe walking at any time of day or night. Jamie gave us directions to several fabulous restaurants! My favorite was the fruit stand with fresh squeezed orange juice daily! MMMM Good!

Great location and comfortable condo

Lovely condo very close to beach and 5th ave restaurants. Michael was responsive to all of our questions prior to our trip, and Jamie and Manuel were incredibly helpful during our stay. All of Jamie's suggestions for restaurants and food stands were spot on! The condo itself was very comfortable for the two of us. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

Amazing condo in fantastic location!!

We absolutely loved our honeymoon stay!! We were here for 3 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly!! Michael is great and even surprised us with a special gift for our honeymoon 😃 There is a bottled water counter top dispenser that was very useful, dishes and utensils were all there and very clean. The space has 2 balconies which we loved! There is an amazing modern bathroom with lots of hot water. There is even a laundry area if you need to do laundry. There is ample drawer and closet space and a nice large living and dining room area. We loved the proximity to everything on 5th avenue without being in the middle of it all. We had the best vacation here and will definitely be back!!

Perfect vacation condo

My husband and I stayed at the condo for a week at the end of April. It was our first stay in Playa Del Carmen. The booking process was super efficient, with the owner, Mike, being very responsive and helpful. I emailed several times with questions in the weeks proceeding our trip, and Mike was always really quick to reply. The condo itself is perfect. A home-away-from-home. We quickly settled in and stocked up at the local Walmart. The "Les Alizes" complex is clean, super quiet, and well maintained. The pool area was never crowded and was nice and relaxing. No noisy neighbors and no bars next door or nearby, which was a concern before we travelled. All the great restaurants and bars on 5th are an easy walk away. We will definitely be back, probably the same time next year.

Great apartment!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for about 2.5 month and we couldn't be more satisfied with the apartment as it was even better than we expected. Michael answered our questions on the mail in no-time and Oscar, the property manager(?), was super friendly and also very helpful! The only bad thing I can think of is that Walmart and the other big grocery stores are quite far away. But I can't complain really, a taxi home from walmart only costs 40peso. I really recommend this apartment and if we visit Playa Del Carmen again this is where we will stay!
