Unforgettable family vacation
The house was a real gem! Right on the beach with gorgeous views from the porch! The weather was a little up and down when we were there, but the set up is great to be at the pool when it’s windy and cool or out on the beach when it’s warmer. There were many bedrooms and ample sleeping space for our party of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). However, we didn’t realize one of the bedrooms and bathrooms was actually disconnected from the remaining main living place. There were 4 bedrooms and 3 baths upstairs all connected, but the 5th bedroom (triple bunk) and 4th bathroom are accessed from downstairs outside. That posed a little bit of an issue since we had young kids that wanted to stay there, but it wasn’t connected or secured to the upstairs. However with our group size we were able to figure it out. I’m glad we didn’t have a bigger group otherwise that could have been an issue. It would be nice to have this more explicitly stated in the listing (like the separate guest house was described). The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and had everything we needed to prepare all types of meals. The bedrooms, although small with no closets, were comfortable and I liked that each had their own temperature control - great for us versus the other couple who wanted it warmer. However, I do wish that all of them had black out blinds/curtains. Only one room had all windows with blackout curtains. The remaining rooms got very bright with the sun coming up over the ocean!
